Michelle's Diary

Hey everyone!! Thanks for the comment OhappyDaye! Today was my first day of school, and I am really satisified with all of my classes, I really think this is going to be an enjoyable year for me. And plus I have P.E., so I'll be getting plenty of physical activity there as well, which is a plus :)
Breakfast: 50% less sugar Apples and Cinnamon Oatmeal, 2/3 cup 1% milk (ran out of soy) 2/3 cup of blueberries, 1 cup of coffee with sweet N'low
Lunch: 1 cup of Ministroni soup, 17 grapes
snack: 1 Balance Energy Bar
Dinner: mom and I went out to dinner, I had some grilled hallibut, half of my rice pilaf, all of my veggies, and a casear salad with no more than 1 tablespoon of dressing

Hey everyone! Just checking in....How is everyone doing today??

Breakfast: About 1 1/4 cup of Fiber Rich Cereal (this stuff has a whopping 14 grams of fiber in it!!), 1/4 cup vanilla soymilk, 1 cup of coffee with sweet N'low
Lunch: I bought a turkey salad, but the turkey was awful, it tasted extremely salty and plus it was processed turkey, so I didn't eat the turkey, just the salad and veggies and some fat free blue cheese dressing
snack: 1 apple
Dinner: will report later

Uhhhhh didn't do to well at dinner....My mom made brautworst hot dogs so I had one on a seseme sead bun, and plus my mom used shotening (trans fat) to make the hot dogs on the grill (UGHHHHHHHHH) and plus I had some grapes. Oh well, I won't get depressed over it, I'll just learn from this experiance and move on from it, and just eat better in the future :)

Hey everyone! Just reporting what I did today...

Breakfast: at least 1 cup of Fiber Rich clusters cereal, some vanilla soymilk, about 1/2 cup of blueberries, a cup of coffee with sweet N'low (I've gotten kind of tired of always taking measurements all the time lol)
Lunch: I bought a chicken oriental salad, and I took some south beach diet ranch dressing with me
snack: 1 medium peach
dinner: Some lesagna with some green beans and 8 medium strawberries (at least I didn't have the extra bread) lol.

Oh by the way have you guys tried that rasberry Dasani thats available? It's really really good and it only has a little bit of sodium in it, I also had some of that today

Good job on not eating the bread...that is the hardest part for me...the bread and potatoes, just try to keep them to a minimum. Keep up the good work!!

Thanks Lovely! Refusing the bread is the hardest part to me to, but I can do it as long as I have the willpower to do it :) Just reporting my progress from yeaterday:

Breakfast: About 3/4 cup of Organic Toasted Oatmeal Flakes, 8 medium strawberries, some vanilla soymilk, and 1 cup of coffee with sweet N'low
Lunch: Mum and I went to Applebee's, I ordered off of the Weight Watchers menu, I got the shrimp salad, it was SO GOOD! I also took a slice of the Weight Watchers Rasberry chocolate cake home and ha d it after dinner..YUMMY!!!!!!
Dinner: 6 inch Bourban Chicken sandwhich sub from Subway, 1 medium peach
desert: That YUMMY cake
And also drank TONS of water as I always do.

My progress from today:
Breakfast: 1 cup of Fiber rich cereal, vanilla soymilk, 1/2 cup of blueberries, 1 cup of coffee with sweet N'low
Lunch: Mom and I are going to Red Robin, I'm going to get the veggie burger with a side of veggies instead of the fries
Dinner: I think I'm going to have the other half of my sandwhich with some fruit Exercise: I went out and ran, then I came back and did 60 crunches and about 30 pushups

WTG on the exercise front girl, and great meal choices.

It's good that you have a plan in place for what you'll be getting at Red Robin! It makes it so much easier to order off the menu when you know in advance what you'll be getting!

Hey everyone!! I'm really sorry I havn't been keeping up with my journal all week, I've just been burried in homework (I can see this is going to be a very loooooong junior year, LOL) but I am back now and really glad to be catching a break! Oh by the way I was finally able to change my ticker today!! I'm now down to my lowest weight EVER, 126 pounds!!! WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and another thing I want to share with all of you is yesterday in my P.E. class, my teacher gave all of us a choice whether we wanted to run the track or play football, I chose to run the track because I hate playing football, and I ran around that track for the entire period! I was able to go around 9 to 10 times, I believe thats almost 2 miles!!! (If I'm nit mistaken, but even if it's not, oh well!). I was very very proud of myself, I had no idea I was capeable of doing that. I just goes to show that you really are capeable of more than you think if you just push yourself. I've been exercising all week so I'm taking a break today, but tomorrow I'm going to go to my neighbors house to ride her stationary bike (I kinda want to do something different) and start doing my 60 crunches and 30 pushups consistantly. I KNOW I can do this!! I know I'm capeable!! Thats such a great feeling :)

Hey everyone! I went to my neighbors house to ride her stationary bike today, I rode for about 30 to 35 minutes....I felt like I could have stayed on longer, and I really don't know why I didn't...Oh well, tomorrow's another day. Then after the bike I did 60 crunches and I didn't count the number of push-ups...Not nearly enough though, starting tomorrow I'm going to make sure to do those consistantly and actually count how many I do LOL. Tomorrow and Tuesday I go to Curves, then Wednesday my family and I are going to the fair! Now I know for sure I'm going to be indulging that day, we always have to start off the fair with having a scone with milk (YIKES) and were also going to go to Pete's BBQ (another YIKES), with there oh so delicious but oh so sinful BBQ sauce, ribs, corn cooked in butter, colselaw baked beans, etc. Then to end it, I'm going to have soft served ice cream (and YIKES again). I LOVE soft served ice cream, it's my absolute favorite! The way I see it, it's only once a year when I eat stuff like this, so one day of indulging won't break me to a million pieces, I'll just burn off the cals the next day :). Can't wait for the fair!

