I used to agree that some tatts are hot. But I too don't like the idea of them being permanent. I went through a phase right after college where I dated a guy who had 7 tattoos. I just thought he was soooo sexy in a badboy kind of way. Now that I'm a little older, married, and a mom, I don't care for them a whole lot. I just keep wondering how they will look when one is older. Kind of like these low rider trucks. Do you really think a 45-year-old would look cool cruising around town in a low-rider with music blaring? Not so much.

Anyways, it's been awhile since I dropped in. How's everything going?

I dont think age matters. I am married and also a mother, and when your old and all wrinkely I dont think you will be worried that your tatt doesnt look that great any more. Your only as old as you feel. And i deffinately dont feel my age.

IMO I don't mind a fellow with tats. Sean's tat free, but hey.... I've seen some guys at the gym that are SWEET ASS with nice sleeve tats. Yummm.... I personally like sleeve tats, I guess possibly due to traditional Polynesian tattoos. Hmmm... which by the way, really suck and hurt like shit. (Have been told that, because I'm not interested in getting a traditional tattoo whatsoever.) As long as the tattoo has meaning, then go with it. However, don't go getting a Chinese/ Japanese tattoo.... I hate seeing people who aren't Chinese/ Japanese doing that shit! Grrrrrr!! I know.. pet peeve. haha Hope your day went well, dollface.

I understand what you're saying about tattoos and being older. It may be different for men vs women in that regard. You see a 60 year old guy with some tattoos you might think one thing where as you see an 60 year old lady and you might think something totally different.

It's funny we were talking about tats, because I went to the grocery store and there was this adorable, little old lady sitting on a bench. She had to be in her 70s with her cute ass gingham top and khaki shorts. I walked passed, smiled at her, then noticed this huge ass hummingbird tat along the back of her neck! HOLY SHIT! It was an old school one... a flash design type. Wow... she must of been a wild one back in her days. Hot grammy... niiiiceeeeeee.....

So I had a dilemma yesterday when making my yahoo picks: Mich or Penn St??!! That was hard. To my surprise, most pundits have Mich as the fav. Blew my mind away. So of course, I picked Mich. Well after going a whole week without getting on my beloved scale. We were reunited this morning. After I had my way with her (yes my scale is a her) she revealed to me that I had lost 2.6 lbs this week. Needless to say "whew!' I was worried I hadn't lost. Here's my Sept Challenge update

Start Weight = 296.8
07 Sept=294.8 ( -2 lbs )
14 Sept=292.6 ( -2.2 lbs) -4.2 lbs total
21 Sept=290.0 ( -2.6 lbs) -6.8 lbs total
28 Sept=

Finish Weight =

Oh I forgot to rant about this.
So I'm splashed across our newspaper today in full color *L* The newspaper had a section in it today about local business and this reporter came by the first of the week to interview my Dad and I . The angle on us was that we are a Father and Son business . Usually the articles are pretty small and don't even have a picture. Well he had taken some pictures of us but I didn't expect it to be an entire page wide and in color *L* I coulda looked worse with all the pounds I used to have on me at least.

Well, MY team didn't have a heart attack-inducing 4th quarter!! But that was a great game with UGA and Bama. I was getting worried there at the end--but that was a cool OT catch to win the game. Glad I picked UGA to win!! Did you?? I have done so well this week with my yahoo picks--I'm 19 for 20 atm, and it looks like I'll end up 20/21 when Hawaii finishes up wasting CharlSo. Oh yeah!! This girl is beating the guys. Hell, I wasted all over all 4 of Yahoo's so called "experts" this week. I got the UGA upset, the UK upset, and the Mich "upset." We won't talk about the Syracuse upset...heeheehee
