Jaclyn's diary

Hey Totallyscrappy! Thanks for the cheers! Hopefully I'll see the cute guy again. We'll see about that.
The peanut butter sundae is really good, as are the oreo cookie bars. The oreo cookie bars are my favorite, because even though they're pricey they're really good and satisfy my cravings better than if I got something cheaper that wasn't as good. But on the other hand I don't blame you for being frugal, a family of five must have crazy grocery bills and dieting is so expensive! If you try the peanut butter sundae let me know!

Breakfast:
Slim Fast Meal Bar (220)
Orange Juice (50)

Hi fuunky I was just reading through your posts and seen that you had heart burn, I found that pizza was giving it to me, I still don’t understand why though I used to eat it all the time and had no problem. It’s funny how our bodies change ay. I hope you get to see the spunk again; hopefully he rings you when he gets settled.

Hehe, thanks Rosered, I hope he does too. Yeah, the heartburn thing was weird, but I think it was actually from one of those Listerine Liquid Ice Drops that I had after the pizza. I remember having them the other time I had heartburn too. Then I read that strong mints can give you heartburn. So there's my culprit!

So, I'm going full time at work. Oy, for the rest of the semester I won't have one day that's just my day. I'll be going to work Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, and I'll be going to school Tuesday and Thursday. Luckily the semester is over in four more weeks, then I'll have two days to myself for the summer. Hopefully I can work out a fall school schedule where I can still have one day to myself.

The great news is when my boss and I were done talking about my switch to full time I stood up to walk out and she was like "One more thing" so I turned around and she said "I just wanted to tell you that you look great, you can really tell that you're losing weight." It made me so happy. When people say stuff like that it really makes it worth it. So my boss, two people from work, my brother's girlfriend, my best friend, and my mom have all noticed. I'm super happy about that.

Lunch Today:
Lean Cuisine Angel Hair Pasta (260)
Apple (80)
5 Chocolate Mini Rice Cakes (50)

Now I'm off to the gym before I start reading Othello.

well if not that cute guy,..another cute guy. getting the itch for a new man, just shows how positive things are in your life,..feeling ready,..making all these positive changes...looking good,..its going to happen really soon!!!

Now how are the Chocolate rice cakes?...do they fool you that you are eating something yummy or it like sytrofoam with a hint of chocolate??

I actually like rice cakes,...I do the BBQ ones,..when I really really need to cheat.

Yes Jennifer, I am getting the itch for a new man. THat's for sure. You're totally right about the positive changes, I feel more confident now than I did before. Hopefully that will keep building up!

The chocolate rice cakes are sucky. They taste like styrafoam with Cocoa Krispies pasted onto them. Nasty. But the Sour Cream and Onion ones are good and only 70 calories for 10 of them. I think I might try the cheesy ones.

So, I drove all the way to the gym and sure enough, left my ID in my backpack, which I didn't have with me. So I went home and walked/jogged around my neighborhood. Then I was super hungry, so I made dinner:

Dinner:
Veggie burger, no bun, bit of ketchup (120)
Cup of Watermelon and a few Green Grapes (120)
10 Mini Sour Cream and Onion Rice Cakes (70)

Dessert:
WW Peanut Butter Sundae Pie (210)

Yum.

I can totally understand about not having any time to just relax and do your thing. School has gotten really stressful in the home stretch for me, and I am considering picking up more hours at work too - I need some extra money for all the bills that are piling up! Hang in there, and remember that if you need to give yourself an hour or two to relax and do nothing - DO it!

Ahh, thanks amomono. It's good to know other people know how I feel. You must really feel it, especially since you have kids. I don't know how you do it.

Man, it was a race to get in enough calories today. It's the low cal dinner that put me way under. But since I worked until 9 I didn't have much of a choice. It all worked out though. :)

Ok Ibought some firm tofu...thinking of a stir fry thing....with spice!!! love hot...so do I just treat it like meat? say chicken?

Ohh, I thought you had kids because of your user name-I thought it was "A MOM OH NO!" I'm such a moron.

And to answer your question Jenn, yep, treat it like chicken. Cut it up into little cubes and then toss it in with the stir fry. It will pick up the flavor of what you cook it with, so if you use spices like curry it will take on that flavor and when cooked it will have a nice firm texture to it, just like chicken. Let me know how it comes out!

Egg Beaters (60)
2 Slices Veggie Bacon (70)
Orange Juice (50)

I thought the same thing! There are days that this could be my name!
Never would have thought "monkeys." Have you seen the monkey at Build-a-Bear? Very cute!

Keep up the awesome work, Fuuky!