Breakfast: Some Honey Bunches Of Oats, vanilla soymilk 8 strawberries, coffee with splenda
Lunch: South Beach Diet Orange Beef and brown rice (VERY yummy)
snack: apple
dinner: Going to Ivars, going to have salmon with wild rice (VERY yummy and heatlhy, I LOVE wild rice)
Hope everyone is having an awesome night!

wow I got tired just reading your post. Some might disagree but I think the venture out will be a good thing as long as your burning up the calories.... have fun.

Hey everyone!! I hope everyone is doing well....I'm very proud too say that last Friday and yesterday, I ran 2 miles on my schools track!! I'm in P.E. 6th period and my teacher gives us a choice whether we want to play football or run the track (of course I chose to ran the track). I'm very very proud of myself!! I took a break from exercising today but I will be going to Curves Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday :)

Breakfast: Weight Control Cinnamon Oatmeal, some vanilla soymilk in it, 17 grapes
Lunch: Honey Mustard glaze chiken on a whole wheat bun w/ mustard, lettuce, 1 tomato slice, 4 carrot sticks (that chicken was REALLY good!)
snack: this really interesting fruit I got in the school cafeteria, it's kind of a cross between and apple and a plum..REALLY good
Dinner: personalized veggie pizza from Round Table (only had 2 slices out of the 4) a salad with carrot slices, onions, and fat free blue cheese dressing

Hey everyone!! Well, I had my big blowout yesterday at the Fair...... First my dad and I arrived and we each had a scone (OMG they smelled and tasted so YUMMY!!) then we walked around a little bit and went to Pete's BBQ, we moth had there rib dinners, which was two pieces of ribs, 1 half slab of corn, some baked beans, and a pickle. I ate pretty much everything on my plate because I was SO hungry (I only had Wheaties for breakfast and an apple for lunch to save myself for this feast) then I got a soft ice cream cone (It was huge so I ate only some of it and gave the rest to my dad). Then when I got home I had a cow chip (one of there big cookies, YUMMY!). But even after that big blowout according to the scare I gained absolutly NOTHING!!!!! I got on the scare a couple of days ago to and it sai I weighed 124.8, now it says 124.6!! Whoa.....I was in shock but VERY relieved!!!!! I guess I've just really sped up my metabolsim through exercising....I'm not getting to cocky though, I'm still exercising this weekend to burn it all off. Well, other then that the fair was REALLY fun! My dad and I walked around alot, looking at all the different exhibits, went on some rides, and just had FUN! It was a great time and experiance. But now it's time to get my eating back on track! :)

Hey everyone! How has everyone been doing? Wow homework really keeps me on my toes, I'm sorry I havn't been here as much and I'm sorry I havn't been posting alot in other peoples diaries, I will definitly try to be better with that :)
Breakfast: 1 package of Weight Control Quaker Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal, vanilla soymilk, 1 large peach
Lunch: Healthy Choice Chicken and Rice soup, 17 grapes (the entire carton of soup had only 150 calories!)
snack: 1 large apple
dinner: 6 inch sweet onion chicken teriyaki sandwhich on wheat bread from Subway, some rasberries.
Exercise: Ran some laps around the track during P.E., went to Curves, about 60 crunches and 40 push ups

Thanks alot Mike! Your progress has also been way awesome!! Well, today I terminated my membership to Curves. My dad got us both memberships at this health club that is close to our house (can't really pronounce the name) and so were going to be going there from now on to work out together. I'm really looking forward to this because there are SO many more opportunities at this place then at Curves. Theres alot of cardio machines (treadmills, stair steppers, stationary bikes, etc) and weight training machines, and free weights. And I also think theres a yoga and pilates teacher, and plus a swimming pool! This is awesome because I love swimming so perhaps I'll be able to swim some days and do the cardio and weight training machines other days, and maybe even yoga or pilates (this way I will NEVER get in a "worlout rut") I can't decide whether I want to do yoga or pilates though, I've been wanting to do yoga for a long time, but pilates also looks very interesting, I'll have to decide tomorrow lol. And it will also be great to have a workout buddy for once. I'm really exited about this!

Breakfast: 1 package of Weight Control Quaker Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal w/ vanilla soymilk, 1 apple
Lunch: Bought a chicken casear salad, had some South Beach Diet Ranch dressing with it
Dinner: A small bowl of mum's homemade chicken chilli (YUMM!!) 1 medium peach
