Being tired sucks! I know what you mean..that was me all last week it seemed. But hey, you still got some exercise in this morning which is great! Another 2lbs lost too~AWESOME~ :)
 
sometimes your body needs rest...and with the heavy duty workouts you are doing maybe you need a recupe day/time...i have been thinking about doing yoga like on sundays. maybe something like that for you one day a week or so. i have a dvd and i should put it in and do it once in awhile...

anyway...you are doing fantabulous as usual....

high five (thwack)..ouch that hurted...dont you even know your own strength..i'm a girl ;-)
 
Killer cardio!

ok here we are. only tuesday. kind of unfortunate lol. But today was cardio day. and i absolutely went crazy. i decided that i wanted to push myself a bit and i went at it hard. i finally wanted to hit that 7 mile mark in 60 min. so i chugged and chugged and hit 7.13 miles in my 60 min for 1003 calories. cooldaown brought me to 7.51 miles and 1076 calorie burned for the day. hard effin core. it felt great. Even cooler, yesterday's tennis session was amazing. i was hitting the ball like a champ and was feeling really good about it! no exercise this evening, and i'm completely content with that. maybe tennis tomorrow though. ok guys back to work i go. how is everyone doing?

there was one encounter i forgot to mention on sat or sunday that i thaought was cool. when i went to the bank to deposit my check on saturday. the teller that helped me had been switch to another bank for a few months and was back. When she saw me walk up to her counter space, she goes "wow, you look really good! I know it hasn't been THAT long but what a difference! you look really good!" I told her she didn't look so bad herself and thanked her for the compliment. pretty cool though. just thought i'd share.

oh and bare i would never hurt you!

way to go with the cardio... phew!!!! That would have me on the floor... i need to work up to that... you are kicking my butt in that aspect FOR SURE!!!!!

Wednesday.. wish it were friday...

hi all. I've not been on at night the past couple days so forgive me for not hitting up people's journal's. Today i was on time constraint so i got in 15 min of cardio, but it was still 200 cals and 1.8 miles. I went heavy with weights, just to shock my body. so i did 245 in decline bench, 295 on squats, 155 on military press, 50 lbs db curls, 260 leg extension, 202 leg curl, pull ups and dips too failure, 200 on seated rows, 50 per arm on cable flys, and 90lbs pull overs every thing was 8-10 reps, with the exception of bench, which was 6.. i feel like i have noodles for limbs. solid workout, got some tips on how to develop and better define my lower chest from a guy who started where i'm at now and is now at 8 percent body fat. so that was cool too. no evening workout methinks, much too tired. hope all is well with everyone.

That's an impressive workout...be careful not to bulk up too much or you'll look like the Michelin man swinging a fly-swatter when you're on the tennis court ;)

Oh i've no intentions of bulk, but i figure i wold throw a heavy day in there once every few weeks just to shock the muscles a bit. Picturing Bib(michelin man's name is actually Bibendum, and they call him Bib for short) with a racquet is pretty funny lol. but then again we've done an add where he is arm wrestling a gas pump, so i guess i can see him doing anything lol.
 
Congrats on the 7 miles!! Knew you would do it soon! I bet that made you feel super awesome when the bank teller complimented you. Just wait, im sure there will be many more compliments like that to come. No need to apologize for not visiting diaries....life is a busy thing lol.

That was a kick ass workout today even with the time constraint! Good job man!:)

Thursday

Ok guys just one more day left in the work week! so exciting. Anyway. yesterday was pretty much sushi and bed . today was another 7 miles and 1060 cals burned on the elliptical. tennis this evening for a few hours then probably grilled shrimp and hummus for dinner. i feel kinda tired, but i think i'll be alright. i go up to the school today tofill out paper work, i'll be teaching my first class come sept! kinda cool. hope i have fun!

Congrats on the teaching position too! What age and subject will you be teaching?

Friday aww mah gawd...

so its finally here! friday. but first a word about yesterday. I played tennis for 3 hours. THEN MY EFFIN STRINGS BROKE!!!!. i swear i just got them replace 3 weeks ago! no matter, i gotta have them fixed by 6 today.... i decided i'm going to buy a backup raquet since this has happened 3 times now. maybe it'll be the same one or maybe i may just go newer and this one will be back up. oh well i have an hour to wait before its done, so i will try out some raquets while i wait. today's workout was ok. i did a simple full body, where i hit each area once for two circuits, where usually chest legs and back are hit 3 times then everything else once. I did 20 min of cardio instead of 30, because i wanted to be at work by 7:30. well that's all i got, any questions?
