Lift, Train, Fitness

Still waiting for a good opportunity to get the koala pics, and if bub doesn't spread anymore red pain around the lounge room this morning (she managed to snap open a lid of a tube she dug out of my paint box) I may be able to write up the stuff on the scam diet.

Sorry to read about your pain. Have you seen a doctor, any ideas what may be going on with that?

I have been back a forward to the doc, I have arthritis which in turn caused the bursitis. Bursitis is excruciatingly painful and only partially helped with injections in my hips. this is on top of old over use injuries eg. (torn tendons in my elbow) which are likely to never heal and also has injecting for pain relief (Doc and physiotherapist disagree on the healing potential) and the doc who gives the injections for pain relief agrees with the physio that healing wont happen, physio thinks that surgery is the only option, but doc disagrees and won't refer to surgeon.

I also have arthritis in other parts of the body which cause intermittent problems

I empathise with the Arthritis. I tend to not bother telling my GP anything but must tell her about my pain.
There seems to be a lot more spam lately!

There seems to be a lot more spam lately!

Times are tough so there are a lot of first time marketers out there, when they visit marketing forums they see heaps of posts telling them to leave links on forums matching their product failing to also read that they should read individual forum rules before doing so. When these marketers sees an active forum without others marketers posting they think they have hit a gold mine.

A lot of the newly minted marketers have also been sucked into selling bad and scam products like fat decimator and 2 week diet not knowing it is all by fake authors and is simply bad information, get enough ignorant people writing hyped up good reviews (for products they are selling) and all of a sudden people suddenly do think it is good.

The bot spam is simply constant.

You are clearly more compassionate than I am. Speaking of: is it helpful for the mods if we flag all the spam we see, even the stuff you can easily recognize just from the thread title or is it better to just flag the stuff you need to actually read to recognize?

Just got back from the gym and feeling more relaxed than I have for a long time but will mean I am extra sore tomorrow, but at least it is the weekend and hubby is available to help with bub.

Bench Press 6 X 10 @ 40 kg - rehab weight, not bad considering my calcified rotator cuffs and torn elbow tendons, no pain during lifts
Rower - 3 X 500m sprints
Hack Squat 6 X 20 @ 100 kg - hack squat machine kept hips stable and without pain, again, rehab weight
Hyper Extension - 3 X 20

Training session may not be up to my usual standard and was lacking in a few areas but not bad considering injuries.

Even though your session may not have been up to your usual standard, Tru, it was a positive step & will do you lots of good. Hope you're not too sore this morning.

Hips are sore tonight but at this stage of the evening DOMS is not to bad considering how long it has been since I have been able to have a training session.
Watching my youngest son hobble around the house in pain from his DOMS makes me feel a whole lot better lol
(He has been slack with training and wanted a new full body program, his biggest complaint is Gluteal DOMS :rotflmao:)

Hi Tru, glad to read that you made it back the the gym. Do you find that your arthritis is worse based on what you eat/drink?

Thanks for your work to keep the nonsense and scam info out of the forums.

I have been Keto for years, which is a low inflammation type diet, so no variation in arthritis pain levels from food.

I'm glad your DOMS wasn't too bad.
Haha- perhaps your YS won't be quite so slack from now on :)

He has quite a physical job, he works at a tea garden / craft brewery and not only does most of the heavy outdoor garden work, he is also their primary brewer, some of the brewery work is heavy work. One of the things that gave him an edge in getting the job (there is very high youth unemployment here) was that he was trained to lift heavy object in a safe way. Part of the job as a lifting coach both for my son and for paying clients is to find those weak areas and bring them back in balance with the stronger muscles to prevent injuries in the long run :D

I knew he was active & was just being silly. It wouldn't take much for me to have DOMS. I feel like I have turned into a sloth. Your family is awesome, Tru.

Feeling like a sloth is horrible but sometimes it is unavoidable :(

I am proud of my boys, all three are Autistic but all three have jobs, and 2 are living independently when there are sooo many young people who cannot find work no matter how hard they try.

Spent some time crafting today, this piece is still drying
