Thank you!! I just wish they would have smiled in these pictures, I really don't understand why they always have to look so tough, drives me nuts!! I hope prom pictures turned out good. I'm really looking forward to seeing those.
 
Yeah, I guess so, One of them was certainly putting on the tough act this weekend, as he lost the tie to his tux, ugggg, it cost me 20.00 stupid dollars for that thing. I was pissed to say the least, I didn't say to much to him yesterday. He's the one that loses everything!! Nickel and dime, Nickel and dime that's all I have to say right now. :eek:

Okay, just in case I don't have time to post before I head to the gym. Here are a list of my food items today.:

Breakfast:
Coffee- 16oz, tsp sugar white, 2 tsp fat free cream
24 mini shredded wheat bisquits
1% Milk 1C

Lunch:
Healthy Choice soup (chicken & Rice)


Snack:
Green Apple-medium

Dinner:
2 fajita flour tortilla's
2 cups of black beans
1/4 cup of shredded jack, pepper cheese
1/2 cup tomatoes
1/2 cup lettuce
Salsa to taste

about 50 oz of water so far

It worked out to be just about 1200 calories off the calculator I used. Plus I'm doing my 1 hour of groove, which burns approx 250-300 calories.
 
Well, I over did it again at the gym last night, I can't just go in for a groove class I have to burn more than that or I don't feel worthy. I went on the bike before groove and in 30 minutes I biked 8 miles, it said on the screen that I burned 500 calories, YEAH whatever, not sure how accurate that was, but I know I was soaked after the ride and it felt good. What I can't believe is that i was able to go into Groove for an hour and bust butt in there still and not stop. It was a great feeling. She introduced 3 new tracks (songs) and moves it was awesome, one is an old Swing dance and the other was a 70's Donna summers "Last Dance", YEAH!! I can't recall the 3rd track right now, oh well. It's a blast, they play 4 tracks (songs) first 30 minutes All FAST, FAST paced a lot of kicks and jumping and hip shaking. Then 4 more tracks for the last 30 minutes, in which the last track is a cool down. It's so much fun I almost wish they had it everyday! :( I know it's this class that finally boosted my metabolism, I keep telling myself I need to lose another 30, But I'm getting this feeling after another 20 I might not want to go any further, since i've been working out at the gym faithfully for the past year, I think I've just built a lot of muscle and I'm going to be surprised that I'm not going to look good, getting down to 138-142, like I was hoping for. I'll just play it by ear, and when I think I look good for myself, I'll stop the losing and start the maintaining. I want to look healthy, not skinny. I just want to wear a cute pair of jeans and not have that little muffin top. HAHAHAHAHA :D I can't wait, I wish another 3 weeks have gone by so I can see the results now. LOL LOL Damn I'm so inpatient. One of my major flaws, or BIG flaws I think. Talk to you later!!

Kim, I really like your post--and I feel the same way. It's torture to be so close to my goal, only to have my weight tease me by going up and down and up and down.....
You are going above and beyond. That's what's going to make you lose the weight--I have been going to the gym for 6 years, and I only lose weight when I push myself, especially with weights, and watch what I eat. Thanks for all the nice compliments!

You know I love reading your diary everyday and sometimes twice. HAHA I've been lazy in the past years with my eating habits, I would usually eat whatever I felt like eating, no holds back. Granted I never over ate, I just would eat pasta if I wanted them or ice cream once a week, I just didn't watch the calories. NOW..... It's a whole new ball game, I watch my calories BIG TIME, and guess what? It works. HAHAH I really LOVE ALL FOOD, even the nasty stuff most people won't touch, like brussel sprouts and liver and onions. LOL LOL just to name a few. I love all that stuff, so eating is easy for me, I just hate shopping all the time. I'm hoping my garden supplies me with plenty tomatoes and cucumbers and peppers this year, so far so good, I'm crossing my fingers. I can just eat most veggie RAW, usually they don't make it to the house.
 
I'm a big fan of raw food--I did raw foods for 3 months straight--boy was that a trip! I like to eat 60-80% raw food every day, but I don't actually make it all the time. It's so good for you! Glad you like my journal!
 
