March 2010 - March 2011: 350lbs-190lbs. 160lbs down.

There have definitely been points where I lost my motivation, for a month or two not exactly sticking to the diet. Never really gained weight, but never really lost any either. I'm still sticking strong now to finish this up and get to where I want to be, can't ever give up :)

Honestly, the thing that made me stick with it the most is just not wanting to die young. I never wanted to be one of those people in my 30's or 40's having to take medication day and night just to stay alive due to being extremely overweight.

What was your diet anyways? Was it something that was pretty easy to stick to?

I never even thought about the whole "dying young" thing. That actually is such a motivator, now that ive thought about it haha;

Honestly just seeing your weight loss makes me feel like it's not so far off to be able to lose what I want to, so thank you! Haha;

I was (still am) on a program called Take Shape For Life, which uses Medifast food. I remember posting here over a year ago when I started it and people were telling me I was going to die and risk severe injury from this diet, lol. I think most people freak out when they hear it's only 850-950 calories a day, but it has all the nutrients you need. Super easy to stick to, just gets kind of monotonous after a while.

I can't speak for everyone, but at my heaviest I would wake up in the morning feeling completely out of breath and felt my heart pounding. Had bad sleep apnea and just all around felt like garbage, hence the whole dying young motivator, lol.

Glad I could help you out :)

Lol 850 - 950 is actually higher than alot of the clients I have that come from other programs, like Dr Bernsteins for example, is 500 - 700 a day. That's extreme lol.

But hey, it looks like it worked, & youre still alive, so you showed them haha;

Dude, the transformation is absolutely amazing. I'm so glad I found this forum. Seeing the before and after shots of people like you are truly inspiring.

To compare your before and after pics is like looking at two differrent people.

The before guy looks unhealthy and unhappy (and not all that friendly lol), the after guy looks young, healthy and full of life and happiness.

Absolutely amazing!!
