Good DAY!

Okay, After my rant yesterday, my day ended well. I went to the gym after work and rode 7 miles on the bike, then I took that group groove class for an hour, and I was pleasantly surprised that both of my favorite girlfriends showed up for the class for the first time with me, YIPPY SKIPPY, that was just too much!! After class, me and my girl Robin went upstairs to the walking track and did a fast pace walk for about 2 miles. I really wanted to run it, but she has really bad shin splints and isn't able to and I wanted to spend some time talking, so I didn't. I'll do the run next time around. :) Quality time with friends is a key ingredient to a happy lifestyle!! After we were done, we spent some time BSing with the instructor of the group groove class and we looked up at the clock and went OUCH! It's 8:15, better head home and make sure the hubby knows I still love him. :rolleyes: I'm truly blessed as my husband is so sweet, we spend time every night talking about the day, then we watch a little boob tube together and head to bed. You know he got me hooked on CSI Vegas and Criminal Minds, LOVE THEM! Well, that's about all for now my friends, I'm at work and my oatmeal is getting cold, need to feed the greed of my inner stomach, it's started to grumble and I think it's getting pissed. Whooooooo! I'm impressed--7 miles and groove class and girl friends? Sounds like an excellent way to end a day! Especially one that wasn't so gret to start. Love your energy! Have a great day today, too! :)

I can hardly wait for my littlest child to become a proficient walker(and stop putting everything in her mouth) so we can get out a lot more.
Not to mention I moved here almost three years ago and the only people I really know are the ones who go to our little church. In other words, I need some girlfriends here.

At least I have you ladies:)...and some guys here, too...can't leave them out:p

I wish you lived closer too, I would pull your buns out to my gym and walk with you, oh and they offer *free* child care to all members. I think you would love this group groove class! Hey, when my sons were toddlers I opened up a daycare of my own downtown in NY, It was awesome, and with my 3yr olds I would do a Preschool program, which happend to include dance, we got in this BIG Square I had on one of the carpets and we danced a ton of different dances girl, they loved it and I swear I lost weight doing it. I'm a long ways away from those days, as now I'm a Brokerage Manager for a investment firm. LOL LOL what happend to me?? LOL LMAO!!! Those were fun days.

Okay, I'm up and it's early, but I'm ready to go!! I usually take Wed off as far as my work out goes, but switched with yesterday instead so I could enjoy a nice dinner with one of my girlfriends, and besides my Aunt FLOW has come by and she doesn't leave for another two days, so I wasn't in the mood to jump around in class anyways. Well, I thought for sure I was going to blow my calories for yesterday, but I think MAYBE, just MAYBE I Only went over by about 200 if that. Which would put me at 1700 for the day, NOT BAD. We went out for Mexican food, which I ordered my usual Chicken fajitas. Mmmmmm, Except for the two corn tortillas and the two flour tortillas I did great, I Always switch the refried beans for "steamed beans" and I still barely touched those, I usually have about 10-12 chips, and dip in salsa. I had ONLY WATER, but I loaded up on the chicken, onions and peppers my favorite. NO sour cream or guac, so I think I'm fine, weird though, I'm still feeling guility, WHAT THE HELL???? I did go home and watch Tori & Dean Inn Love, LOL LOL What a fricken funny ass show. Don't you just love reality. LMAO!!! After 30 minutes of laughing my butt off, I joined my wonderful hubby in bed for some cuddle time. Then about 10 minutes later, I was out like a light. But, today is a fresh new start and I have group groove tonight and I'm going to try and either run a few miles or do the elliptical a few miles, either way I'm going to burn about 600-700 calories tonight, and eat light as usual. Well, I better get going I have a lot to get started on. HAPPY DAY EVERYONE!!

Well, this is my final post for the day, I'm getting ready to head over to the gym. I had a pretty good day. Here is a list of my current food intake:

Breakfast
1C 1% milk
1C shredded mini wheats

Lunch
Can/ Healthy Choice chicken noodle soup

snack
Medium Green Apple

And a few (4) chips dipped in salsa from "On the Border" those darn people stopped by our office today, to drop off a whole bag of chips and salsa, so that we can see what were missing and start using them for catering purposes. Hey, I did good I only had 4, and no cheese sauce. :D
I might have eaten a total so far today of 650 Calories!

Dinner,
I have no idea, but I can assure you it will be less than 700 -800 calories.
OH AND WATER, WATER, WATER!!

I dance with my girls pretty often. We have the soundtrack to Shark Tale and it has fun, upbeat songs on it. They keep me dancing even when I want to pass out...lol...so much fun and such a great work out.

Have fun in your group groove class. Why don't you groove enough for both of us so I can take a nap:p

I had a great work out last night. Groove class for 1 hour, I think I burned about 350 calories in that class. I also rode the elliptical for 30 minutes went about 4 miles, it said I burned 405 calories, so I felt good about that. I went home through together a nice chicken breast/pasta/rotel blend and mmmmm was it good. That was the first time in about 3 weeks I have had any pasta at all. And I only had maybe 1/2 cup of the pasta, I pulled most of the grilled chicken out instead. YUMMY!! Today I'm ready to go again. I've had a small bowl of cereal with my 1% milk, I'm currently finishing up my first cup of coffee, and then I'm going to get started on work. It's just gorgeous outside and my office contains a huge window in the front so I can see the blue sky outside and it's driving me nuts!! I want to be out planting and doing yard work, oh well, hopefully the pretty weather will stick around through the weekend. Tonight, I think I'm going to try to run on the track at they gym, that has always bored me, but I think I'll give it another try, since now I know I can actually run a few miles without stopping. HAHAH Well, talk to you later. got to work bye

Tgif!!!!!

YEAH, it's gorgeous outside and all I want to do is be home hanging out with my friends and enjoying a glass of good wine. Maybe it will be a good work day and I can get out of here a few hours early, I usually do on Fridays. Tonight is group groove and I'm so looking forward to it, I can't wait. I did well yesterday, I ate Good and workout pretty hard at the gym. I hope all this eating good and workout hard pays off on Monday when I finally weigh in. I've made this lifestyle change 3 weeks ago, so far only 6 lbs down. I really need to see something good on the scale this week to keep me motivated, after last weeks disappointing 1/2 pound loss. YUK! Well, I guess I should never weigh in the day before Aunt Flow shows up, that was rather stupid on my end. Oh well, live and learn. I better get hopping, I want to get this day of work DONE! Talk to everyone later

thats still pretty awesome. you are averaging two pounds a week :) if you carry on you'll be down two stone in under two months.

HEY--don't be frustrated, and stay patient--after your period it is likely your weight may drop dramatically! Everybody's different, but it always is that way for me and I hope you see it too! Stay strong and keep up the hard work! IT WILL PAY OFF!

LMAO, LMAO!! Girlfriend, that was good!! I'm here, barely I have a lot of running around to do today. I don't get online much on the weekends, I pack them full of outdoor fun if I can. I work all week long, so it's really the only time I have to enjoy anything outside of work and the gym. You just made my day. AS ALWAYS!! thank Tif!!:D
