Thanks M2M :). My dad and I are actually going to start working out at the gym tomorrow, on Wednesday we just basically registered and made an appointment for our first workour with our personal trainier. I'm really exited to start tomorrow!! Today I ran around the school track 10 times (it was fitness day in P.E. and we had to run 9 times in order to get an A), but didn't do anything else after that because my dad and I had a few errands to run and plus I had homework. The weather was really warm here to, so double the sweat LOL. But I really am looking forward to tomorrow :)

Breakfast: Weight Control Quaker Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal w/ vanilla soymilk, 1 medium peach
Lunch: Healthy Choice Pot Roast soup, 17 grapes, strawbery flavored dasani (those things are WICKED GOOD)
Dinner: 6 inch Turkey sandwhich w/ mustard, tomato, pickles, lettuce, and red onion from Subway, 1 medium necterine.

there it is... grrrrr lol Really though, I think it's fantastic that you and your pop are hitting the gym together. Have fun tomorrow!
 
I'm not jealous of the trainer... I'm jealous of the dad working out part! lol.. wish my dad would be that health conscious. It's great that you have a workout buddy, good luck!
 
Thanks alot guys!! I really appreciate the encouragement and support. Well yesterday was our first "workout", our personal trainier had us do a cardio warm-up, then he walked us through some lower body workouts, it actually wasn't a "workout" per say, because he was just basically talking us through some moves and they were only for a short amount of time, but hey we need to learn this stuff before we actually do it lol. The trainier was really confusing me though, he had kind of a hard time explaining how to do things and what to say, and were going to meet up with him again today, so hopefully today will go a little bit better lol. Oh by the way I got on the scale this monring and it said I weighed in at 122.6 pounds! YAY!! Now I don't know if all this weight thats coming off is water or muscle weight, but I really don't think do, I think it's all "fat" weight LOL. WOOHOO I'm really happy!
Breakfast: 3/4 cup honey nut cheerios w/ vanilla soymilk, i peach, coffee w/ splenda
Lunch: Gonna probably going to have an egg over toast with some salsa and grapes
Dinner: Were going out to a mexican restaurant today, I'm going to splurge a little and get either the chicken or shrimp quasideas, those really aren't bad at all as long as I don't overdue it...lol. It'd be better if they had some whole wheat tortilles, but if they don't thats perfectly fine, I'm allowed to splurge a little :) Have a great day everyone!
 
Thanks Dariqueen! I'm very proud of myself for that :). Well my dad's and my second workout went really good today, first our trainier had us do an 8 minute warm-up doing cardio, then he had us do an upper body workout, then stretches. Then my dad and I kind of "played" around with some of the cardio machines, just to see how they worked. It was really fun! Tomorrow is going to be a day off, my mom and I are going shopping and my dad and brother are going to be watching football, so were going to start up again on Monday. I can't wait to REALLY get started!
 
Hey everyone! Sorry I havn't been posting lately, working out and doing homework has really kept me on my toes LOL. Well dad and I have been going to Bally Total Fitness lately, and my dad has been doing VERY well with his eating habits and working out. Yesterday and today he stayed on the eliptical for 1 half hour! I'm very very proud of him! Today I also stayed on the eliptical for a half hour then we did an upper body workout, then stretched. Tomorrow were going to do cardio for a half hour then were going to hit the pool and sauna! I'm most likely going to do laps in the pool, just to put some variety in my workout.

Breakfast: 3/4 cup Honey Bunches Of Oats, 2 watermelon slices
Lunch: Some of my moms homemade stew, some rasberries (YUMMY)
Dinner: Some steak, 1 baked potato with 1 tablespoon of Smart Balance butter, some greenbeans, 17 grapes
 
Thanks PinkDolly! Well my dad and I went to the gym again today, we both did 30 minutes on the eliptical. But before that I also ran the track at school in my P.E. class today! Felt really proud of myself for that...We didn't do any strength training today because we both did a "free day" where we went and played some basketball, then did a little swimming in the pool and hottub. My dad and I decided that every Friday were going to do a "free day". Were going to be going out of town tomorrow through Sunday so we won't be able to hit the gym, but theres going to be a pool in the hotel were staying at and plus theres a "cardio" room, so theres going to be plenty of opportunities to get a good workout in.

Breakfast: Weight Control Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal, 1 small apple
Lunch: Bought a chicken patty sandwhich and had 2 honeydew melon slices, (YUMM!)
Snack: 1 necterine
dinner: Steak stir-fry with 2 watermelon slices (the stir-fry turned out absolutly YUMMY!!!!)
 
