in about an hour or so (8 pm my time) i'm going to be doing a salsa dance workout...so after approx 45 mins could you be ready with that bucket or hose...y'know for the water you mentioned. thanks...a little rub down would be nice too if you have the time?? let me know LOL...

So you slept for like 2 or 3 hours and went to the gym? Might want to make a small incision so that you can check under your skin to make sure you're not ALL MACHINE under there! Nice job man!

So here it is, not even 7:30 yet and i have been to the gym got a great workout in and now sitting at my desk at work as i type this. I plan to get out of here early! The workout today was nice, arms are tight as ever, and i found out some ways to work my lower pectorals, becak it needs to be stretched back and tightened. my upper chest, is nice and solid, its forming nicely, so now i have to add lower chest into to workout as well, which i am fine with. i hope you guys all have great a friday and had good workouts last night/this morning! legs are still sore from the crazy wednesday workout, but its all good. oh and i got a compliment today on my cardio. the guy next to me on the ellipticals today is a regular that stays on you about the work you put in. he got on me for only doing 6 minutes of cardio, but when i told him i did a mile, he said "really? wow, good cardio then, that was fast!" so that was nice. i usually get a mile in for warm up before weights to get that ole' ticker going, and it usually takes between 5 and 6 minutes. but of course i still do 65 min on opposite days, so it works out. it puts me a little over 3.5 hours of cardio a week, which balances out to 30 min a day, not counting strength training.

a machine? ha! just determined. But like i said in my first post. i don't look like my weight. I am heavy but not terribly big, well especially now. which rocks for me! so yeah xl shirts and 38 pant at 294 seems far fetched, but its what fits. a guy at the gym says i have the foundation and build that every man dreams of. He says all i need to do with this body type is just maintain, since i am naturally muscle heavy and have such a solid build. i told him we'll see when i lose this weight if his assessment is right or not! but even with the fat on me, i can seee cuts all throughout my arms and legs, as well ah the definition in my upper chest. so i am excited with how far i've come and knowing that its only gonna get better keeps me going every day! even yesterday at work during out hacky sack break (yeah we take a break to play hacky sack) the guys were telling me how its very apparent that i am losing weight, despite seeing me 5 days a week. another +1 for reasons to keep going!

hi all. yesterday after work was sooo relaxing, even though i got off work 3 hours later than i expected, i manage to have a good night. today i woke up at 5 am for no reason, no alarm or anything. kinda sucks. hope i get a nap in today sometime. buut i got to play tennis!!! 2 hours of good times. my back survived, even though my whole body is sore from the weight training this week. i work hard baby! i had the upper hand on my friend, even though he had just come from an hour workout at the gym down the road. i told him that was a warm up and stretch, and he said it was a disadvantage because he was already tired.. whatever is what i say. haha. his fatigue showed pretty fast though, of course it doesn't bother me at all any more give me 30 seconds and i am back to normal. anyway. got a couple people i need to post too so see you all soon.
 
One more thing....

Well i didn't really find out where i was, but i was able to bench 275 with little issue. maybe tomorrow i will try 315. wish me luck!
 
I dunno tha tis just his excuse for beign beaten , HA!

I use to go play tennis after working all night long and having a 2 hr nap and i still kicked my partners ass on most days:D:D:D!!!

hey guys. hope all had a good weekend. so today i weighed in and lost nothing. glad to finally get that day out the way.it took 36 pounds to finally happen, so i am happy with that. a lot of reason as to why i lost nothing. i kinda pigged out this weekend, due to unexpected celebrations... hahah. no worries on my end. tennis today, so i am excited about that. i think i may add in a half hour of cardio on weight days, just to burn a little more. It snowed here in michigan yesterday, and pretty bad. however this is michigan, so today is sunny and 50 degrees, which is good enough for tennis! also, i fail at 315 with the flat bench press, but i did get 295 up! i may try 300 in a couple weeks! well gotta shower and head to work. talk to you all later!

that's great! well, it may not before you. but we'll see what happens when you get hoe and realize you done your workout for the day and can sitback and enjoy the rest of you day worry free! that is when it kicks in, when you realized that when the hustle and bustle of everyday life gets going, you don't have to put it to the side to work out. its like you got a jump on the day. even though i am sore already from my workout.... i feel great! now bring on the tennis!

so yesterday i played tennis for 2.5 hours. I was fine, until i stopped. I feel like i have done a full body wokrout! today during cardio was no better, i made my 7 ile quota, but it took some hard work to get there! i almost went back down to resistance 1 (i am currently at 10). I also began to focus more on what parts of parts of my body i work out. i have introduced lower chest and lower back weight training into my workouts now. i work my lower back on days i do core, but never with weights. well not anymore! i realize my lower chest isn't as developed as my upper, and i need to fix that. a lot of my fat hangs on the lower pecks and wraps around back, so i want to start stretching that back and getting it solidified! also i am thinking about upping my cardio. instead of doing 5-8 min ( 1 mile) i'll just do 30 min on weight days 65 on non weight days and see what that does for me. i may forgo it due to the insane tennis sessions. Hopefully i see someone in here today. talk to you guys soon.

