my diary

hey crunchie :) HOpe you have amazing results this week, especially with all the good work your doing :)
oh, and you DON"T resemble a beluga whale, lol...

I checked my weight on the scales this morning and I am 1/2 pound lighter again, yay! That's 5.5lb in 10 days so as you can imagine I'm quite happy. Problem is though I've been walking around all day at working hiking my trousers up.

Oh well I'm at work all day today and in a slightly busier library so I'm on my feet all the time. So far I've had a fruit and cereal bar for breakfast, an apple at morning tea break and *cringe* for lunch tuna mayo sandwiches on brown bread, a banana and my first packet of low fat crisps for over a week. I am pleased to say however that I enjoyed my cereal bar more than the crisps.

My mum is making us a small tea tonight (baked potato and baked beans) but we are going to the gym afterwards so hopefully I'll have time to burn off those crisps.

Thanks for all the good wishes everyone, hope you all have a great week!:)

"and you DON"T resemble a beluga whale" But Beluga whales are cutsie! :)

You have a lot of self dicipline! I could never get my act together to loose that much weight in only 10 days! Congratulations my dear!
The amount of exercise you pack in at the gym also brings shame upon me! haha. I always find it is so easy to cut exercising short.
Well done!

Oh well I accidentally hurt my back at work today so instead of going to the gym I'm going swimming instead. I don't mind as I love swimming and will burn more calories anyway.

Sophia thanks for stopping in, I hope my self discipline keeps up and my get up and go doesn't get up and go!

Hi Crunchie, I had to catch up on your whole diary, it was fun though. It's OK to think Beluga whales are cutsie, but still not want to look like one! I think cows are cute, but I don't want to look like one (even with the long, lovely eyelashes they have!) That made me laugh though! Watch out for those crisps, they don't take up much space in your stomach and you don't realize you've eaten as much as you have. I have a hard time saying to to both sweet AND savory, so lucky for you, you have only half that problem!

Have a great week!

Breakfast: fruit and cereal bar
Lunch: tuna mayo sandwich (brown bread), low fat packet of crisps
Tea: baked potato ½ tin baked beans
Supper: toasted piece of brown bread on low fat cheese spread
Snacks: banana, apple, fruit juice, fruit and cereal bar
Exercise: 1 hour swim session (50 lengths)
Fizzy juice: none
Water: 5 glasses
Fruit and veg portions: 4

Despite the fact my eating plan looks like I scoffed quite a bit for some reason it doesn't feel that way. The biggest meal I had was my baked potato at tea time and that was just before I went for a swim. My fruity snacks were spread out over my working day (9-5 today *blah*) as I like having a nibble during my tea breaks. Anyway I had a fantastic session at the pool today and did 50 lengths. I usually do only breast stroke as I find front crawl tiring but I made the effort to make every second length a front crawl. My muscles were certainly getting a good work out so I hope I mange to loose some weight tomorrow again.

missprincess, I am hoping my brief brush with the crisps today is the last one for another week at least. I usually work in Bonnybridge library where there is a super market and I can buy fruit but I was in Denny today and they only had a little bakers who didn't sell fruit (only crisps and chocolate). After much consideration I reckoned the 100cal bag of crisps was the lesser of the two evils.:D I know crisps are not filling at all but I had a nice sandwich on tuna mayo as well at lunch time.:)

Yay another 1lb lighter today so that's 6.5lb lost overall. Only 1/2 a pound to go to get the first half stone off!:D

YAY!!!! Keep going!!!! I went on to the same website that you have for your ticker :D I love to have different ones. Have a GREAT DAY and drink your WATER:D

oh man Crunchie, you're doing great!.. your diet seems pretty healthy..am taking tips from you.... keep it up and we definitely need to see some before-after pics when the weight's gone ;)

Oh well I will start by putting up a photo of me before I started my weight loss campaign. Here I have one of myself in the local swimming pool. :D The other photo is me and some friends, that's me on the far right with my best friend Austen cuddling me and my skinny friend.

he-he-he. Even though you may feel like photo on the left (who does not sometimes? LOL ) you are not that far off from being gorgeous, so keep up the good work, and you'll get to show off your new self in no time!
;)

Breakfast: fruit and cereal bar
Lunch: Brown roll on chicken
Tea: wholemeal pasta, home made red pepper sauce
Supper: ½ tin lentil soup, 1 slice brown bread
Snacks: banana, Satsuma, apple
Exercise: 2 hour walk
Fizzy juice: none
Water: 2 glasses, 2 x 600ml bottle, 1 500ml bottle
Fruit and veg portions: 6

Well at night I had my nice red pepper sauce with wholemeal pasta. I decided I'd better do some exercise as my dad needed the car so no gym for me. Wound up going for a 2 hour walk so that was quite good, feet are killing me now though!

Tomorrow I think is going to wind up being a bit of a cheat day. I'm taking my little cousin and gran out for the day and we are supposed to be eating out at night so unsure what that'll bring.

Thanks for dropping in everyone! I'm sorry I haven't much time to visit other diaries this week, I hate working full time but at least I get a long lie on THursday and Saturday!

Good job Crunchie,
Your food looks very healthy. What's a Satsuma? I've heard of it, but I don't remember why. Nice job on the long walk too, that does make it enjoyable (except the hurting feet). Keep it up!

Oh. My. Goodness. I can't believe I haven't made it to your journal yet Crunchie! Don't I feel embarrased!

It looks like you're doing pretty good here though, you've already lost more than 6lbs, just make sure you keep up the work! Even on a "cheat" day, you don't have to totally let loose, so keep your cool, mkay?

Good on you for going for a two hour walk, sounds like you are doing really well, keep up the good work!:D

Argggg I checked the scales this morning and I'm 1/2 a pound heavier again! Funny because this happen round about this time last week too how weird.

I'm at work til lunch today and then I'm away out with my cousin, mum and gran so I'll be walking about most of the time. To ensure I don't go too mad I'm having a healthy breakfast and lunch at least and we're going to have tea as early as possible and then go swimming at night so maybe I'll be able to get the 1/2 pound off again.:D I'll be sure to have something light for supper as well.

Looking great Crunchie. Weight is going to fluctuate (in both directions unfortuanately regardless). Try to not let it get to you and keep up the great work. you are doing awesome with exercise which i personally think is the key to this whole losing thing!! great job. enjoy your swim!
