I was on the island yes bu tnot for long and we were busy.We came to see High School Musical on Ice in Victoria with my parents.It was awesome, we all had a blast:)Taneesha hasnt stopped talking about it.

I will be down for Spring Break if all goes well...I def wanna look into getting together!

Changed my ticker as I just noticed in my records today that I started at 202 on January 19th. Wow that's 5 pounds in three weeks less a day. Also took quick measurements this morning and they are going down plus I can cinch my belt a notch tighter. Its a lot of work but its coming.

My gym exercises are getting slightly easier or I am getting better at doing them. For push-ups on the smith machine I could only do 6 6 and 4 at first. Yesterday I did 9 9 and 6. Working my way up to 15. By the time I get to my military press my heart is really pumping. Abs exercise was the best form yet yesterday.

Yeh, five pounds lost. I've done this before. I should be able to lose 20 by friends wedding on April 16.

Roy is getting back from Hawaii and I will be happy to tell him my results.

Keeping a handwritten food journal which is going really well. Reading lots of fitness magazines and even subscribed to Oxygen magazine. Also bought The Fat Burning Solution by Tom Venuto from Amazon.com. Can't wait to get it. :party:

You are doing great and very motivated and a way different KELLY that a few months ago,I can smell your willpower and motivation all the way down here in KENTUCKY lol!!!
Keep up the gr8 work and I took a lil of your advice after I made "THE SOUP"lol I so missed my protien and said to myself there is no way I can eat this morning day and night so I am using my soup for snacking and sides with my meals,I missed my baked chicken and my eggbeaters all things healthy that the soup diet didnt alow all tho it was only for 7 days lol I can gaurentee I would go insane.:smilielol5:

After four or five weeks of one routine my trainer gave me a complete new routine yesterday that will be very challenging for me. I have to learn the moves and then do them fast.

Warmup - Hack squats, as many as I can
Leg press 3 x 20 @ 130 I think

Split squats no weight
D.B. squats with 20 lbs
3 sets of 15

Standing back pull

D.B. Chest press
Bentover Barbell Row

In the last 3 weeks I've lost 6 pounds, 6.5 inches and 2.12% body fat.

Roy discussed my food journal with me and gave me other pointers.
Have received Tom Venuto's The Bodyfat Solution book, which is really great.

The thing that bugs me is how my weight fluctuates back up after a loss. It is discouraging but tom says to see problems as challenges and failures as feedback. Anyone can be optimistic when the results are good but its when they are bad that a positive attitude will help me through. I have started a page in my food journal to note my daily weights as hopefully notice a t rend. Maybe my period is coming up.
 
Down another pound today so I've made a new ticker.

The hardest thing I'm finding is not eating after 7.

The next hardest thing is remembering and trying really hard not to eat in the middle of the night any tasty food that might be available in the kitchen. I was given a Sara Lee frozen cake the other day and I threw the whole thing in the garbage so that it wouldn't be available. When I have to get up to pee in the night I just tell myself - "Get back to bed, get back to bed, it's sleep you need not food". So those are my challenges right now.
 
Meal 1 oatmeal, egg and egg whites, weight watchers toast with little butter and honey, coffee with cream and splenda

Meal 2 whey shake with 12 almonds
Meal 3 3 oz chicken and broccoli
Meal 4 1/2 cup low fat yogurt with 1/2 blueberries and ground flax
Meal 5 3 oz ground buffalo, 1/2 cup brown rice and broccoli (could substitute a different veg but that 's what I've bought)
Meal 6 whey shake

No idea the calories. Put my calculator away which is a bit of a relief. Trainer suggested I eat the same every day for a week, walk every day in addition to what I'm doing and he's looking forward to seeing me on Saturday. So its going great.

In a week I lost 1 1/2 inches off my abdomen - the other measurements stayed the same but it seems I'm losing belly fat. Yeh.

I'm a tiny bit hungry during the day between meals but fill up with water. Its bedtime now and I'm hungrier. We'll see how the night goes. I'm super hungry in the morning when I wake up and can barely wait for my breakfast!

Lost 7.5 pounds since January 19.
 
good morning..you sound very motivated...doing things like throwing that sarah lee cake away EMPOWERS YOU..it means you choose YOU before food...

keep up the great work....
 
Did weights today, rode bike for 20 minutes, had a bath and then walked for 1 1/2 hours. Ate meals. Roy suggested a goal of 178 by the end of the month.I know I can do it.
 
Well the week is almost up and my weight has stayed the same. I'm tired and need to take a rest. Still, I adhered to my six meals and only had a medium coffee with cream and splenda as a treat this afternoon. I'm starting to wonder the calorie content of my mini meals. Tomorrow will make two weeks I've followed this lean menu. I'm a little bit hungry but its tolerable and I'm impressed that I can adhere to it without much difficulty. Phew, I'm pooped. Life has been busy these past few days. Move the clocks forward on Sunday.
 
Lost two pounds last week. I overtrained, adding 1 1/2 hour walks nearly every day and my legs are really tired and I'm feeling a bit depleted. I'm going to take a few days off and recharge. Still adhering to my six fixed meals a day and drinking lots of water.

Starting to wonder what keeps people working out and working hard once they lose weight. I mean weight loss is my goal now, but what happens once you achieve a more normal weight???
 
nice work loosing 2 lb :)

for me, if i don't workout i get irritable and short tempered and if i miss more than one workout i i begin to get depressed. regardless of weight loss etc. working out provides stress relief.