Tennis sounds heavenly... wish there were people around here who enjoyed playing!! I think upping th cardio on your "off days" from a mile is a good idea for you. From the sounds of it, 1 mile is waaaay too easy for your body :)


way to read your body though and adjust accordingly. I am happy i am starting to be able to do the same.

hi all!

hey guys, i know i haven't been posting in many diaries, but i promise i'll catch up this weekend. just a bit worn. i can read in the bed, but not type, which is why i haven't replied much.

relly as far as the challenge, i'm thinking about it. with my new routine, not counting tennis, i would but in about 144 miles a month on the elliptical, maybe be a few less. maybe i'll set a goal for 144.

today was crazy. last night was wonderful tennis, and i got a nice workout from it. Today. i did 30 min of cardio then hit the weights which was legs today. it was sooo tough after hitting the elliptical with resistance then going to weights. i was soooo weak, but i am fine now. i hope to lose a crapload of weight this week, after this week's minor setback. hahah. have a good day all

Ive been a lil lazy with having a week off and not exercising for so long and such but I am determind.With starting p90x im not gonna start any grueling routines or get into anything...cuz it will be all i need and then with this milage challenge, I gav myself 200 *EEEKKK*

i must be working hard now!

i totally missed relly's and bl's post yesterday. i don't know how, but i did. Well i guess it comes from working white posting, which ends up taking about 30 minutes to actually finish and post. like now. i started this post at 9:30 and its 9:41 now hahah.

so today's cardio was typical. resistance of 10 and 8 miles in 65 min. getting stronger by the day. legs are sore from leg day, but that is to be expected. but i have a little story for you guys.

I need to start recommending people at the gym to this site. i met a guy yesterday who was working out for the first time. The He was trying to operate the reverse leg curl machine and couldn't figure it out. So i helped him and the first thing he asked was "where are the things to work on your stomach" i told him that won't make you lose it per say, but you will ahve a nice core with fat sitting on top if you only work the core. i explained to him the muscles that makes up his core and 1 exercise that works each group to start him off. I felt so good helping him. well i saw him today and he tells me he wants to lose 50 lbs by june first. i told him not gonna happen. he was like everyone keeps telling me that, so i'm just going to have to prove them wrong! He goes on to say. i just eat one salad a day and that's it. so i tell him ok. you can lose it but you will be significantly weaker and look pretty bad loose skin and all. do you really want your skin to look like drapery? another guy chimes in with an awesome quote. he says. "you say you want to lose weight and keep it off, but you say you are on a diet. what you need to be is on a live it!" i was laughing so hard..

there is another guy who was 391. he is now 292 4 months later. he is loose skin central. we talk, because we are now around the same weight and i tell him that he needs to do more weights because 3 hours of cardio a day won't bring that skin back. i tell him all the time. today another woman, comes out and says to him i see you hear everday and that's great, but you barely touch the weights. they as important and there is no reason to rush the weight off so fast. i chime and tell him you'll be working out to lose then you'll be working just to tighten your skin up. just take it a little slower and do it all at once. hit the weights and not just those machines! get some dumbells and work. his thing is that he doesn't push himself. sure he'll work up a sweat, but he never pushes that threshold of quitting and to keep going. when he gets tired he goes slower. i try to tell him that his body will surprise him if he would just push, but i guess since he is losing he is happy. i want him to be health and slim, his endurance shouldn't be the same coming in as it is going out and it annoys me, because i can't help him realize that. I tell him how i was doing 9-10 mph of the elliptical so i raised the resistance up 10 steps. and started over. all he says is that he can't do that, i'm like you can do whatever you put your mind to. i'm already at 7-8 mph and resistance 10 and when i get to 9-10 i'll move up to 30. it just bugs me when people get so far and stop short for no reason. i'll let you guys know if i can get the flame under their rears. thanks fro reading this insanely long post.
 
so much drama.

it seems a lot of my fans are going through things now, so i will make small post so its easier for them to catch up when they have time to come back.

today was the worst. i went to bed way to late thanks to going to rockband karaoke at a local bar... bad idea. no sleep no cardio at the gym, just weights and i was out. only 45 min, but that is good enough. tennis tomorrow. ok i'm done for now!
