12 fried chicken wings = 738 (yeah I know, BAD MIKEY!)
but I balanced it off with the following lol
15 baby carrots, raw = 57

so far today 1571 (gonna have to eat something to get it to at least 1800)

had a slice of pizza = 170

Exercise

Walking briskly, 5 kms in 48 minutes

Hey Mikelikes2bike (cool name and very appropriate with all the cycling you do)

Just read through you diary, and can relate to a lot, like the traditional family dinner which I am gaining weight by just thinking of and the mulitinational companies ripping us off by selling bad scales:)
Anyway, looks to me like you are off to a great start:)
 
Yeah not to mention the old tradidion of 'you have to eat everything on your plate otherwise you're in depe sh*t'
Not that I'm blaming anyone else for me being fat - but i do try not do the same to my own kids :D

Celery & Broccoli, raw = 107
2 tbsp ranch (caloriewise) = can't remember, it's in my work fridge :)

Lasagna = 744

Exercise

None today... I'm exhausted. Relax tonight, recharge for tomorrow.
 
Wow, those lost pounds with the new scale got you even closer to your goal in no-time at all. Keep up the good work.
 
2 tbsp ranch is probably about 150-200 cal.

Good to see you give yourself a break day, some people get into it to hard out and forget that the body needs the odd rest :)

This morning I woke up feeling pretty low, no extra umph like I normally have so I made myself a small breakfast instead of a crappy begal.

Breakfast
3 eggs scrambled w/ 7 or 8 dashs of tobasco. = 300
coffee, black = 4

Snack
Yogurt = 110

Lunch

Fecal Matter otherwise known as "Chunky Soup to go" = 100
bananna =93
carrots, raw = 57
Kraft caloriewise ranch = 50 (25 calories per tbps)

Well not a fan of the sirloin burger flavour.... other soups I don't mind at all.

Afternoon Snack

2 cheeseburgers on rye bread = 650 ( rough guess)

very low, I never thought I'd say this before but I need to eat more. Like I said earlier, I'd like to be around 1800 to 2500

Exercise

Biked 8 kms, turned back due to low tires...
went fishing, walked 2 kms to get to and walk back from my favourite fishing hole.
 
hehehe well done - i get the same thing. at the beginning I never thought I would have trouble making up the calories but there have been times i have had to eat a chocolate bar just to make up some calories because im so low (besides its a nice treat once in a while)

Hi Mike. Welcome. About the labels though, they will haunt you. I look at ever single label now not matter what it is. From a stick of gum to a can of soup. If the carbs or calories are too high, then back it goes. Don't forget to drink lots of water.

Oh by the way, I've never heard of Chucky soup being referred to as "Fecal Matter." I laughed so hard I just about fell onto the floor. ;)

lol, Jodee... the thing about looking at labels I try to be nonchalant about it, hoping nobody notices. I used to roll my eyes at people looking at labels...

I'm glad to hear I made ya laugh, stay tuned... I'm sure there will be many other foods I will give new and improved names to :)

This morning I woke up early so I had time to actually cook some breakfast. Looking in the fridge I found left overs from tacos a few nights before (my roommates leftovers)

2 Tortilla wraps (whole wheat) = 217
tomato diced = 4
Lettuce = 3

lol Wishes! I would love to, but the bike ride to NZ would be a bit too hard for me at this point in time :D

The rest of the day I was a very bad boy!

For lunch some little ones came visiting us selling Bannock Burgers (it's basicaly a burger but with frybread instead of a normal bun) to make money to go to hockey school... how could I refuse?

Lunch

Then after a long day at the office I was relaxing watching television when I get invited out for steak and beer. Now I know I should have said no, my heart, my body, and my wallet even said no, but damn it all, my brain said yes...

In the name of the father son and the holy ghost... what the hell, I am no priest or even a believer, but you did make me laugh:)

But you shouldn't let one bad day ruin all the good ones you've been having, so tomorrow its back in the saddle (your bikesaddle, that is... haha, bad joke)

I went a little overboard for the last couple days, still under in the total scheme of things but its disappointing anyway :)
