Afternoon Jewels! I'm here!! I'm like you losing inches right now and no weight. My scale has not moved a pound in 3 weeks, I think I'm building up my muscle and toning. I had three people comment to me last week that I am losing a lot and getting smaller, which if three different people noticed, then I'm happy! :) But as we both know, the scale screws with us, so I'm trying to stay away for a while to get my momentum back up. Your party sounds like BIG FUN! I would love to dance the night away and have a great bon fire. YEAH!! I'll be leaving Thursday for a short vacation, but will be back Saturday night. I just wanted to give you a heads up in case I'm not able to stop by again and post before Wed. Your doing GREAT!! And you sound so excited in your posts, I'm very proud of you. Tomorrow with mother, she decided not to stay the night after all but she comes early and leaves late. We decided on two museum exhibitions and a couple of galleries, so we'll have a busy day. :)

I was thinking about the small scale change thing. Not only is an inch off your waist really nice - and of course not a small change - but at the size you are, relatively small changes are very visible in proportion to the rest of you anyway. I bet that inch really shows up beautifully! :)
 
LOL, I've had salmon and avocado and nuts on the same day, PLUS olive oil. Talk about lots of fat! But like you say, it's all the good kind.

Something you never hear a guy say:

"Wow I thought she was hot, then I found out she weighed 10 more pounds than I reallized."

Something you never hear a doctor say:

"You are in perfect health. All your numbers are terrific, however by my scale you should lose 10 more pounds."

Something they don't say in shops:

"Oh I didn't know you weighed that much. I don't care how those pants fit, you need to get a bigger size."

Weight is a number and a symptom of the good stuff. Better to look and feel healthy than have a scale tell you that you are.

Hey!
I'm sitting here, drinking my water.
It's getting exciting. I have one day to go before the weigh-in for my midsummer goal and my scales this morning threw me a surprise. Suddenly there's 4 pounds more of me than yesterday. Funny. The number is actually higher than where I started from over three weeks ago. I can think of a few factors causing this. The pasta yesterday was full of sodium. I didn't drink my usual amount of water, being out there walking around the whole day with my mom. Right now there's only so much I can do to make this better. More water, no stressing over this and doing everything as usual are on my to-do-list. And believe me, whatever the scales say tomorrow morning, I won't care. I'm still very comfortable in my high school era bermudas. :D
Today I'm going to the gym for weights. I'd love to go running, as the weather's very nice for a change, but I'm gonna do the weight training first and then see, if I still have energy for running.

hmm those numbers sometimes can be such a mystery... i've given up asking y. Chose to set the scale aside for a few days and see if it'll give me a big discount 2 weeks later. :p
