Hi there.

Yesterday afternoon Chris and I were feeling a bit yuk from the carby food so we decided to get out and go for a ride...in the 37 degree heat! Pwoah!!! We rode for 40 minutes and when I got home I was covered in sweat from head to toe. Must have done me really well.

The house warming was fun - the food was fantastic! I just tried a little bit of everything and none of it was really bad at all. The cupcakes on the other hand........she made chocolate and vanilla ones so of course I had to try both! Silly me! It seems anything chocolate does not agree with me....again after eating the choc cupcake I had really bad tummy cramps and had to run to the loo. Our friends had so much food left over that they piled up a plate of cupcakes, savoury muffins & zucchini slice for us to take home. So now I have cupcakes in the fridge..............sigh.

This morning I was 500grams up on the scales. Im not too stressed.... I'll be a bit harder on myself for a few days and I'm sure I'll drop it. Today we're off for a drive to my Dads house (1 hour away) for a bbq lunch - meats & salads which suits me great. This arvo I may do another ride or walk if its not too hot and I'm feeling up to it....

All sounds like fun Kristy. You can probably freeze those cupcakes & bring them out as a treat sometime. Don't end up with heat stroke! xo Cate
 
Hi there

Theres only one left! Chris has eaten 2.5 of them and I had half which was just a couple of bites as they are small. There's one left which Chris will most probably eat later or take to work.

We had a good day out seeing the family. Dad cooks with a lot of oil so I had to use a lot of paper towel on my meat to try and soak up the oil, yuk! Otherwise, the steak's were really nice and tender and the rissoles tasty. I stayed away from the sausages. I was not expecting it but they got me a birthday cake - chocolate! Eek. I had a slither, guess I felt a little obliged but I could have said no *sigh*. It has not made me feel sick which is good.

This afternoon we're just relaxing - its currently 39 degrees so we're going to give the exercise a miss this afternoon. I'll get out there each morning this week and try to work off all these cakes.... notice what my weakness is?????!!!

Hi everyone!

I had a busy monday at work - it was our billing day so didn't stop! Which was good because I want this week to go fast!

I didnt get up to exercise this morning - was so tired and had some sad dreams about my friend that passed away so was not ready to face the day at 5.15am.... I ate only cohens foods today and then when I got home I went for a 30 min walk/jog. It was still a little warm and I ran for 3 x 5 min blocks so I definately burnt some cake calories!!!! woo!

I bought some different yoghurts and thought I should keep the Vaalia Lemon Creme ones as special treats - seeing as they are 160 calories, and I can get the Yoplait Forme yoghurts at 65-75 calories depending on the flavour. Im having one now and they are nice. =o)

Tomorrow morning I'll definately get up and give it all Ive got with the jogging, and I hope to have dropped a little on the scales. Things are settling down for me now with not so many events on in one week, so things will be a bit more easier to manage from here. I am going to steer clear from cakes and sweets and stick to my fruit and yoghurt..... I would really like to see if I am able to get down to around 55 before our engagement party in mid April. If not, its all good... but would be good to see if I can manage to do it!

Heya! Sorry I havent been posting lately, have had a busy couple of days!

Everything is well, weight has crept up a little after a few things I had on this week but I'm being a good girl this weekend. I have been working hard with my exercise and have now worked up to 11 minutes of jogging at around 9-10kms per hour. This morning I went for 5.5kms in 40 mins - feel good!!! Last night we had mexican so I am up a bit because of the carbs.

Im about to have a shower, yoghurt & fruit for breaky, then off to do the food shopping. Then I am meeting my Mum at the shops for her to find a dress for my engagement party coming up! I'll probably just have a coffee there and come home for lunch so I know I'll have a very coheny lunch (prob tuna & salad) - tonight im going out for a girls night but we're all not drinking! 2 of the girls are on cohens and the other 2 just decided they want a night off (and me - well i dont really drink anymore!). Should be fun.

I'll catch up on everyone else's dairies this arvo.

One friend had done it before but has started it again, another friend I got on to it and she has done really well... I think word is spreading about cohens quickly and everyones wondering what this magical program is now!

I have hurt my foot =o( one of the tendons is pulled or something. It has been niggling at me lately but my run this morning has made it worse. I was limping around the shops! The girls night ended up getting cancelled because a lot of people couldnt make it.... and I was one of them with my foot being so sore, I didnt think it would be a good idea to go out in heels etc... I am just resting up tonight on the couch watching movies.

Have had a reasonably okay day eating;

B: Yoghurt & Apple
MT - 2 crackers, banana
L - Chicken Salad from Sumo Salad
AT - Small homemade banana muffin and small choc chip cookie at my friends house, coffee

Dinner is going to be steak and veges and probably some banana & honey yoghurt that I bought today - cant wait to try it out!

Thank you Cate. Its frustrating having to stay home on a Saturday night :( but it will probably do me good to rest. I am actually feeling really tired. About to watch a movie and I think once that is finished I'll probably be in bed!

We are planning to put our bikes on our bike rack tomorrow and ride around the river, should be OK on my foot I think.

