Kristi's Diary

*Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh*

that was me letting out a deep breath. I'm moving on with my life.

We lost in the regional finals today 2-1 in overtime. My high school soccer career has come to a close. We are the first in our school's girls soccer program to snatch the district title, first to get to the regional finals. So we have accomplished a lot, but there was a lot of crying and little talking on the bus ride home. I'm going to miss playing with those girls...

On a better note, our guys have advanced on to the state final four, so we can go and support them.

Also, my weight loss plan officially begins at midnight. Tomorrow is the day. My mom and I are writing up a menu, and I am going to create an exercise routine for the upcoming week. Yay! I'm actually excited about this. The only thing I need is an iPod (someone stole my old one >:[

Well I really have to pee so good night to everyone...hope all is going well.

First of all...why do I have such weird smileys showing up?
:conehead::ack2::willy_nilly::hat::cheers2::puke::troll:

Any way...

Mom and I went hardcore grocery shopping today. We spent about $250 on food! We really needed it though. Plus, buying healthy food always gets me excited and motivated to lose weight. We even went to Trader Joe's to get healthier, organic food. Here's some of the food we got...

Breakfast
Blueberry bagels with light strawberry cream cheese
Thick & Creamy Light yogurt
LOTS of fruit (pineapple, strawberries, grapes)

Snack
Cheese and Pretzel Packs
Vegetable sticks
Veggie chips
Pretzel Slims with sesame seeds
Carrots, cucumbers, and green peppers w/ little packs of ranch
Multigrain tortilla chips w/ organic salsa

Lunch
Turkey, Cheese, Lettuce for sandwiches and wraps
Chicken Noodle Soup
About 5,000 lean cuisines
Miso Noodle Soup
Mushroom rice noodle soup

Dinner
Tortellini
Enchilada Casserole
Vegetable Casserole
Lasagna
Chicken and Rice
Pigs in a blanket
Sweet and sour Meatballs
Fajitas

Drink
Bottles of Light green tea
1% milk
Bottles of water

Tada! Wow...we done good. :) Those veggie sticks/chips taste so good! They are a great alternative for potato chips. I can eat 50 sticks for only 140 calories. Also, I am limiting myself to only water, green tea, and milk. Everything else is unnecessary in my eyes.

I bought Centrum Performance vitamins. Do they seem to work for anyone? I haven't taken vitamins since I was little, but my doctor told me I needed to start that up again.

Hey Kristi!

Sounds like your very focused, your definatly going to lose that weight!

I had a look at your photos, your gorgeous! And I swear you look about 120lbs, you look great now.

With your snacks, vegetable sticks are great with hommus or tsaziki. I LOVE carrot sticks, cucumber, celery and capsicum with hommus, so yummy! And low cal too.

Keep up the great work!

thanks Austin!

I seem to have a hard time getting people to comment here, so I love it when I actually do get comments back! Especially ones that say I am gorgeous! By the way...where did you see pictures? I don't remember posting any....

Several people have suggested hummus to me. I'll give it a try! Not sure what tsaziki is?? I'm definitely up for anything, however!

On the previous page you have some pics up.
I am pretty sure tsaziki is an eggplant dip, its pretty good. Doesnt compare to hommus though, its pretty yummy spread on bread too.

oooh! Well the one of the kitten isn't me! :) I completely forgot about those!

Looks like enchilada casserole is for dinner tonight! Yuuuum!

I'm going to make my menu for tomorrow...

Breakfast
Blueberry bagel

Snack
Veggie Chips

Lunch
Turkey and cheese sandwich
Veggies with ranch

not sure about dinner

Hi Kristi,

I agree with Austin that you look great already. :)

Nice job with the grocery shopping. Go easy on the lean cuisines--they're full of sodium which makes you retain water.

Sorry your team lost, but you have much to be proud of regardless. I think it's fantastic that you made it as far as you did. :D

The best way to get people to post in your diary is to post in others (I'm not sure if you're doing that or not.). I'd stay away from mine unless you don't mind reading a bunch of sexual innuendo and general pervertedness. All of the WLF pervs seem to be drawn to my diary like moths to a flame. :sifone:

Booo!

My boyfriend is going to the game, but I will certainly be watching it on tv!

