Hi there! Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I really appreciate you taking the time to post in my journal! It's nice to see someone around here who is similar in age/goals. Good on you for wanting to be health conscious in high school...I know how hard it is. I was up to 145 2 summers ago and lost 15 pounds fairly quickly. Since then I've been hovering around 130...so I understand what it's like to get frustrated. I too was worried about going to college and going bonkers with my weight...thankfully that hasn't happened YET...it's tough though....when all the sweets are just begging for you to eat them.
I used to play soccer too (an interestingly enough sing!) up until my sophomore year in high school. It's interesting...I always weighed more the entire time I played soccer. I played since about third grade...and until I quit I always had extra weight on me. Not that I'm saying soccer is what made me retain the weight, it's just interesting, I think. Once I really started to emphasize the running, the weight came off easily.
By the way...I can't believe you've had a boyfriend for three years! That's incredible...kudos to you for that one.
Keep up the great work! Seems we're quite similar so I'll look forward to hearing about your progress!

your mom should be happy you're not out partying and getting into trouble.
so that will help make it mandatory...but that isn't until Spring. I have to be my own coach until then I suppose.