Wish i can go for short holiday too.... guess will hv to wait till Nov/Dec.:(

Hey everyone!!! I'm using the hotel computer right now, but I just wanted to say that I hope everyone has an awesome weekend and I hope everyone is doing great!!
Yesterday: Weight Control Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal, 1 small apple
Lunch: Steak stir-fry with 17 grapes
Dinner: Went out to dinner, I had a salad with ranch dressing (no more then one tablespoon, they put WAY to much dressing if you don't order it off to the side), and salmon with steamed brocoli. They didn't even put ANY butter on the brocoli or salmon, they put it off to the side so you can put how much of it you want in. I REALLY wish other restaurants would do this!
Today so far;
Breakfast:Wheaties with vanilla soymilk, 8 medium strawberries, 1 cup of coffee with sweet N'Low
Lunch: Were probably going to go to Subway, I plan to have either a turkey breast sandwhich on wheat or a teriaki sweet onion sandwhich on wheat, those 2 are my favorites.
Dinner: Steak stir-fry with some kind of fruit.

Tonight were going to go digging for razor clams!! It's razor clam season so were hear to get some clams and have a seafood feast tomorrow night!!! YUMMMMM!!!!!!! Oh and uhhhh...I plan to have a lil ice cream with that to, I've REALLY been craving pastacio ice cream, so rather then deprive myself of it I'm just going to have a little bit of it :)
Exercise: I plan on going swimming today and tomorrow :)
 
Alright alright, time for me to confess my sins. Ok, I started off the day yesterday healthy, had some wheaties and strawberries for breakfast, a subway 6 inch turkey sandwhich for lunch, a plum for a snack, then steak stir-fry for dinner. Well, later last night is when things went really downhill. I decided that I REALLY wantd some pastacio ice cream, so I started off just having it in moderation, feeling good, but then I realized that it tasted SO GOOD because I hadn;t had it in so long, that I wanted more! Then I rememberd that we also got some rocky road ice cream, so I just had a tiny scoop of that, but then THAT tasted so darn delicious, that I ended up saying to myself (screw the calories I want MORE!!). So, I had about 3 bowl fulls of ice cream, plus some peanut M&M's!! (those were just lieing around, calling my name). OMG, my binge was fun while it lasted, but now i feel really guilty about it. But I am getting back on the healthy road TODAY! My dad was pretty bad last night to, so were both going to go to our hotels cardio room and get a workout in (he's doing the treadmill, I'm doing the stair stepper). And I'm getting back on track as far as eating goes. I'm just going to try to forget about yesterday and move on from there, and vow NEVER to do that again :)
Breakfast: Dad made some fat free apple and cinnamon muffins, I had 1 of those and some strawberries and grapes with it, the muffins turned out REALLY GOOD!)
Lunch: Probably going to have some weight control maple and brown sugar oatmeal with an apple
Dinner: Dad and I went clam digging last night, so he's going to sautee some razor clams and some shrimp for a delicious seafood feast :). Not bad for you at all, except for the cholesterol, but hey this is nothing compared to what I ate yesterday :)

Lunch: Salad with no more than 1 tablespoon of ranch dressing, salmon with steamed brocoli
Dinner: Honey Bunches Of Oats, 17 grapes
Dad and I are going to be hitting the gym tomorrow, I'm not going to be able to go on Wednesday because I have a doctors appointment, so hopefully we will go on Saturday to make it up :) Have a great night everyone!
 
Hey everyone! Today was a great day for me, I went to Bally Total Fitness with my dad, we both did the eliptical machine, he did 30 minutes and I did 35 minutes, then we both did an upper body workout. Tomorrow we will not be going because he is going to play golf with a friend and I have a doctors appointment. But Thursday and Friday we will go and Thursday we will do a cardio workout then a lower body workout, then Friday another cardio workout and an upper body workout, then Saturday will be our "free day", where we will do our cardio, then venture off and do other things, like play basketball, racketball, go in the pool, hottub, steam room, sauna, etc. Gotta love those free days hehe.
Breakfast: Weight Control Cinnamon Oatmeal, 1 peach
Lunch: Sandwhich on whole wheat bread, Hormel Natural Choice Deli Ham, onion, lettuce, mustard, and a bit of jalapeno, 17 green grapes
Snack: 1 nectarine
Dinner: homemade clam chowder, 2 watermelon slices

Yr lunch seemed goood. U actually counted the number of grapes????

U r the same height as me! i'll pop by often. But i gotta lose more than u cos I'm asian size. haiz. :(

*mutters "i am beautifully and wonderfully made" 20x to herself*
 
LOL yeah I actually got into the habit of counting out my grapes, I really don't know why though, 17 grapes is about 45 cals, so I can eat a whole bunch of grapes and it wouldn't affect me in the least!!! I absolutly love grapes, I love basically all fruits. My favorites are watermelon, blueberries, strawberries, peaches and grapes. YUMMMMMMMM :)

Breakfast: Weight Control Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal, 1 cup of coffee with splenda, 2 watermelon slices
Lunch: 6 inch Sweet Onion Chicken Teriaki sandwhich on whole wheat bread from Subway, 17 green grapes
Dinner: Going to have some leftover pasta that my dad and I made the other night, we used Healthy Harvest noodles, a little bit of bacon, (ONLY a little), marinera sauce, carmalaized onions, and alot of the clams that we got from clam digging. It turned out SUPER yummy! I'm going to have that and a salad tonight. Lookin forward to it!
No exercise today, going to my doctors appointment today and my dad is playing golf :)
