K1nS03 weight loss diary

I roughly do an hours walking :)

That is good. if you walk on roads you can plot your course on mapquest and get your mileage and figure out your calorie burn. it will help you put every thing in perspective. I used to use a pedometer but i ended up doing the same path over and over again and I knew the distance haha.

Oh thanks! That sounds like a good idea. At the moment we are still getting used to the area and not 100% sure on where everything is so we are kinda walking everywhere just to explore at the mo, would deffo come in handy in a few weeks though :D

Hi.. You seem to have a good plan goin for you!
I dont always eat fruit (even tho i should) but when i do its lovely, it just the habit i cant get into..but if ur looking for a way to get more you should juice it.. Or if u have a blended (even the handheld ones) just get some natural (frozen or normal) yougurt, a banana, few strawberries and some orange juice, mix it all together and voila!a gorgeous Healthy smooties...
Obv u could use other fruits but they are my faves..
They give ya loadsa vitimans plus they are filling and keep u going for ages:)
Just a thought, u dont have to use it if ya dont want!
Either way, good luck in ur weight loss!!!!!
:D

way to go keep up the good work!

Another day, another start :) Last night I was terrible and had the muchies so bad!! :( I managed to not eat crap though and drank instead, then I went to bed and thought nothing else of it :) When I got up this morning though, I did weigh myself (something I said I would only do once a week which would be every Tuesday) but I couldnt resist, ive lost 1lb :) Not going to put it as official weight loss though until my "real" weigh in day. Its just made me feel better knowing that somethings happening with all this hard work :hurray:

good work, i find that eating a pickle or two ( 0 cals) and drinking a glass or two of water will often times help me fight off that late night snack attack.

Hey doll.
If you hit the ground running, reaching that size 12 jeans may not take as long as it may seem!
In late June of 2010, I was wearing a size 20 jeans, and a couple weeks ago, I picked up a pair of size 10 skinny jeans that look great on me.
If you've dieted before you probably already know this, but in case you haven't, once the weight starts coming off, it becomes a natural high and, with the right balance, a solid, HEALTHY addiction.

What means are you using to lose weight, food-wise?
Also, take advantage of being out of work (sucky as that is; I'm sorry :() to get a jumpstart on moving more; I've also had the luxury of limited work hours over the past six months, so I've had a lot of time to get an exercise regimine going.

Best of luck to you!

wow thats really inspired me! Dropping from a size 20 to a 10 is just amazing, well done!! At the moment, im just eating more healthy. I was having take away pretty much 3-4 times a week ekkk! And my portion sizes have been terrible, I was getting to the stage where if my stomach wasnt hurting when I had finished eating, I wasnt full. So its the challenge of training myself again. This week though seems to have been pretty easy-ish, I thought I would struggle really bad but I seem to have been fine :) Its in the evenings when I get my munchies though which is a pain because I dont want to give in after ive done so well all day :( Im eating more fruit now, eating alot less at meal times, not having any sweets or take aways and do you know what? I dont miss them all that much
