Lucy's Fit Life (Contains large amounts of nut butter and coffee)

Survived another week of PT! She's busy Mon and Tue next week now, so I have training Wed-Sat. Since I normally do cardio on a Sat, I'm doing my usual lot tomorrow, then cardio again on Mon so I'm not missing out next week.

Husband is out meeting the area manager here for the company he works for, fingers crossed he'll come back with news of a job!!

No plans today, think I'll be responsible and do some chem study.

Food plan for tomorrow

S (pre workout) Protein cupcake
B Hot cereal with 1/2 cup ricotta, egg, strawberries and macadamia nut butter
S 1 babybel mini
L Homemade coconut flour wrap with curried egg
S 30g mixed nuts
D Leftover slow cooked roast beef, broccoli, gravy. Making a bowl of chocolate almond milk ice-cream for dessert.

Exercise 30mins-1hr of cardio (no idea how long, will depend on how far I decide to ride my bike). 20mins walking to work and back

Total calories 1904

Aaaaaand of course, after that it's weigh in on Sunday!! I'm working all day tomorrow, 9-5:30.
 
Back from my bike ride!! What a gorgeous morning out! I got up at 6am and left the house around 6:15. My HRM said I biked 42:55mins, my HRM average was 139bpm and my max was 169bpm which really surprised me as it felt like a pretty leisurely ride. I can't think of any point during my ride that my heart rate would have gotten that high lol. Either I'm much less fit than I thought or I was biking faster that I thought! Also burned 315cals.

Had a bit of a giggle this morning, there was a lady walking a Chihuahua and she had let it off its' lead... it was running ahead and she started calling out "Narny, Narny get back here!" Was trying to figure out what kind of name she was shortening when she yelled out "BANANA! GET BACK HERE!" Hehehehe, she had a Chihuahua called Banana.

Weigh in tomorrow!!!!!! I'm hoping for ANY LOSS at all. Just because of the dodgy start to the week and me upping cals to 1900 every day so my deficit wouldn't have been as big as usual. Mind you I had a shitty loss the past couple weeks anyway so I might be good tomorrow hahaha. I would be stoked if I lose 200g, which would put me at 69.9kgs and in the 60s again. We shall see!!! I'll post after work tonight my food plan for tomorrow.
 
My IT band in my left knee is still bothering me a little, I'm walking around normally but as soon as I've been sitting down for an hour or two (like I do at work) it starts to ache. Then when I walk home my knee is so stiff and I don't feel normal till I'm almost home, it's pretty annoying. It's fine after the foam roller too so I'm making sure to use that twice a day and stretch, also been doing my rehab exercises again. Stupid knee, going to get into a chiropractor this week to make sure that my hips aren't out or anything, also will get a deep tissue massage and loosen up those muscles.

B 2 eggs, grilled tomato, bacon all cooked in a bit of butter, 1/2 avocado
S Protein cupcake
L Homemade coconut flour wrap with curried eggs
S Protein ice-cream topped with homemade choc hazelnut sauce (experiment)
D Meatloaf and Greek salad

Exercise None! It's a rest day!!

Total calories 1861 (I'll be trying to keep around 1850ish so the few splashes of milk I have in my coffees won't put me over 1900)
 
Only lost 100g this week. Boo! I know it would be because I went over at the beginning of the week and had a maintenance day not long after. At least the scale is moving in the right direction! Going to stick to 1900 cals a day for at least a fortnight to see where it gets me. I'm determined!!
 
I woke up sooo early this morning and my husband wasn't ready for breakfast, so I ate my morning tea and then decided to get some baking done!!! Here's how productive I was this morning between 6:30am- 8:30am!

I made a protein cinnamon loaf (experiment, haven't tasted it yet. If it's good it'll go on my blog), a batch of chocolate protein muffins (this recipe: I used quark instead of cream cheese, and 2 Quest white choc raspberry protein bars instead of the brownie ones), a couple of coconut wraps (I make them in pizza dishes and cut them in half, so that'll be 4) and a meatloaf for dinner. After all that I cooked us bacon and eggs and cleaned up! Food for the fortnight, wooo!!

OMGOMGOMG It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! It's my usual protein ice-cream (vanilla protein shake + 1tsp xanthan gum, blended and frozen into ice-cubes which I put through my Vita-mix when I'm ready to eat it) which I topped with a choc hazelnut sauce I made. Which was amazing. Tasted like I poured warm nutella all over the top! Going to post it on my blog in a few days but thought I'd share it here, it was a little over 1 tbsp. hazelnut butter, 1 tbsp. cocoa powder, few drops of stevia, tbsp. of erythritol. pinch of salt and 2.5tbsp of boiling water. Mixed it smooth and poured it on. Only 149cals for the whole sauce which I could have left a bit thicker and eaten it off a spoon. Om nom nom
 
Man, you're on a cooking binge. :)

At the very least the cinnamon loaf looks really good. How'd it taste?

Went for a bike ride this morning at 6am. Had an alarm set to get up then but my cat woke me up at around 5am (ergh) and I was just about asleep when my alarm went off. I got up and went but now I'm really tired! It was pretty dark and windy this morning, thought I was going to get stormed on but it's looking pretty clear out there now. Here's what my heart rate monitor had to say:

I actually didn't realise it was windy until I turned around to go home and had to ride against it the whole way back, urgh got a bit more of a burn going today haha! Rest day tomorrow now and then 4 days of PT in a row.

