A couple of weeks ago I did purchase a domain for myself - that I was going to use as a cooking site... I just haven't had the motivation to do anyhting with it -I have 10,000 ideas and zero desire to do anything with it.

Me giving advice.. HA - i suppose those that can - DO - those that cant -instruct others :D
 
Hey now watch it!! I was a teacher you know and they say the same things about them!! *bastards* lol. I just liked the idea of "mal's opinion all the time and if you don't like it click on one of my ads so I make money and then leave" lol ;)

I always wanted ot be Julia Child - she was a slob in the kitchen, got regularly tanked on the air and was just ahoot to watch :D
 
All great qualities in Julia Child I agree. And I love the fact that Rachel Ray uses all retro dishes and Love whoever designed her kitchen all retro! But she is just wayyyy to perky for my taste. Now Paula being from the south, cooks the way I like to eat. Lots of butter and only about half of what she cooks actually makes it to the table. "Oh, this is really good Ya'll!" I just sit mesmerized and drooling.:drool5:
 
Wasn't there some sort of show with two ladies on a moped... like in Europe or something and they traveled all over to find different kinds of food? lol they were fun to watch when I was little. My best friend said we are going to be the skinnier version of them when we "grow up" lol.
A recipe swap site would be fun. Have people come to you and post recipes and everyone shares their family recipes or whatnot. That would be cool. And maybe people could upload video demos and shopping lists!

omg it was. I swear Two Fat Ladies might be what it's called....yep I checked and that is what it was called. But it wasn't a moped it was a motorcycle with a side car for the other one. lol They were funny!!! and most likely drunk lol;)

the premise behind my site, and I know it's not original.... but it would be healthy, low calorie-ish, yet foods that are full of flavor and not your boring steamed chicken and vegetables... The idea is that food can be healthy, fun, and taste good too...

Demos, recipes, and such would be part of the site as well as recipe swaps...

Get busy woman!! Sounds like a great site! I usually troll allrecipes looking for low calorie dinners that are more than baked chicken.

I sure could use some more beef recipes. We raise our own beef so it is very very lean....but all the "low fat" recipes are chicken, chicken, chicken. ARGGG!
 
Yeah mal that sounds like a great site! (even if there is other recipe sites *grumble*) ;) There needs to be more low calorie sites for meal plans that are free for all us cheap dieters. What would be nice is an option to put the recipes together and buy them as a book for a gift or whatnot. All your favorite recipes at your fingertips:D.
