(after a morning workout)
WHOOHOO
I had a pretty good day yesterday but fell asleep really early (like 8:30pm on the couch). It drives my wife crazy when I can't stay up because the only alone time we get is from 8:30 - 10 when the kids are in bed. However, the workouts and decreased calories make me so tired at the end of the day!
I woke up late this morning (go figure) but still made it to the gym for 'Leg day'. This is the one workout day I actually FEEL strong. I can do really heavy lifts and see my leg muscles. Upper body is a different story.
Tonight is our cheat meal so I'm taking it pretty easy on food today. Hopefully the extra calories will be used up by my leg workout and build me some muscleNot sure if that is scientifically possible, but I like to visualize it that way. I'm trying to drink TONS of water today to combat the extra soduim I am bound to consume this evening.
Tomorrow I have another rest day and then I plan to hit the gym hard this weekend! Happy losing everyone!
Nice job on the weight!! I used to lift quite a bit when I was younger. I still do it now but not as much. I used to love/hate leg day. I was always strong in the legs but when I was done my leg day workout felt like I couldn't walk. I remember having to crawl up the stairs at home some mornings. Ahhh memories-lol.