By the way Cate - I like your display pic! Very pretty. xoxo

Sorry to hear about your foot- that really sucks! You should probably take it easy for a few weeks until it gets better, I broke my foot once and gave it no time to recover so I am paying for it now as it still gets sore. The more you rest it up the faster it will get better so take care of yourself. I know it must be hard to stay away from the excersise as your so used to it now.

Sounds like your still managing well in maintainence, like I said 'creaming it' lol! You have a good balance of cohenie food and a couple treats here and there so I think your doing great.

Hi there..........

Argh I really dont want to stop my running! As soon as I stop for even 3-4 days I feel that my fitness has dropped and I cant run as long. I'm resting/straping and icing it again today so I'll see how it is in a few days. For now I'll just ride and walk.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm Nicky I'm not sure about creaming it! I am nearly out of my 'safe zone' again after a few too many 'small' treats yesterday that all add up! Today is going to be quiet and I'll stick to very coheny foods and not allowing myself any treats. We'll probably go for a long ride too. This week is pretty clear except for dinner & a movie with a friend on Tuesday, so I'll be extra good and hopefully get back down.

Yesterday I was looking for a specific style/material black skirt. I finally found it in a shop and went through looking for a size 10 (it wasnt stretch material!) and found that there were not any. There was an 8 but I thought no way am I going to get into that. My friend said just try it! And what do you know.........fit perfectly! I was so stoked. I also got 2 really nice bright, colourful tops both in a small. Ahhhhhhh I love shopping for clothes now.... its becoming quite dangerous though, I have been clothes shopping the past 3 weekends! Better stop for awhile now =o)

Hey Kristy, it looks like you are doing so nicely on your diet. Yeah,you did pick up a few grams but you are putting a lot of energy into your exercises though - so that helps a lot!

Did I read right? You are getting engaged? Congrats gal! You are going to look spectacular!!

Just take it a bit easy with that ankle!
 
Hello Miss Size 8! Hope that ankle is starting to heal. If you rest it for a few days your fitness level will quickly come back up again. Do you have really good running shoes Kristy? Kannadew stayed with me a couple of years ago & convinced me to get really good running shoes, instead of going for appearances. They are worth their weight in gold. I have them on today but won't be doing any walking or running in them today as it's raining. Weights day today instead. Have you done any weights since finishing?

Hey Kris, I think Cate is right - it could be your pair of shoes that is not quite right for you. I've heard of people having the same pains as you but when they changed their shoes for running/jogging - they stopped having those pains. So maybe just check that out cuz we all know how much you love your running. :)

Awww, sorry about your foot, hope it's feeling a bit better today, and yes I also hate Monday's heheheh!!

The size 8 skirt had to make up for the sore foot eh, lol, it better had cause it most certainly made me do cartwheels.

When is your engagement party, are you done with all the planning etc??

Hope your Monday if flying, i started an hour and a half earlier today, but get to leave a bit earlier so not complaining too much :)

Hey Mands, Cate, dietgrrl and Ang! Wow! 4 posts since I have been gone...that is awesome! Thanks so much for dropping by.

Mands - yes, I got engaged on Christmas Day!!!! My engagement party is coming up mid April and I cant wait! I think maybe I should start doing some light arm weights to try and tighten up a little bit, my arms are what I'm not really liking still, and my dress is strapless!!!

Cate & dietgrrl - I think you're both right about needing to invest in some proper running shoes. I have some adidas cross trainer ones now which I have had for maybe 18 months. I'de say I am due for some new ones and I need to probably spend a bit more than I can afford! Eek! I'll have to invest in them, it is important that I have the right shoes so I don't hurt myself again! Its annoying me that I just got back into it after getting over my flu, and then I hurt myself! Doh!!!!

Ang - Hi!! so glad you're back and sounding happy. My foot has been strapped up all day and I tried to walk very little on it at work today and just sat down on the balcony at lunch time... it is not feeling that much better though. I decided not to do any exercise today but I might have an early night and get up for an early morning stroll just to get moving, even if it doesn't burn many calories!!! My engagement party is on the 17th April. We both have our full outfits, venue booked (a bar/restaurant function room), decorations and audio equipment ordered, everything pretty much sorted! A friend is making my cake which is exciting because I'll get to help :D

Tomorrow night I am having a quick dinner at nandos (either chicken salad or chicken wrap) with a friend and then we are seeing 'Dear John'. I am a sucker for love stories so I am looking forward to it. We are just sharing a medium popcorn together and my plan is to just have a few handfuls to have a 'taste' and then try my best to stop, I know its not good for you at all... i dont know how ill go though, that stuff is so addictive!! At least we're not getting one each though!

Today I feel like my body has been playing serious tricks on me! I think from my indulgances on the weekend, it is craving sugar. So I've been feeling hungry nearly all day :( i had to kick myself when i went for the cookie jar and had 3 cookies...gr! today was supposed to be a bit of a 'reset' day ... ah well, that was the only thing I did wrong. I'll just move on :)

Anyways, better go and visit some of you lovely ladies dairies! thx again for stopping by and posting :D
 
Kris that's so cool, and it's around the corner. Glad you have everything you need already you actually sound very organised, so over the moon for you, can't wait to see the pics on FB :)
