Journey, Not A Destination

hockey is the one game that I prefer watching on television... it makes it easier to see what's going on - Idon't have a vested interest in any team - I just don't care who wins... it's just fun to see well played games...

Well the guy's lucky you didn't whoop his ass he he.

I was checking on your progress vis a vis the scale but I see you're on a well-deserved break. As for me, I'm looking a little better from the past month but my weight is up one pound. Now I KNOW I didn't gain 3.5 lbs of muscle (I shouldve lost around 2.5 lbs with the deficit) so what's up I have no idea.

Have a good one.

Water, poop, whatever, lol.

If you're looking better that's all that really matters.

See, I'm different...

I find it easier to follow what's going on when I'm there.

But yea, good hockey is hard to beat. And so far the Flyer's games have been exciting as all hell.

Could be all kinds of thing... I would probably put my money into a water/glycogen balance issue. More importantly, how are those measurements? and clothes fitting?

I'm looking SLIGHTLY better, not markdedly. There's no reason I would be retaining any more water or the other one you mentioned than usual. Well, I'm frustrated as usual but I dont have a choice but to keep up the exercise. Grrr

By any chance you didn't eat out somewhere or anything like that to spike your sodium? Weird little things do that all the time... looking SLIGHTLY better is always 100% better than looking the same. :)

I don't know anyone who can make marked improvements in that amount of time. Especially not a naturally dieting woman who might have some metabolic issues.

You're body doesn't really need a reason.

Diets in general can screw with these sorts of things.

Exercise AND nutrition.

And that's about the only attitude you can take.

And make sure you keep managing expectations.

Oh how I missed you.

Not even an email letting me know you're alive.

I should hurt you, ya know?

So I'm 'working' from home today. I decided to since it's been a pretty hectic week and I'm sick of people nagging me at work. Rather than loose my cool, figured I'd chill out at home.

Plus, I have a secret love for video games, lol. I have barely played. Probably 10 times over the past year to be honest which is far from a 'gamer.' But I love playing nonetheless. I got sucked into all the hype of the new Grand Theft Auto and ran out and bought it. It's pretty fun so I'll screw around with that today too, I'm sure.

I'm heading out to Gordy's tonight to work on the website. We'll actually be shooting videos. Unfortunately he has to work until 7. So it will be a late night. Then I'm coming home tomorrow morning to babysit my little cousin with Krista. I love that guy... though his mom refuses to leave him alone with me, haha. He says I teach him too many bad things. I don't try, but he completely mimics everything I do.

Then Gordy is coming down my way tomorrow afternoon to edit.

Should be a pretty busy weekend with some boozing and fun mixed in there. :)

that's what the cool uncle is supposed to do... jeesh.. who else is gonna teach the boy?

keep it up :)

and have fun playing your game... and working with gordy.. (all work and no play makes for a very dull website -so have lots of fun too - not that you won't :D but having the mal seal of approval makes it all better :D

We seem to have trouble managing the fun:work ratio.

And I promise it's not slanted in favor of the work side, lol. And to think, we wanted to be open for business in less than 4 weeks.

and you have a mountain to climb in the meantime... :)

you'll climb both the mountain and get your site launched in due time... when it's ready it will be ready and it will be fantastic :)

Thanks Mal.

I was about to kill Gordy. He got a few t-shirts made... actually only 2 so we could see if we liked the quality of this place. He's been wearing them around his gym like a moron.

he's excited... :)

or is getting in touch with his feminine side or something - wanting to wear new clothes... :D

I guess they turned out Ok - if he's wearing them... How does the logo lookon the shirt and what color shirt did you go with?

so many questions... :D

I haven't even seen the shirts yet but he says they're really good. I'm in the midst of getting a hat made but that's real pricey... we won't be able to get them in bulk. But I love hats and to get it done at lids.com is very easy.

I think imentioned them before - but will also put logos on pretty much anything imaganinable -f rom tshirts to hats to bags for the crunchy hippies who shun plastic shopping bags

the tshirt they use s the hanes tagless t- so it's a fairly good quality shirt and their graphics work is pretty good...

hats are very cool - and so totally you :)

I totally forgot that link Mal! Thanks!!

I'm emailing it to Gord right now. Getting quality t-shirts at a reasonable bulk price is his job. He needs something to do, lol.

and I know you guys aren't iin it for the money but one of the 'neat' things about cafepress -and their competitors as well (zazzle.com is another) is you can set up a storefront and sell your shirts/hats/stuffs -for a profit if you want..

That is cool.

We are in it for money. Ideally I can make a living enough off this company so I get out of finance completely. I'm just not in it to sell things just for the sake of making money, which most other 'gurus' do. Even the good ones. They have great products. And I don't care if the sell shirts and stuff... if people want them... go for it. Don't create products just for the sake of making money though...

Many rehash old shit or promote products even though they don't truly stand by them.

That's not me.

I'm about honesty and quality, is all.
