Ok Where Are Ya Girlfriend!! Its Magic Monday Lets Rock Them Scales !!
 
Hi all! Thanks for the support! I was swamped this morning and couldn't check in 'til now. I didn't do too badly this weekend, although I didn't work out, and I ate a little too much between Sat & Sun because my sleep was screwed up and I was more or less eating to stay awake. Bad excuse, I know. But I don't feel like I was completely out of control. I tried to make the bad choices as minimally bad as possible. Plus I'm completely back on track now, and just popping in here to get a little extra motivation to go jogging right now. I REAAAAAAAAALLY don't want to, but I think I have to. I'm eating my yogurt right now, and then I think I'll put some gloves on and brave the wind. Also, admittedly, I've been bad about the water. I'm trying, I swear, but I always forget to drink. I don't drink soda more than one or two times a week, and I never drink my calories (no juice, no sugary drinks), but I still can't manage to remember to drink water! Except now, I'm drinking water now.

Glad you are back on track today. Put the weekend behind you and lets move on. Did ya go jogging?
 
Yes I did, thank you very much! 30 minutes of slightly more jogging than walking, but pretty darn close to half & half. I'll try to improve the averages from there, but that wind sucked so much and I was having some underwear difficulties (I'm sure nobody wanted to know that, but it's my diary, so there you go!) and I didn't want to run past the tire repair store because those guys are never working and I don't want them shouting "run faster" and that crap at me. Don't they have anything better to do? I used to run past them last fall & hated it.
Going to get another glass of water right now, I'm only at about 20 oz, but I'll start pounding them now!

Sounds like you are doing GREAT:D You have got the attitude and your pushing even though you dont wanna. Keep it up and keep on posting. HAve a good one and be like Nike & "JUST DO IT";)

lol.. No I dont think they have anything better to do.. The one I have here the men are alway's standing around waiting for us women to walk/run by!! Hope you managed to get some more water in!! I really can't stand to drink water either.. but I made a trip to walmart today to stock up on the crystal light.. Have you tried that?? I like the crystal light but everytime i mix it with water.. I alway's feel like I'm cheating on my diet where it tastes alot better then regular water!

Thanks so much ladies! Sorry for the absence, I'm about to do it again and be gone Friday & Saturday, maybe even Sunday. It's been the craziest week, but I'll survive, and I've even managed to exercise (even if I didn't manage to totally swear off the french fries or the desserts - I didn't totally blow my calorie allottment, although I didn't exactly come in under 1950 either). For the past couple of days I've been pretty good with the food intake, not too much, not too unhealthy, but last night I went for a run with my best friend and I always push myself harder w/ her (we don't live in the same town or we'd still be workout partners) and I'm in some pain today. Then, of course, bad girls that we are, we ate french fries and bread pudding, but at least we shared, right? So if I'm lucky, that was a wash, if I'm not I'm a few calories up from where I need to be. I also did the power yoga on Monday or Tuesday, and it was really hard! I had a pain that just got worse from running yesterday! I feel like such an old lady now! I'll live, I just want to whine.

As for this weekend, I'm planning to hike 20 miles (literally) because I'm hiking the canyon in Friday, out Saturday. I've done this at least 5 times so far and it's wonderful, it's my favorite thing to do. My goal this time is not to use that as an excuse to completely overeat, although it will genuinely require more calories, I think I can make smarter choices than I have in the past. I'll definitely be drinking my water there!

i LOVE to hike, esp. if the scenery is pretty! Not much pretty in Texas these days...so dry and yellow. Although a strange thing I noticed around here is some of the trees had not only left over red and brown leaves, but brand new buddings as well...all on one tree! as if to say 'hey it never got cold enough to really lose these guys, but HI! summer! Its gonna hit the 80s today again. crazy days for sure. AZ is one beeeutiful place, my son got to visit with his grandpa during Christmastime. Im glad he got to see it!

Hey! I hope you are having fun on your hiking trip! I have a question for ya when you get back. After you broke your leg, did your heel hurt when you finally started putting weight on your leg again?
