42 c today in the shade on our veranda with 75% humidity

just had a feed of liver, yum even if it was over cooked, my daughter got upset right at the wrong time.

sitting here watching the news, massive storm approaching, we normally never get a mention so must be a big one

just had a look, approaching storm is recording 120 kph wind, could be worse
I love liver. I'll just fry it if i want something kinda quick but normally its cooked down in an onion gravy over rice.
Ohh man i want liver now lol.

What an unlikely-looking person to be talking about the menstrual cycle :D I usually don´t like it when people call women "females" but it´s a) an interesting talk and b) refreshing to hear a guy talk so freely about women´s issues. May or may not have something to do with the crying baby I heard in the background at some point.

the renovations happening at the gym are almost done, sooo looking forward to have a Sauna accessible without having to drive to a city, Infra Red ones don't count.

Sauna access is important for CNS recover during a heavy training load.

With the extreme hot weather and its effect on how I have been feeling I have had to re evaluate my electrolyte intake, and found myself lacking in a couple, hopefully the new levels will have a positive effect.

What way are you supplementing your electrolyte levels Tru & how do you know which ones you are deficient in?
Having a sauna sounds so good. I can't remember when I last had one.

I have been low in sodium, and magnesium, because I am low carb salt passes through the body far more than on a normal carb filled diet (one reason people loose a lot of water weight when they first swap to low carb) add to that extreme heat and not eating processed food with salt = not enough salt leading to headaches and lack of concentration etc. Lack of magnesium is felt with muscle weakness and cramping, also sleep is affected. potassium is probably also deficient but as it has some of the same effects as the other electrolytes i wont supplement until everything else is right to be sure.

I also need a lot of vit D because i don't produce it from sun exposure and it gets checked by my GP

I take magnesium & vitamin D too. You seem to be very much in touch with what your body needs Tru.

I have never been into the sauna. I don't really like being hot, so sitting in a hot room doesn't do much for me.

Definitely have to be careful about that salt intake. Salt has been vilified so much over the last couple decades, but it serves an important function in our body.

there are a lot of colour mutation in America which don't exist anywhere else, and would be nice to be able to get.

raining today, mostly relaxing inside, I have been a bit lazy with tracking recently but will post my data at the end of the week.

going shooting tonight.

Raining cats n dogs still, driving to and from shooting last night was a nightmare. Mozzies, wind and heavy rain, great conditions for shooting lol

I have to go into town today to have blood drawn for a full blood panel, got called in to see my doc yesterday so he could organise routine tests before he goes back to South Africa for a few weeks.

Good luck with the blood results; I´m not sure I know anyone who´s more on top of what their body needs than you are.
