Looking to lose an extra human I apparently picked up along the way

251.5 on Wednesday. The model says 252.5. Right now the ultimate goal date of the model (185 pounds) is February 17, 2014.

Playing basketball in about an hour.

Saturday is June 1 which will mark 11 months since I started. 11 pounds a month seems like a pretty good rate over that period of time, and that will be roughly what I've lost. The weekly rate of loss right now by the model (yay calculus!) is 2.1 pounds. It drops below 2 pounds by the end of July.

That is so incrediable!
What is the secret behind your succes?

Diet and exercise. :D

Seriously, I'm somewhat uncomfortable being too triumphant about what it is I'm doing. One, because I haven't actually succeeded yet, I'll have succeeded when I'm 220 pounds or less five years from now. Two, because we're all different and what might work for me might not work for anyone else in the world.

But in any event, the simple answer is I counted calories (2100-2200 a day) and massively increased my exercise. And no matter what happened on any one particular day or even series of days, I just kept right at afterward. So far, so good.

251 to finish out May. At the start of the month the model had me at 252.5 today and now with all the may data it says 251.9. So I did quite well, I think.

Had legs workout this morning and those are just murder on me. MERDER!!!

But I'll survive I think. This now completes month number 11 of the MrVee Self Imporvement Program™, and I think I've greatly imporved several areas, not just my weight. I'm hoping to keep imporving, because I feel like making sure I don't back slide is improtant.

I felt like giving you lots of cheek, along with lots of encouragement, after your last post. Any more imporvment & you'll have me worrying! Were you drunk or are you using some weird & wonderful "spell-check?" You are kicking arse Mr Vee & you will not back-slide. I am sure of it & I think you are too. It's a good feeling & one you will get used to. Cheers, Cate.

I spelled it wrong the first time, saw it while typing and just decided to run with it.

251 to start off June. Two more weigh-ins with the chance to break 250, otherwise I'll have to wait until Monday the 10th.

Playing golf with the brother in law in two hours. Going to be hot, but we're only playing nine holes so we should make it.

well, nine holes became sixteen holes, the high reached 104, and I skipped lunch. All of which is to say, when I got home and right before I hopped in the shower:

I'm not counting it as official until the morning weigh-ins and it didn't generate nearly the same feelings that breaking 300 did (broken in a similar manner), but it's still nice to see that poise on the 200 pound slot. For some reason 249 pounds sounds a lot less heavy than 251.

253.5 this morning and I'm not sure why. But I get on a plane in three hours, so I'm not sure I have much time to care why.

Have a good trip. Sorry the numbers didn't pan out in your favor for now. You know it will happen soon. Good luck with managing the diet/exercise on the trip.

Have a good trip!
