Lucy's Fit Life (Contains large amounts of nut butter and coffee)

We did end up going out for dinner last night! I wasn't that hungry but got grilled salmon and salad... ate the salmon and then was too full to actually even touch the salad lol. Weird cuz after adding up all of yesterdays food intake I had a pretty big deficit- then again I did eat heaps the day before so maybe it's just balancing out a little. I eat to what I plan out but more/less depending on whether or not I'm hungry so calorie intakes end up pretty different (only supposed to be counting net carbs, not calories. Just eat whenever you're hungry doing this, which is becoming less and less often!)

Food plan for tomorrow

B- Cauliflower 'hash browns' with homemade white sauce
S- 2 pieces of homemade protein cinnamon toast with butter
L- Chicken salad with lettuce, capsicum, cucumber, 1/2 avocado and homemade dressing
S- 2 hardboiled eggs
D- Slow cooked roast beef with above salad (half at lunch, half at dinner)

Exercise- 30mins fasted swim, physio stuff, 30min strength training (shoulders tomorrow)

Total calories: 1696 Total deficit: 914
Calorie deficit average for the month: 489 (getting higher! Woohoo!)

Did 10mins of HIIT boxing with my physio stuff this morning- Pretty cool actually, today and the other day when I did it I had a calorie burn of 250ish in 40mins, whereas my usual physio stuff is around 90-110cals in 30mins. So I burn 150cals+ in that 10mins hahaha, awesome! Now I have to figure out what else I can eat today because otherwise my deficit will be HUGE!

Yay got a goodie parcel today- I ordered some supplements last week to help with my digestion/ stomach problems. I honestly don't think I'll be able to lose weight without some serious stomach healing and my body calming down (hence the no dairy again... *big sigh*) So I now have l-glutamine to take before breakfast/lunch/dinner, before bed, and after a workout, and I got oil of oregano tablets to take at night. Really really really want to see a loss this month!!!

Wow! I am so glad my tummy doesn't give me problems. That sounds like a lot of supplements! But I hope that it helps you get that scale moving!

Hey sweetie! Well done on eating well in the restaurant! Salmon & salad - you are such a champion!
It seems like you are feeling good again & you have stepped up your exercise! Good job!! I am still loving the mix you are doing!
I really hope you can your stomach heal fast!
I am sure you will see some weight loss soon! Your exercise is great & so is your food!!! Go Lucy! :hurray:

ps/cinnamon rolls - i pretty much followed the video - apart from the egges - she (Maria) updates her notes later suggesting 8 egg whites instead of 4 whole eggs - because it will rises better..well it rose to a point of explosion (well almost - lol) But it was really wobbly - and not very appetizing. I did read the comments - people usually complain about the dough being too liquidy to work with - but I didnt have that problem - it was fine. I might try it again sometime. I am a bit put off for now. Thanks for your help/support though - you are very sweet.

Hey you! Just letting you know that i made the flax-meal chocolate cake for one & it is amazing!!!!
I should have made this for our anniversary (instead of the cinnamon roll)
Loved it - well done you!! I made a few changes (sweetener, vanilla, etc)
Check out pic on my thread :)

ps/ miss you around here

Ooo, I'll make sure I check it out!! I'm glad you liked it!!

Hey luz! Where ya at?!

Haha I'm around, I've been hanging a bit on a low carb forum but I'll keep posting here, promise!!

Ate a little mental a couple days last week then got my period, should've guessed! Was bloaty and awful but still weighed in Fri- 65.5kgs which was better than I thought it'd be lol. I've been really good this week so far!! Getting in a fair bit of HIIT boxing and all my workouts/swims. Haven't been doing much, DH has 3 days off at the moment (yesterday to tomorrow) so just chilling out a lot. It's good, boxing partner! YAY!

Oh, we had big storms here a few days ago and water started pouring through the roof where the exhaust is in the kitchen- so we haven't had an oven or stove since Thu!!! (Every time we turn it on, it not only trips the fuse but the mains as well so it's a serious problem!) It's really annoying, means I can't just steam/bake veges but have to make salads every day. Also having to use the slow cooker and electric frypan for meat... and I can't bake anything or hard boil eggs. It's TOTALLY doing my head in!!! The real estate are seriously taking their time sending someone out to have a look, Ash is going to call them again now. It SUCKS living without an oven!!!

