I'm jealous of the wood. I love to work with it as a hobby. It would be amazing to have enough to do something fun with some feature walls. I've seen some chain saw based mills that would go a ways to getting the wood to size but I don't know anything about drying or otherwise prepping it. I guess I's be all over that if I lived in your neighborhood.
 
Handling timber is hot work even when it's cooler out but as you said it's much safer when they're on the ground under control rather than letting mother nature decide where and when they come down.
 
sprained my ankle a couple of days ago (stepped on a round stick), painful but healing. wanted to get photos of the moon last night, cloud was not cooperative, best I could manage was the last portion of the eclipse, will see how they came out when i get them onto the computer later, might have some with dramatic cloud formations.
 
I am struggling at the moment, both mentally and physically. I have an old injury that is giving me big problems, I had knee surgery over 20 years ago after tearing all the ligaments in the knee ( Judo) and then having the knee collapse at random times when walking due to the calcification in the joint. My knee has been great for years and the lifting was the main contributor to being able to use the knee correctly however over the last couple of days the knee has given way and collapsed suddenly while I was carrying my daughter and is extremely painful. I can barely walk with the knee on the right and the sprained left ankle.
 
So sorry to hear that. Being restricted like that is horrible enough without a mini-human to care for.

I am afraid to go to the doc, I don't particularly want to know how bad it is, dreading the thought that it may mean more surgery.
 
I'm glad that it's cooler at least. You know that you need to know, don't you? I hope you don't need surgery but it's important to look after yourself & be sure xo

elbow is not so bad today so was able to get some good sleep.

I just want to be injury free enough to get back to the gym, eating is still good.
 
Sleep is amazing. I hope you´ll find exercise alternatives that will give you the same release and health benefits without overloading your various scars.

Sometimes those injuries can be slow to heal. the joints can be extra stubborn at times.
 
managed some coaching at the gym yesterday.

helping some people here is like pulling teeth lol, 1/2 dozen posts just to get basic info becomes very tedious. "I am fat tell me what to do" does not help me give you the help you want, same goes for "I go to the gym, am I doing enough" , without knowing exactly what your doing at the gym, I cannot help. All these sorts of questions do is provide an opportunity for spammers to post their 10 ways to loose weight lists and their link to whatever weight loss product they are earning money from.
