Hey missprincess sorry you're having to cut your leisure time down a bit I hope you're still getting to do the things you like best. I'll make it my mission to find out how many calories are in a mouse for you!

I reckon we'd all loose loads of weight if we were snakes and just ate 1 mouse every week. That might be a bit minging though!:eek:
 
HOLY! A marathon! :eek: That's impressive. Even half a marathon is impressive MissPrincess. I can't even run down the street without starting to wheez!! Wow. Whatever you decide (half or full), we'll be cheering you on. :)

MissP - that 201 is terrific!!

And a marathon!! Woo Hoo!! Good for you :D I can't even contemplate the half marathon - but then, I'm a walker, not a runner ;) And I absolutely agree about having a buddy - my walking buddy has been gone for two weeks now, and won't be back until 10 August - it is TOUGH!

Go miss P!!!! I am with ya in the running arena! Only I like to run alone. With to little gals jabbering in my ear most of the day, then my hubbie...ugh I love the solitude! Only problem is a get a little freaked out when I am on a country road by myself. I always carry my cell phone...in fact I think I automatically cradle my right hand when I run as if carrying my phone (lol)! I ran a few races about 10 years ago did an 8 k as my longest. I loved it and always wanted to try to do more...maybe next year!!! Your doing awesome!
 
Hi Ladies!

I want to thank every one of you for all of the kind words of encouragement you're always offering. I regret to say that I have to leave the forum because I just can't manage all of the things in my life right now, so I'm doing a little "house cleaning" of my commitments. When I clean out some mental clutter, I hope to make room again for this wonderful forum and your reassuring kindness! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Don't worry, I'm still counting calories and I've just started running again this week, I was severely ill for 2 weeks and could barely walk, let alone run. Alas, my illness didn't lock my jaw too, so I had a little backwards momentum, but I'm back to my 6 mile walk/run this week (on at least 4 days a week) and I feel like I'll be below 200 in a couple of weeks. Take care of yourselves, and whenever you feel like jumping off the wagon, please imagine I'm there giving you one of my nutritional or activity level lectures. I can still lecture in spirit! ;)

Aw, I'm going to miss you :( I understand the need to sort stuff out, I had to do so myself a short while ago... I hope you come back to us once everything is in order for you, and good luck with your continuing progress!
 
I'm gonna miss you too. :( Awwwh. I know how life sometimes can get to you. Come back when you can or just to pop in to say hello and let us know you're doing alright. *huggles* So don't be a stranger. Good luck with your weight loss and much success with anything you do. *hugs*