Anyhoo, I'm off to catch up on a few diaries and then get some boxing in!

Oh no!!! i would be so mad too!! We had a water heater problem & they changed it for us within the hour.
I must say our landlord is really good. It's in the contract though - they must fix the problems in 24 hours - if that is viable.
I hope your oven gets fixed soon!!!
Big hug :hug2:

Happy boxing! :boxing:

That sucks about your kitchen not working!! That would be hard to deal with!!! Glad that you have been doing, and getting in your exercise too!

No oven - I would die!! Shame Luz that sucks!! Glad you enjoying the boxing!!

Hope your oven gets fixed soon

OK. Flaxmeal choco cake...it's gaining popularity! My mom made it & teaching it to my grandma :) My dad ate it under a minute apparently lol. And my sister in England is trying it once she is done with her 21 day detox plan :)
Next on my list is the apple roll pie - i have a very tiny food processor though (i can barely fit a can of garbanzo beans in when i make hummus.) - i hope it does the job.

Hope your diet & exercise plan goes well - & you got your oven back.

Miss seeing your face here!

I seriously wish this was the case- it's been a week now and we've called them 3 times. All we get is the same response- they've logged the job with several electricians and someone will be out today. (Yea, they said today 3 times on 3 different days... hasn't happened yet!) I'm living out of my slow cooker right now, so glad roast veges taste amazing in it haha!!! The mix I'm currently eating is eggplant, capsicum, tomato and pumpkin with cream cheese and garlic. YUM!

That sucks about your kitchen not working!! That would be hard to deal with!!! Glad that you have been doing, and getting in your exercise too!

It's horrible not being able to bake or boil eggs, doing my head in!! Haha actually was going to google hard boiling eggs in a slow cooker to see if someones done it (I'm sure they have). Miss my HB eggs!!

No oven - I would die!! Shame Luz that sucks!! Glad you enjoying the boxing!!

Thanks Mands, still no luck yet. Grrr. Haha I LOVE boxing, actually did another HIIT session this morning. So much fun!!

Oh wow, that's so cool!!! The apple pie roll pastry is a really small amount so you'll have no problems with a mini food processor. Actually you'll probably find it a lot easier than me with my big one haha!!!

Hey guys, I'm still going strong!!! Not sure if I mentioned it before but I ended up adding some dairy back in, just WAY too hard trying to do it without. I'm feeling a lot more confident I'll be able to stick with it with the extra variety! Still keeping my exercise mixed up, did 10mins of HIIT boxing this morning followed by my 30mins physio (HRM says calories burned = 279). Did it semi- fasted, I had a coffee with cream just before and then had a cooked breakfast which took about half an hour to put together after my workout. Here's todays food:

Food for today

B- Homemade wrap with 2 eggs, 2 tbsp. flax, sprinkle of onion powder, 20g mozzarella, filled with 1/2 avocado, 2 beef chevups and 20g feta. Decaf coffee with 1 tbsp. double cream
S- Decaf coffee with 1 tbsp. double cream
L- Leftover roast vege mix with a leftover burger pattie
S- 20g feta, 6 olives
D- Leftover burger on cloud bread with cheese, tomato, lettuce, mustard

Exercise- 10mins HIIT boxing followed by 30mins physio, 30mins strength training (after lunch)

Total calories- 1633

Good job with your exercise!! You can do eggs in the microwave if you want. I usually do that if I make a egg mcmuffin.

Good job with the exercise!
i have my fingers crossed for you for the oven!! it's time they should fix it!

Weigh in day!!! And... I'm back to the weight I was stuck at again hahaha. 700g loss... Could've just been TOM gain. I guess next week will be the real test! I'm going to make sure I'm 100% on plan and sticking with my exercise- if I don't lose it won't be through any fault of mine!!! DETERMINED to break this bloody plateau lol.

Good luck on breaking the plateau. Maybe shake your fist at the scale and threaten it with being your next boxing partner if it doesn't cooperate.
