yes, the tufts are nylon fibres, the trees are coconut fibre on skewers, the flock is sawdust (waste product from high school where hubby works) which has been coloured with house paint
 
Not much happening today, bub is asleep and just relaxing. I even managed to keep a scammer on the phone for a full 20 minutes, the joys of having more computer knowledge that the person trying to scam you, wasting the scammers time hurts them more than just hanging up or abusing them and can be fun to lead them on. I can be an evil bitch sometime lol This scammer was claiming to be from the Telstra technical department claiming there was a problem with my internet lol I don't even have internet from them :rotflmao::rofl: and their attempted proof that they were legitimate was providing a name as listed in the phone book (hubbies first initial and surname) when our internet has never been listed that way with anybody.

my fun was stopped when he got to the 20 minute mark, pity, I could have had so much more fun at his expense.
 
I just can't be bothered with these scammers. Where did you get the energy to do that?

I was relaxing on the lounge chair after bub went down for a nap, 20 minutes of entertainment before getting up to get some housework done lol

Super set HIIT Rowing/Bench press ( after each bench set a 500m sprint was completed on the erg ), no rest.

Warm Up Bench (Bar)

PL tricep extensions - 3 X 10 @ 10 kg (similar to a regular tricep extension but targets the medial and lateral heads only, taking the strongest long head out of the equations)

Kroc Rows

3 X 15 @ 12.5 kg

Shrugs

3 X 15 @ 60 kg

Notes: still very light for bench, Friends have finally convinced me to look at competing again, but in bench press only. some of my friends have had people I barely know tell them how much of an inspiration I have been to them for fitness and lifting and I need the lifting to keep my mind right, I just have to work through some of the pain.

Lunch

2 pieces of grilled porterhouse with 2 fried eggs (no oil) (stopped and got some bulk meat at my butcher on the way home from gym)

That's good news, Tru. Good for your friends. It's a bugger about the pain, but if you at all like me, it's there anyway, so it would be best that you're doing something that you do so well & enjoy, despite the pain.
 
Just put my info into the nutrition tracker, I can see what I am still missing in my nutrition for the rest of the day, time to dig around and find my muti vitamin tablets and my iron tablet, Even with supplementing Iron I am often borderline anaemic, My vit D supplement is also essential as I don't produce it from sunlight.

This diary rambles all over the place and is not very informative for those looking at my lifting, so with my attempt to return to competition I will be starting a training log in the exercise portion of the forum, it will split my pure training data entries from here making both threads a little easier to read, with only placing a link in this thread when there has been a training session completed.
 
Finished eating for the day 96% of nutritional targets reached, Vit A, Vit C, copper, Magnesium and sodium were lacking

happy to see 100% on my Amino Acids

I do not have the suggested spinach or liver on hand to make it a 100% day. I need to add more salt to my food.
 
It is great to be feeling DOMS is the correct locations today, it is pain but "good pain" to be embraced :)

shoulders were a problem sleeping last night but feeling ok this morning with no more "bad" pain than usual, same for elbow and hips.
 
Todays Lunch, home made beef patties made with fresh ground lean beef from butcher and a few other ingredients.

looks like tonight I need liver or kidneys to meet all of my nutrition targets

Nutrition at the end of the day 98% of targets achieved

Vit C was lacking
Arginine was 0.8 of a gram short (this is an amino acid) a little more protein from meat would have hit the target

the amino acid arginine changes into nitric oxide (NO). Nitric oxide is a powerful neurotransmitter that helps blood vessels relax and also improves circulation. Arginine may help improve blood flow in the arteries of the heart.
 
it is 7:15 pm and still not hungry, good thing I don't need much more to hit my nutrition targets. I will post again when I am done for the day

targets achieved, slight under calories, but within target window, nutritional targets more important than calories, all are within target window, more than minimum but less than max limit.
 
That's funny about the scammer. I once read an article where the guy took baiting the scammer so far as to set up a meeting overseas, it was a multi-day process.

I think I saw recently there was an app or something which automatically created a thread with scammer emails, keeping them on the hook as long as possible.
 
What tracker do you use for your macros Tru? Great that you are getting back into competitions again, you're an absolute machine!
