walking the ipod!

ha ha funny walking the ipod! I walked my ipod to work today, and pretty much anywhere I walk. Can't leave home without it. I also like to walk the ipod and take the dog along for fun!!! Congrats on being in the best shape since you were zero!:p
 
Yeah i feel the same Mike.

Hey, how long do you exercise when you bike? like time wise. Is is mostly flat? hilly? bot of both?
 
Mike- what kind of bike to you have? I am looking at getting either a cannondale or a felt. the felt feels better, and they have the same drivetrain- shimano 205s.

fatguytri, I have an '06 trek 1200... I just got into the sport this year but I do plan on upgrading some components next year....

multigrain cheerios, blueberries... wasn't nearly filling enough!

Today I caught a terrible cold from the air conditioning system at work. My office was at 11 degrees C today(if my math is correct that's around 50 F)... even wearing 2 sweaters couldn't keep me warm. No exercise tonight, just trying to break my fever :(
 
Ohh so sorry to hear that!! I'm always afraid my job will get me sick too. They crank the air up on the cold days and leave it down on the hot ones. Hope you feel better soon. Drink hot tea with honey.
 
Hope you feel better soon mike!!! It's always freezing in my office, to the point that customers complain and my hands have trouble typing! That's what happens when ya work with two middle aged women having hot flashes all frigin day!!! I shouldn't say that, that might be me in ummmm 25-30yrs.
 
i like my office keeping it cooler, it raises my metabolism by having to warm up my body lol.
If it gets to cold i just put on my jacket.
 
so I've been doing a bit more research and I think I'm going to start eating more in order to lose weight. The last week or so I struggled to eat 1800 calories... but I'm beginning to realize that 1800 just isn't good enough on my active days, let alone on my lazy days.... I'm going to be trying to eat around 2100 - 2500 a day now....

in other news... still got a bit of a sore throat and some presure in my sinus' but feeling a lot better. The temp at work is a lot better today, apparently more important people complained so the air conditioner was finally shut off. grrrr
 
Oh man, you DO realize that trying to eat that much is WORK don't you? ;)

Seriously, it's good that you're recognizing that it isn't all about reducing those calories too low - and look at you - you're this [.] close to One-der-land! Losing 50 pounds AND being as active as you are is a great testiment to sensible weight control and getting fit!

Exercise
cycling (or attempt at) 12 or 13 kms in 30 minutes.... Even with all the food I ate I still have no energy to do anything, damn cold!

Still sick so this evening I've locked myself in my room armed with a carton of orange juice, snot paper lol, and nyquil. Going to bed at 7 pm for the first time since....errrr, a very long time. Hopefully tomorrow a healthier mikey will emerge...
