Today was day 2 of week 3 and I used my own playlist I made for the workout. There were a few things different: the regular treadmill I work on was not working so I went to the one I used to use but stopped because it would catch when I ran. This treadmill has a clock, fans, it picks up my heart rate when I am wearing the monitor, cup holders, and one touch speed control. The other treadmill is bare bones but more stable. My music didn't flow as well as I would have liked but it was still entertaining and I ran all my intervals and even added an extra one at the end!! I worked out for 40 minutes!!!
I know the program says to not jump ahead but I wanted to do some extra due to some unfortunate run ins with a pan of brownies last night (My husband is the devil btw
). So I feel good and I really only had to slow down a few times. I didn't have anyone to talk to so I tried to sing to see if I could sing a verse or so.... big mistake lol. I needed all that wind for breathing but I am happy to say that although I got out of breath a little bit overall I was able to hold a conversation/sing lol. That makes me feel good
So on Friday I will try again with the new mix I made and see how it goes. I may move some songs around but overall I have some boppy music that makes the time go faster. I must say as well that watching the clock has helped me. I see that I only have 30 seconds to go so I don't give up. That is one thing I thought would be good for the podcast is someone telling me "only 30 seconds. It's almost over. Keep going!" It's good to have that kind of feedback. It's nice to know that now I have options
