Ha, that used to be my schedule.

Now it looks something like this:

Work ----> Workout -----> Go home to wife

Hahaha, such drastic changes I've made.

But too, I can't complain.

It's something that we've considered. It's one way to reach more people in a limited amount of time. Gordy's goal is to diminish the number of one-on-one appointments he has at his gym, they take a big cut from him.... he ends up giving the gym like 45k per year!

Ideally, we're looking for ways to maximize revenue and minimize time devotion with regards to the in-person training settings. Again ideally, this will drive the website and give us the most free time to work with individuals on the web-capacity, this being the primary goal for now.

This is not to say we are trying to short-change people in the group fitness settings by any means though.... it's just about numbers per hour. Many people in corporate america don't take the time to go to the gym so bringing the gym to them is a good start to changing some people I think.... that's why I don't necessarily have a problem with it.

Group fitness is definitely not going to be one of our primary targets though. Just a niche service we'll provide. And we'll see how I like working with these people tomorrow. They seemed very unmotivated in our first meeting and only a few were into the idea. I'm not trying to twist arms. I only want to work with people who want to change. At this point in my life, I don't need to twist arms, thankfully.

I'll all about motivating people. I understand some need a nudge in the right direction. But I'm sure as shit not begging anyone to listen to or pay me.

End goal.....

Open our own studio/gym while still maintaining a successful website.

We'll see how it progresses.
 
your plan and goals are well thought out - not that I'd expect anything less of you...

that's very cool and I look forward to see how this develops and morphs a bit...

Thanks Mal.... and me too.

Right now things just feel so right. And at this stage of the game in my life, it's so not about the money. I couldn't care less what we make in all honesty. It's simply about doing something I love with my truest friend in the world.

I don't know if I believe in destiny or not, but that is how right this feels.

I've learned that lesson the hard way.... and truer words haven't been spoken.

Money is great and all, but to have that as your sole target or purpose as many I know do is misleading and usually doesn't end good.

Life's to short to have such a shallow purpose.
