Thanks, and back atcha!

Yup, I'm *trying* to bulk right now. I'd call it a half-assed attempt..... but the scale is going up slowly. Having trouble getting back up over 200, but it will come. Good thing is fat is not coming on nearly as fast as it did my last bulk.

Are you trying something new this time around?? Are you eating any differently than you did before? You drink that protein powder too right? A guy in my office does that once a day, it's not that bad, but damn is it expensive. Is there a cheap place to purchase a canister?? Maybe GNC?

What am I doing differently?

Hmmm, not being as consistent with my caloric intake. Gaining weight for me isn't easy.... ya I know. People hate hearing that. But trust me.... if you were me with my goals, it can be a pretty big pain in the ass. Eating becomes a job.

That said, I've just go so much going on right now that it's tough to get the cals in consistently.

Although I don't feel quite as bad... I've been chatting with a guy over on fitness.com who is losing weight eating 4000+/- per day!

Protein prices have gone through the roof as of late due to inflationary preasure from dairy. :( How much is he paying. I get mine for 30 some bucks per tub and each tub is 2.5 lbs. I could probably find a different kind cheaper... but I'm picky as hell when it comes to the taste and I've been using this particular brand for years.

I've been thinking about testing other brands/flavors though.

WAAAH WAAAAH WAAAAH... :):nopity:

:D

Professional eater - that'd be a job i could handle :) sort of.. but alas I'd just be bigger than I already am and not look like you do.. so yeah it's work.. cuz you're doing more than just eating...

Eating gets old too. It's not like I'm stuffing down cupcakes and candy.

I mean I do eat those things.

But a majority of it is meat and veggies.

There's nothing magical about protein powder. But if you have trouble getting adequate protein in your diet through whole foods, it is a great source.

Lots of olive oil on vegetables and parmesan cheese :)

You don't need cupcakes to pack on the calories :)

you're just an amateur when it comes to eating - oh the things you could be taught :)

Yeah, I know a lot of good receipts to fatten you up. MMMMMM I love Italian food, I should be living in Italy. Red wine and pasta, leaves me weak in the knees. Load up on plenty of pasta and Alfredo that should do the trick. I only WISH I could consume 4000 calories a day, I can't even imagine that much food, WOW.:coolgleamA:

Yeah, back in highschool I weighed a measly 118 pounds at 5.6 that was thin. I would eat a whole large pizza (supreme) to myself, and half gallon of Mint Chip ice cream a week, NEVER gained a single pound. Until of course I had kids a few years later, that about did me in.

The secret though is finding the right balance of calories and macros that leads to as much muscle growth as possible while sparing as little fat increase as possible.

This makes it not so simple.

Trust me, it's not a free ticket to eat all that I want.

It's crazy the changes some women experience after pregnancy. Those damn hormones.

I knew that :)

You work hard in your direction -- the rest of us can go in the other direction.. ya see I have theory for every lb a person loses - someone has to gain that pound so.. it seems fair actually that you need a few - and we want to dump a few.. it's the circle of life :) or something..

I've put in an lot of hours and havent had a day off in a very long time my brain is somewhat cooked right now :)

Hormones?? NO, it was two HUGE boys in growing at one time, that completely stretched my stomach out to it's maximum capacity that really did it!! Plus, my desire for hot fudge sundaes and tootsie rolls didn't help at all :drool5:either.

Hiya Beth.

Things are going well. I actually just got off a long call with Gordy, my partner in the webstie. We scheduled a tele-conference for tomorrow morning to get the ball rolling again. I also took off from work next Friday and we are going to start filming videos for the site. It should be up and running come summertime.

We've got pretty much content generated, a website name, some pictures. But there is still MUCH to do.

Some highlights of what we are thinking of having include:

Monthly Newsletter
Monthly Episode
Exercise of the Week
Loads of exercise videos
Recipes
Calculators
Training Services
Forum

I'm sure I'm leaving some things off, but definitely exciting.

Thanks for asking. :)

That sounds really good, Steve! I am so glad that it is going well for you guys! I am sure the end result will be awesome!
