Morning Steve!! today is day 2 of the STEVE workout plan. I hope tomorrow I'm not crawling into work looking like a maniac transient. LOL :doh: I'm looking forward to the challenge, and the best part, I'll be using my sons weights/weight bench at home and see if I can get it done there without going to the gym. *****note to self, Remember good form****** :) Have a good day today!

Since all I have been doin' is lots of walkin' and cardio, I've only had a couple of sore days..

After doin' all this new stuff geared towards certain areas my body is freakin' out! lol

I swear I'm walkin' around like I'm freakin' 90...TeeHee!

Yesterday I did weights and I must say I had so much energy.....I incoporated sets with heavy and sets with medium, and it felt good. I was surprised how much more my muscles burned with the 10-12 reps and lighter weights...I'd been doing as heavy as possible for so long my damn-efficient body got used to it....as its apt to do. Well, thanks for the advice. Re-comp is along the way, I'm eager to look good for Halloween and post some pics! Abs are already shaping up nicely. Have a good day!

So Steve, for the past 3 weeks I've done the following routine, whaddya think? I got this from I think it was testerone nation or whatever its called, I believe Trevor had posted the link. BTW, I know I should get more days in but I never seem to manage more than 2 days of weights, with maybe a few mins for a third day when possible.

Day 1: 2 sets/15 reps - 2 chest exercises, 2 back, 3 leg, 2 ab
Day 2: 2 sets/8 reps - 2 chest, 2 back, 3 leg, 2 ab
Day 3 if time: 2 shoulder, biceps, triceps between a more cardio focused workout (like 10 or 15 mins of cardio, then 1 or 2 weight exercises, another 15 of cardio, just to break up the boredom really).

Day 1 is designed to maximize fat loss by stimulating lactic acid in various parts of the body so you're supposed to switch up different body parts like chest, then legs, then back, back to chest etc. I dunno..I just like being able to do medium weights one day and heavy the next for a variation to take away the monotony.

I usually do DB chest presses, flys, seat row machine, lat pulldown, step-ups, deadlift, leg curls, leg press or whatever I feel like varying in.

Don't worry about making it in here Tammy.... it's always nice to have visitors, but I have no expectations from anyone.

less than 45 minutes and there's really no point to it -unless it's a wakeup treat :) then quickies are ok :D

It's not how I would set up the programming. But it's certainly fine. And there is no right or wrong, just being honest. And if you like it, that's what counts.

I'd rather see some heavier stuff worked into that someplace, think reps of 4-6.
 
Oh yah, it's Friday...thank you-know-who. I loathe getting up at 5am for work. :mad:
