MoonGoddess's Path

Hey Moon.

Haven't talked atcha in awhile. Glad to hear your keeping busy and planted all those flowers. I bet they will look really nice. And all the fresh coats of paint. It will all look so nice for spring.

The scale has been very interesting for me too lately. It seems if I treat myself to one burrito from Chipotle or something, it goes up like 4lbs.... I know I know, :nopity: Poor poor me. lol.

take care,
Sam

Hey MOOOOOOOOOOOOOONY,

every scale will give you a different reading.Anyway you know your doing good and thats all the matters.Have a nice day Tammy

Hey all.. I'm having computer issues at home & busy as a bee at work. Sorry I haven't been on much.

Hope everyone is doing great & that I get things worked out soon with my PC...or I will flip out! Argh!

:D

Hey Moon,

Hope things are alright. I was having computer issues a week or so ago, so I know that can be a bummer when trying to post on this site.

PS I know you've been reading some helpful books lately. I just started reading one myself. It's called "Happiness Now" and it's by Robert Holden. I don't know if it's any good or very helpful yet (my friend recommended it to me, so that's why i'm reading it). I guess we will see...

Hey you - I hope you resolve your comp issues soon or at least get less busy at work so you can drop by:):):) I hope all has been going well.

Hey Moon, hope things are going well in your neck of the woods!! I know how things can get when the puter isn't working right and everything at work keeps you moving!! Keep with the flow and pop in and give us the latest and greatest when everything gets back to normal.
Hugs to ya!
Kim

ah life is flying by...

we are hiring a lot around here lately, which is keeping me on my toes along with getting ready to take the exam for my PHR..ug. Stressful. But it will have me certified in what I am doing anyway & hopefully get me a raise or a chance at a better job somewhere else if I leave. Just have to get through the prep course & the four hour exam.

I haven't been the greatest in exercise, but I did make it to Ripley's aquarium this past weekend & ended up walking all over the place afterwards so I made it to over 10,000 steps again.

Yet again I have fallen off the SELF challenge wagon. The online stuff just stinks. I need to try & start it up again for myself, but I just keep putting other things first.

Hope all is well & hopefully I will be back more.

Thanks for checking in on me & hopefully the scales are rewarding you all.

::grabs moonie's hand::

::pulls her back onto the self challenge bandwagon::

the food diary there is idiotic... so don't bother - the challenge is really about challenging yourself to get in some workouts on a weekly basis... you are doing that... so what if you aren't recording them...

Ok.

Focus is lost & must be found. Which is why I must get back on here more & get my butt in gear. The exam is important, but so is my heath. I admit I haven't been working out this week. We readjusted the meds so part is lack of energy from that, part is studying & stressing & the time change & part is I am a slack arse who needs to get rid of the excuse factory & be accountable to myself & just DO IT already.

So tracking calories, wearing the pedometer & I will work out tonight PRIOR to starting to study. Tomorrow I have off so I'm hoping to get in some yard work & maybe paint the back door, so thats added movement.

Reality time. I'm gaining not losing & its only partially to blame on side effects of the pills.

healthy me...take two (or whatever round of starting over this is!).

ah Mondays.

I hate Mondays. End of the weekend, start of the work week.

Ended up getting my flower garden planted fully this weekend & pretty much not a lot else done. Which was great, but I should have worked out.

I am also officially sick of trying to plan meals for two people, when one of them hates everything but meat, bread, rice, corn, & potatoes. Can we PLEASE have some veggies jeez!

Its 3 pm & I am stuck to this desk again. Right now I want to go walk on the treadmill & have the energy to do it, but I am stuck here AGAIN for 2 more hours. Wish I could save the energy & use it later....why doesn't Tupperware make a canister for that?

you need to read that book by jerry seinfeld's wife :) she's got a cookbook about sneaking vegetables into food... Not exactly a good idea for kids as it teaches them to like the sneak foods andnot appreciate vegetables -but for cute marines it might work :D

How about some nice grilled zucchini, eggplant, or other stuff - it's grilling - grilling is manly - and grilled eggplant is quite beefy :)

I made some tater tots the other day (ones that sneakily were made from peas, carrots & potatoes)...he ate them & said they tasted funny. I told him they were dyed to make kids like them & that was why they were in alphabet shapes. Didn't work. He hated them.

I made just have to start fixing for myself & he can get all the taco bell he wants....course that makes me want a bean burrito!

I know I want to offer him a quarter for each bite of a new vegetable he will try! So silly.

For such a MANLY man, you'd think he wouldn't be such a brat about food.