Knee is still being a pain, I've been doing my rehab exercises and using the foam roller the past couple days... really only bothers me first thing in the morning or if I've been sitting down a while (like at work) and it just gets sooo stiff. I was fine riding today, only actually even noticed it a couple of times but it didn't cause pain or anything like that. Going to make an appointment to see a chiropractor Wed morning, probably won't be able to get a massage this week though unless I find a place that'll do it on Sat. The whole idea was to go get a cheapie at the uni I go to though so will have to see- I have uni Tue and Wed and work Thu/Fri this week.

Food plan for tomorrow (bit all over the place as we have to do a grocery shop and I have uni in the middle of the day)

Exercise Just the 30min walk to uni and back. Hopefully my knee won't bother me too much, I'd ride my bike but don't know if there's anywhere around there to park and lock it.
 
Wow someone is cooking up a storm!!!! Love the food idea,,,,,I should try and do more homemade stuff too at least then you know what your eating....I had a recepi to make chocolat pudding out of avocado and cocoa I should try to find it and make it!!! Keep up the good work!!!!
 
I love baking. It keeps me busy and my food interesting!!

Argh so waking up so early ended up being a bit of a disaster, been so tired all day and all I wanted to do was eat. Ate up to 2900ish cals so to get my 1900 average I have to stick to around 1700 for the next 5 days. Definitely doable, just annoying haha.

Booked in to see a chiropractor at 8am on Wed without even thinking about my PT session at 7, grr. Ended up contacting my PT and asking for an earlier session and she only had 5.30am available, poos! So I'll be having a super early day on Wed. Hopefully I'll get my knee sorted too!!

Pretty confident I can still come out on top this week. Would love to lose at least 400g, really excited to see my weight start with a 6 again! Going to smash the rest of this week!! And hopefully catch up on much needed sleep.
 
So I was planning on eating 1700 cals today, but I'm just not that hungry. Was sooo full when I woke up I had a muffin then didn't eat breakfast till 10am. I'm looking to end the day on around 1400 which I think is ok for a rest day/ day after a really high day. Rest of the week I can have extra now though, I'll be looking between 1700-1800. So that's good!

Slept in today too till 7:30 which is really unusual, think I was in a bit of a food coma haha! Still really tired now though I think from oversleeping... can't win! Oh well, back into the gym tomorrow which I think will improve my mood. Ash is going to drop me at uni today though so I don't have to walk in case my knee starts to play up- it's actually being really good today but I'd like to keep it that way for leg day tomorrow.

Going to be ending today on around 1600 cals which is fine, wasn't that hungry today after eating so much yesterday. Tomorrow I have gym at 5:30am, chiropractor at 8am, then grocery shopping, then no plans till the afternoon when I have uni.

I hope the chiro will help fix up your leg......I hate it when I am on a roll eating well working out and then bam I get sick or hurt just slows progress all over!!! Great job!!!!

Thanks guys. My knee didn't affect leg day at all (not sure if a good thing or not? Lol) Actually I think tiredness from getting up so early affected me more than anything, after my last set of lunges at the end I truly felt like I was going to spew which I don't normally get from weight training, I think it was just from being tired. I actually managed to go up in my leg press, did a set of 10 at 120kgs today. Woooo!!! So glad we drove there though, I had to walk down the wheelchair ramp instead of using the stairs as my legs were so destroyed afterward haha. Will DEFINITELY sleep well tonight, blah. Feel like I'm going to doze off already.

Food is probably not going to be anything like what I posted above, I might amend it later on. Just because we still have some leftovers to eat that weren't finished last night and I don't know if we are getting all the shopping done today. We shall see! Cals will be about the same in any case.

Anyhoo... shower time for me, got to go to the chiro soon!
 
Ohhh man what a morning. PT so early, then chiropractor which turned into needing X-rays which took an hour, then straight into grocery shopping, then putting away our monster shop and headed straight back out to get the car washed... home and sitting now, finally.

So chiropractor... My hips were waaay out, I was walking around with my right leg a good inch shorter than my left. Unfortunately my whole back was pretty screwed, I was out in 3 other places including my neck. Sent me for X rays as he thinks I've got mild scoliosis which is shit, my mum has pretty bad scoliosis and they can't do anything for her and she's in pain daily. He's pretty confident it's mild and we can correct it with exercises, I have to go back and see him Sat morning with my X rays to see. Yikes.

I made bulk Mexican chicken meatballs to freeze for when I'm feeling lazy, also to possibly use as a pre-workout first thing in the morning instead of waking up to cake every day (which is actually pretty hard some mornings). Think I have food all sorted for tomorrow too finally!

Hope your chiropractor is right and it's mild, if anything, and can be fixed easy enough. Sounds like you have a great meal plan there too!

Workout this morning was rough, got a new high on my deadlifts though! I did 50kgs for 2 sets of 6. Wooo!! My butt is killing me from yesterday too.

Work is really dead, posting from there on my phone haha. My lunch was soooo good, got guac all over me but so worth it!! Also bought some shoes to wear to that wedding. Apart from that... stuck here till 5. Soooo bored!!! Matching with friends is getting a workout on my phone!