This is just one strange day! I have no appetite at all, nothing sounds good. Currently I'm drinking a hot cup of fresh made flavored coffee, it's not bad. But I should actually be snacking on my apple or something else, NO DESIRE! I'm sure it means by 5 I'll be starving and want to scarf down whatever I can find in the fridge. But, Don't worry you guys, I WON'T DO IT~~ I promise. I think I'll have some more Black bean wraps like I had last night, I just love those! Another odd thing today, my kahkis feel real baggy, Probably looks like I'm carrying a load in my pants from the back side. I rarely wear clothes that sag, but like so many others have posted on thier diarys, who wants to go spend money on clothes, when they might need another size down in another month, such a waste of money. Oh well, summer is coming fast and I'll spend most my time in shorts, boy shorts probably. I'm so glad they came out with those boy short underwear and less on the thong stuff. I just love those suckers!! now, I'm starting to get personal, better get back on track. No gym tonight, it's my night off. Probably a good thing, I'm tired, didn't sleep to good last night for some reason. What I ate today:

Bowl of shredded wheat
1c 1% milk
coffee- 12oz

Healthy Choice soup
5 animal crackers.

Boy, I need to eat something really good tonight, this just doesn't seem good. :rolleyes:

I know what you mean. Normally, I daydream about delicious food (well, and sex) all day...I look forward to every meal! But very rarely, sometimes, nothing sounds good. It is a MOST uncomfortable feeling, indeed! but it always passes;)
 
Your group groove class sounds like so much fun! I wish we had something like that around here...But that's what you get when you live in the middle of nowhere.

You are still doing a great job(like that's a suprise). Have a great nights sleep and a super morning tomorrow.
 
I actually got about 6 1/2 hours of sleep last night, so not bad for me. I ate well, but I need to stay away from those black beans for a few days, I just love them so much!! My husband stopped by Sam's club last night and picked up a big bag of carrots, mmmmm I brought 3 to work with me this morning, my mouth is now drooling. :eek: I had my normal bowl of cereal this morning with 1% milk, YUM and I'll be having tomato soup for lunch, also YUM!! Tonight it's back to the gym, for grooving and maybe some elliptical, it just all depends on my mood, sometimes I like to change it up a bit and do the bike or the butt buster (step climber) it just all will be determined once I finish groove class. When I get home tonight I need to figure out how to add drivers to the computer in one of my sons rooms as it went up the other day and I had to reinstall XP Pro, uggg, somehow the graphic driver is missing and it looks like crap. That's what happens when my son shuts down the computer without closing the programs it got screwed up. Oh well, what's new another day and another 100.00 dollars. HAHAHAHA well, I'm still hoping it's not going to cost that much, but I'll know once I price them out. Well, I better get moving, I need to finish my cup of java before it gets cold, I HATE COLD/WARM coffee. YUK!! and double YUK!:p
 
Hi Kim! I'm finally getting by a few more diaries to say hi and welcome. You are really doing great after such a long period of frustration and stalled weight loss! Congratulations on continuing with working out throughout!

I enjoyed reading your diary and could relate to some of your comments about your sons. Teenagers can drive ya loonie sometimes! BTW...Your boys are good-looking guys! Long hair is back in. :) I have a son who is a senior in HS too....only a couple more months until graduation! :D

Thanks Bethann for stopping by, I know how hard it is to visit everyones diary there are so many good ones out there! I could spend all day reading them. AND AMEN to the graduation in a few weeks, I'm so ready, you have no idea! They are pretty good boys I really can't complain, but one of them is exactly like me and we butt heads all the time. :D He's the strong willed one. They are the reason I'm were I'm at today, I owe it to those boys, they kept me strong, when I didn't think I would make it. I hope they learned by my mistakes and take that with them in thier lives. :)
 
Well I know it's late, but I finally got the extra computer in the house up and running and damn it I'm going to take advantage of this situation. I did go to the gym tonight and got my groove on for an hour. FUN, FUN, FUN!! I came home fixed up the puter and then WELLA decided to get online and post in my diary. Let's see today I ate the following items:

1C cereal
1C 1% milk
12 oz hot coffee, mmmm 2tsp sugar and 2tbs fat free cream

Lunch
Carrots
Tomato soup, mmmmm

Snack
6 animal crackers

Dinner
2 oz of shredded beef,mmmm
1 small tortilla
2 oz pepper jack cheese
2 Small corn on the cobs.

Water, water, water!!
Now I'm full and satisfied and TIRED! will probably try to read a few new diary's and hit the hay. Hope everyone had a good day, mine wasn't too bad at all.
