Journey, Not A Destination

Heya Steve, just checking in to see how your weekend treat ya!

You're such a great guy, a real hero, constantly encouraging and advising others who want to look and feel as awesome as you do. Just wanted to let you know that, too.

So kudos! :waving:

you should definitely try out for AG next season - if it lasts more than a few episodes... man what a disappointment that show was... It wasn't like I remembered at all...

Have yourself a superb monday

Alright, man... I'm not sure if you were able to catch the premiere of AG tonight (Sunday), but let me just say this.... I know the AG back in the days was cheesy, but fuck me.... this is over the top cheese.

No shit.

I was disappointed. I was really hoping they'd turn it into a sport, which they could have done easily. But no, they had to go and make it gayer than hell.

That guy crying at the end, I just wanted to smack the hell out of him.

I wasn't impressed by most of the Gladiators really, which was a bit disappointing. My heart broke when I saw Gina "The Conviction" Carano (I LOVE her) as one of the gladiators. Bah... she needs to stick to MMA and Muay Thai kickboxing.

Ya, that's bad for her image.

And this fucking guy (see attached), I swear, I'm trying out just so I can beat his ass.

I mean, are they serious?

Also... is it me or did that Hellga broad strike you as, "OMG.. are you serious??? She's really a Gladiator?? She must be one of the producers daughter or wife." I'm all about big girls, but she lacks that thing called "quick reflexes." It's a sad sad day for Sheryl. Boo hoo.

Yea, she's pretty bad. It would be one thing if she was athletic. But she's seems piss poor.

PS I love Toa aka The Polynesian Gladiator. HA!

Hahaha, I was too busy being shocked by the gladiator in the attached picture.

I still would like to try out.

I can't believe how tired the contestants were in the eliminator. It must be harder than it looks... but I swear, I'd go in there conditioned. Some of their attempts were pathetic.

that's what happens when they make hulk hogan the host...

it will appeal to a certain demographic but I'm over it now...

I didn't catch Gladiators last night, but I'm hoping NBC has it up on their website. Now I'm kind of disappointed...oh well. Have a great week Steve!

Good afternoon Steve!

Just wanted to let you know that I had a preWO meal yesterday and it seemed to really make a difference. I had more energy during class and I didn't feel as fatigued afterward. I also upped my cals and that too has made me feel better. I honestly felt like real shit all last week from not getting enough nutrients. Thanks for all the help... I hope it's a good week!

Very glad to hear this.

Happy for ya. :)

*sad panda*

this gladiators is more like Running Man than it is American Gladiators... The gladiators now are just hyped roid-monsters (even MORESO than the past), and just didn't even look like competitors... they looked more like ken dolls.

I mean, I'd still go on there and show the roiders what specific training and a controlled non-roid rage burn can do, and maybe throw a 'bow in a face or two... but as far as watching it... I'd rather watch reruns.

happy wednesday

Yup.... can't wait. I'm driving out to Gordy's house tonight at around 11. Won't get there until about midnight. We are planning on doing some work then and really hitting the pavement running tomorrow morning.

We also have our first corporate client we are meeting with tomorrow which should be fun.

It's an interesting dynamic. We've been training people in Gord's home gym on the side. He's got a full book at his gym. And I've picked up a couple of clients at my gym on the side. I don't really want to head in that direction though. I'm more interested in e-training and save the one-on-one stuff for group fitness settings in 'corporate america.'

I'll also always keep my one-on-one stuff going with the hyper-obese cases that come across my 'desk.'

I'm not sure how it will pan out yet, but exciting nonetheless. I'm having fun thinking about the possibilities.
