Feel a lot more happy today, but I have a cold that's kickin my butt... I'm convinced its cuz I haven't taken my multi in two weeks (my bad) but I just got caught up in the holidays and kept forgetting. Ya can bet that won't be happening again :eek:
Worked all day again, 84 hours this week between the 3... thank God next week should be back to my normal 56 hours!! I'm really anxious to get back to the gym, kinda for a selfish reason, lol, I don't have cable at home, and all the good stuff is on late at night at the gym :D
will be busy over the weekend, training new people and sleeping, will seeya'll Monday-ish!! :)
 
Haha keep up the good work Jess. and Enjoy the cable at the gym!! :) I'll be posting some easy recipes for you soon!
 
Yay!! Monday started my counting again:

L.C. Panini Chicken Spinach and mushroom 280
Total probably around 1100... woulda eaten some veggies, but i don't have any clean dishes- my sister refuses to do em, shes driving me crazy!!
Also- a bit dissapointed, but not totally- Katie, my workout partner, didn't want to work out tonight. Yes, i could go by myself, but I have tons of cleaning (and apparently the dishes) to do, so I'll still burn lots of calories... "sigh" No cable tonight... :(

wow ive never heard of 24 hour gym that is so cool you get to use it at work - :D
i think i read your in Montana i am just over the border from you - went to great falls in october to get my puppy and have been to stay in whitefish - i love Montana!
 
gotta love those 24hr gyms! Lol. :) I love going early in the morning at 5:30 for ours its, as early as they open, but its great.. nobody is really there!!

Sounds like you're doing excellent Jess.. keep on chuggin! :)

Montana isn't so bad, most people think its a big ol' hick state, but thats not entirely true, :) I'm in Billings, which is the biggest city here, but is still pretty tiny compared to some places....
Anyways- had a bit of a shock today- went to sign up for my transcription class that starts in a few days, just kinda dawdled into the office, and I pay em, look at the schedule, yeah, starts today at 5:30!! I hafta be at work at 6!! So I called my boss, hes gonna cover for an hour and ahlf, but woah, that was quite a shock!!
So far today- I've eaten 4 (yes 4) pieces of pizza, roughly 800 cals. That was breakfast and lunch, lol... Will update later on supper and exercise, cuz I AM going to the gym tonight, with or without Katie :rolleyes:

2 wedges Laughing cow lite 70
4 strawberry tomatoes- I think theres like 7 cals apiece, but who cares, its veggies :)
4 slices canadian bacon 60

Went to the gym, did not as much as I shoulda- 20 mins of eliptical and basketball, and about 80 situps. woohoo.
Swimming tomorrow, yay :)
 
Hi there Jess! Thanks for lending some support in my journal.

Am I reading this correctly, you have 3 jobs?? And two of those you work at GNC and 24 Hr Fitness? Wow. I have to say that I love both of those businesses. Is it a weird dynamic working around people whom are working out all day? Does that make you just want to leave when you get off work, or does it help motivate you to want to work out? Interesting. I must say that you have the opportunities at your fingertips to succeed and be healthy. I bet you gained a world of knowledge working at GNC & 24Hr. Love those supplements and the personal training program is excellent. Just wanted to say good job tracking your calories and working exercise into your busy schedule. Keep up the great work!
 
MissJB- yeah, theres quite a bit of motivation- lots of skinny things come into GNC- how do I lose weight?? GRRRRR. But I have learned lots of stuff about good supps and such.

2 laughing cow light wedges 70
1 pack tuna 90
graham snacks 100
1/2 org choc bar 200
chicken noodle soup 180
2 oatmeal raisin cookies 330
3 cups veggies 120
67 oz water
about 1270 cals...don't know whats in a banana :)
Swam a bit, about half hour 12 laps, but then one of the hot guys I work with got inthe pool and I got all embarrassed cuz well, hes the size of my right thigh :D
Hope tomorrow will be good with no chocolate lol
 
Hey Jess, I hear you about all those skinny things coming in. Where I live in southern CA, there really aren't many overweight people, unless they are all hiding. It both motivates me and depresses me sometimes. But I'm determined to drop the weight this year. I have to, my health depends on it. I have one of those "chubby around the waist" type bodies which I hear leads to all kinds of nasty health issues, so I am going to do my best to go forward and try to do what I can.

Good for you for swimming, I really love to swim! Too bad my gym has no pool. Looks like you did great with your calories yesterday! Good job, keep it up and you'll be dropping that weight in no time!

Laughing cow lite cheese is just soft swiss cheese in little wedges. When your in the dairy area at the groc. store, theres those wheel looking things, and thats what these are- and they're yummy to :)
Todays food:(its 5 am, just going to bed, so this is from 10am on the 12th till now- on Fridays my schedule is screwy so I hafta stay up longer)

6inch veggie delite from subway
2 oatmeal cookies 330(holy hunnies, I needta find a good lowcal recipe for these cookies!!)

turkey and veggie microwave meal 130

So thats right around 1200 somewhere, not quite sure of what the cals are in the sub sandwich....
Exercise: Katie ditched out again tonight... sad... but I cleaned my house :) which is good cardio and lifting stuff... :)

Tru there at the cheese section at Woolworths and they are yum.
 
:D I weighed myself at GNC tonight, and I'm down 11 lbs from the original!! YAYYYYY!
I'm so excited.... anyways, gotta go take a nap so that I can work tonight at 24 Hour...
