Michelle's Diary

Yeah I know what that feels like Mike...The weather is not so great for Blueberries here as well, which I'm pretty ticked about because they are my absolute fruit!!! I sure hope the grocery store still has them...I doubt it though.
Today:
Breakfast: Weight Control Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal, 1 peach
Lunch: the other half of my Subway 6 inch Sweet Onion Chicken Teriaki, shared strawberries with a friend (even though she ate most of them LOL)
Dinner: The rest of the pasta dish that my dad and I made, some green beans, pineapple (the pineapple was SO GOOD and SWEET! YUMMY!)
Exercise: I ran a little more than 2 miles in my P.E. class, today was fitness day so we were out on the track, then after school dad and I hit the gym, I did 35 minutes on the elliptical, then we did our lower body routine, then stretched. Alot of exercise today, and I am really proud of myself :)
Hope all is going well for everyone! I'm sorry I havn't stopped by any journals lately, I'm off to do that right now :)

ooooohz....yr fav fruits are abt the same as mine!

hey keep up with yr exercises! u r doing well.....hv a good evening!

Thanks alot PinkDolly!!! I have bad news everyone...My dad was trimming trees this morning and he was on a ladder, and unfortunitly he fell off the ladder and hurt his shoulder :( He insisted that he wasn't in great pain and he thinks he just bruised it really bad, but my mom and I could tell that he really was in pain, so my mom took him into the doctor this afternoon just to make sure everything is OK. He was pretty ticked off about it because he wanted to come work out with me today, but I told him to not worry about it because his health is alot more important right now. I told him that tomorrow if he is feeling up to it, we could go work out tomorrow, but he could just ride the stationary bike where he doesn't have to use his arms, and of course he wouldn't be able to do any weight training. We'll just see how he feels tomorrow and see what he wants to do, he knows his own body better then I do and he knows what he should and shouldn't do. As far as working out for me goes today, my neighbor has a stationary bike that I could go use today she's away on a hunting trip right now but she told me I could go into her house and use the bike if I wanted to, but I don't want to leave while my parents are gone just in case my mom calls, so I'll see how late they get back and just decide what to do. I just hope my dads shoulder is ok.
Breakfast: Weight Control Cinnamon Oatmeal with vanilla soymilk, 1 cup of coffee with splenda, 1 nectarine
Lunch: Peanut butter and banana sandwhich on whole wheat bread, 17 green grapes

MMMMMMMMMMMM I forgot just how delicious peanut butter and banana sandwhiches are. And they are really good for you to! Your getting whole grains, protein, and a fruit serving all in one sandwhich! I'll definitly be having those a whole lot more for lunch :)
Dinner: Probably going to have left over pizza from the other night, dad and I got round table pizza, I got a pesonalized garlic chicken pizza on the thin crust, it was REALLY good! I only ate half of it though, so I'll have the other half tonight along with some salad. Yummy :)
Have a great day everyone!

Hey everyone....Just reporting in...My dad is doing pretty well, he's able to move his shoulder alot better today, and were going to start going to the gym again on Wednesday. We can't go tomorrow because it
s my brothers birthday, and Tuesday he has an appointment to get an MRI done. I havn't been able to work out for a few days, my friend Megan came over last night and spent the night, she's going to be going home pretty soon so I'm going to ride my neighbors stationary bike soon after she leaves. As far as eating I've still been really good, I'm saving myself for cake and ice cream tomorrow LOL.
Today:
Breakfast: Weight Control Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal, 1 cup of coffee with sweet N'low, 1 peach
Lunch: Going to Subway, probably going to get a turkey sandwhich on wheat
Dinner: Most likely going to have leftover pizza with a salad

Have a great day everyone!

Oh lordie, I feel so awful, I totally stuffed myself tonight. Today is my brothers b-day so we went out for dinner tonight. I started off the day really good, I had oatmeal for breakfast and healthy chouce soup and grapes for lunch, but at dinner everything completely went downhill. I ordered the salmon with basmati rice and steamed brocoli, which was very good. BUT, I also had some cheesebread, some french fries (my grandma got this HUGE plate of fries!) some of my moms caesar salad, then when we went home I had a big piece of chocolate cake and coffee ice cream. UGHHH, I have no clue why I do this to myself. I always regret it when I binge, so why can't I just stop it? Whenever I have one thing bad it always ends up being a "free for all". I hate it. I definitly plan on getting back on the straight arrow tomorrow, NO MORE binging, not EVER again!

Hi WLC, sorry about your dad but very glad he's doing better.

And don't let a rough night get you down. It happens to the best of us, just work on it tomorrow. And when it comes time to deal with the bingeing again, remember you can have anything you want to but just a little. Easy said than done sometimes - I know, it's one of my bad habits too.

Happy birthday to your brother - the cake & ice cream sound tasty!!

Thanks alot Peguin, I really appreciate that, and you are absolutly right. In the last couple of days I have picked myself up from by binging and am eating normally again. Today my dad and I went to Bally Total Fitness, we both did a 40 minute cardio workout, he did the stationary bike, I did the elliptical (have I mentioned how much I LOVE that machine??) I did a lower body workout, he didn't because he is unable to use his right arm from his accident falling off the ladder. Hope everyone has had a great day!
Today:
Breakfast: Mum surprised me by making me an egg over whole wheat toast this morning, I put some salsa on it and had some strawberries with it. It was YUMMY!
Lunch: Healthy Choice Country Vegetable soup, 17 green grapes
Dinner: homemade meatloaf (YUMM!) half of a baked potato with smart balance butter, fruit plate with a little bit of watermelon, strawberries, and blueberries. An overall very yummy and very healthy day :)

Looks like a great day!! Glad you're feeling better about the other night and glad to hear you're back on track. Sounds like you killed at the gym.. woohoo!!

Thanks Peguin!! Ok everyone, I know I started a new diary, but I changed my mind again and decided to stick with this old one. Theres really no point in starting a new diary lol. Sorry I havn't been here in so long everyone, I've just been very busy with school and working out, etc. I'm going to try harder to report as often as I can and to post in other diaries more. Todays my day off from exercising so I have more time to do all that today :)
Breakfast/Brunch: Breakfast buttito with scrambled egg, sausage, onion, tomato, salsa, and a whole wheat, low fat tortilla
Snack: Probably going to have an apple if I get hungry later
Dinner: Homemade chicken noodle soup
