Thanks so much ladies! Sorry for the absence, I'm about to do it again and be gone Friday & Saturday, maybe even Sunday. It's been the craziest week, but I'll survive, and I've even managed to exercise (even if I didn't manage to totally swear off the french fries or the desserts - I didn't totally blow my calorie allottment, although I didn't exactly come in under 1950 either). For the past couple of days I've been pretty good with the food intake, not too much, not too unhealthy, but last night I went for a run with my best friend and I always push myself harder w/ her (we don't live in the same town or we'd still be workout partners) and I'm in some pain today. Then, of course, bad girls that we are, we ate french fries and bread pudding, but at least we shared, right? So if I'm lucky, that was a wash, if I'm not I'm a few calories up from where I need to be. I also did the power yoga on Monday or Tuesday, and it was really hard! I had a pain that just got worse from running yesterday! I feel like such an old lady now! I'll live, I just want to whine.
As for this weekend, I'm planning to hike 20 miles (literally) because I'm hiking the canyon in Friday, out Saturday. I've done this at least 5 times so far and it's wonderful, it's my favorite thing to do. My goal this time is not to use that as an excuse to completely overeat, although it will genuinely require more calories, I think I can make smarter choices than I have in the past. I'll definitely be drinking my water there!