Thanks about soccer. I am incredibly proud of what we did, but the loss is still fresh in my mind. I still have a vivid picture of the girl shooting the ball and it just sailing past my goalie. I was standing right there, so it seemed to be in slow motion. I didn't get much sleep last night thinking about it. I think I'll be okay tonight...I just know that I am going to miss it so much. Soccer is what I live for.

LeanCuisines are my escape when I come home and am too tired to actually throw something together. Not the healthiest alternative, but probably the easiest.

Skipping school today

Had the blueberry bagel for breakfast, and it seriously tasted like heaven. It was amazing. lol and then I just had about 3/4 of a turkey wrap and some chips and salsa for lunch. All together that is around 800 calories so far. pretty good.

I am going to do this stair thing that I used to do last year when it was snowing and I didn't have a gym membership. I would run up and down my stairs in a regression kind of ladder thing. First I run up 10 times, then 9, then 8, and so on.

And....I think I am going to weigh myself.:svengo:

Well...did the stair thing, and it was good except for the fact that it took 20 minutes top for me to complete. If I want to keep doing it I need to add some other stuff in there to make it at least 30 minutes.

Sorry to hear you and your BF are fighting. That is never easy. That's awesome you got all that yummy and nutritious food, that will make the whole menu/diet thing go a lot smoother. I sometimes eat Lean Cuisines too. They are quick for when you don't have a lot of time or don't want to take a lot of time to make something. I also eat the South Beach meals too, esp. the wraps. They are pretty tasty.

Keep up the good work :)
Have a great night!

-Sam

I am TIRED.

Woke up at 4:30 am this morning to work the polls, which I ended up not even doing. Went to school. Drove an hour and a half to go watch the boys final four game (We're going to the 'ship!) then drove home! I'm so exhausted...

and...

I had mcdonalds! and not even halfway decent stuff. Ergh...

I'm so excited for our guys though, so I can't spend too much time being mad at myself. They deserve to win it. Their coach deserves it more than anyone. He's a single father of 2 beautiful girls that trail him to every practice, every game. And this past summer, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He has chemo 2 times a week on top of caring for his daughters, and leading a boys team to the state championship. When we were still in the tournament, he gave us a speech with a theme of finishing. He compared the game to his therapy, and how he knows going into the hospital that it is going to be a challenge, that he will throw up, but he fights to just finish it, and we needed to do the same with every header, slide tackle, shot. Just finish. We were all in tears by the end of his speech. So I just want the boys to finish it for him...and I want him to get better.

Dont worry too much about the mcdonalds, its hard keeping to a diet when your on the road!

Their coach sounds like a really inspirational guy, I hope they the championship!

Hey wanted to drop by and say howdy and GL with meeting your goals,
I saw you were from ohio right acroos the river from where I live.
Hope you have a wonderful day Tammy:waving:

Hello. In addition to this you can do some bodyweight exercises and such.

McDonalds, yum. I just had a #2 the other day. If I go there, I usually order the $1 menu to avoid the fries.

I eat frozen meals, too. I just try to keep it to 2 or less a week. When I go to McD's I usually get the bacon ranch salad w/low cal balsamic dressing. It's really tasty, and only 300 calories, but I recently discovered that the grilled chicken in it is full of sodium--like 1700mg!! That irritated me, b/c who would've thought a SALAD would have so much freakin' sodium? Oh well. I'll still eat them sometimes--it's still way better than a massive burger and fries..lol.

That is so cool that your guys made the final! :hurray::hurray: Their coach sounds like an incredible guy. I hope he gets better. :)

Sorry you and the bf aren't getting along atm. :ack2:

Niapage...I love Kentucky! I went to Louisville for a soccer tournament and wouldn't have mind staying there. It was so pretty, and the people were very friendly.

Tony...I was actually considering that as soon as I was done working out. Seeing that I would like to focus on my butt area, I think I am going to start doing some dead lifts, weighted lunges, and possibly even squats if I am really motivated. Could I do this every other day or is that too much?

Bikini...once I finish off the ones I have...I'm done. I'll give you my word on that because I don't like the high sodium counts either. :/ Why does life have to be so complicated as actually making a sandwich?:p

Breakfast today is 2 pumpkin muffins and a cup of french vanilla yogurt, which adds up to 420. Higher than usual, but not terrible.
