wow that sounds JUST like me! I'm graduating this June, but I have to stay and take ONE class to finish my Exercise Science minor. I'm only taking that one class though so it's not that big of a deal. I'm pretty stressed out about what I'm going to do after college. Very stressed in fact.
 
ohh!! exercise science minor?? we have a exercise biology major here--but my major overlaps with exercise biology so much, it would be pointless of me to change majors, although the upper division electives for exercise bio is SO FREAKIN INTERESTING.

i went to a CLS info panel meeting today...i'm about 75% on it.

in the bay area, salaries for Clinical Laboratory Scientists are 60-70k. I can be 22 1/2 years old making 60-70k + great benefits.... that sounds brilliant. I'll either save up for med school (100-200g) or for a condo (20% down, rent out!).

If i still have the med school desire, i'll probably go in at around 25 years of age..did you know the average age of med students are 28?!?! damn. that's old.

It'll take one more year of school for training, at Davis, the program is TUITION FREE and they provide a STIPEND for those in the program. how great is that?

ahhh, the coffee makes me hyper...caffeine <3
 
i eat two meals for one meal.

peanut butter sandwich + lean pocket turkey whole grain + 20 medium shrimp tempura battered fried.
 
I went through my closet today and felt like I did not have "anything to wear"...because I got too fat!

10% fits now
50% would fit at 165-170
40% would fit at 155-165

things are going to get better in about 30 minutes, i'm about to go to the gym and do a really sweaty workout (get some of this salt out of my system..remember y'all, water follows salt)

i realized alot of weight loss has to do with diet intake, but if i get myself rolling on either balls, not both at once because that's quite stressful, i'll be able to succeed longer?

I was hoping for 60 minutes on the interval elliptical trainer but my knees started to bug. Plus, I biked to and from campus today, approximately 5 miles total.

I feel so good. I feel so so good. from working out. :party:
My stomach has bloated really bad. I usually overeat in quantity, but I have tested the waters by incorporating fried foods into my overconsumption, and man, it makes my body look HORRIBLE.


Time to looooooseee it! yay. I really want my physique to be like the pole vaulting chick!!! so i'm going to go back to oats and chicken breasts and vegetables. (high protein, low carb) sigh* gotta buy that cottage cheese

Yay way to go on getting back in the gym. I know when I'm actually going consistently, it's much easier for me to eat well too. Your jeans are going to fit in no time, and I guarantee you're going to look HOT in them!

alright. sooo i fell asleep at 3am yesterday, and it wasn't even good sleep. it was half-assed sleep, so i just got up now and am doing my daily internet surfing. gosh, i hope i get paiiiddd today *crosses fingers*

schedule is so changed. since i've missed this class 3-4 times, i hope there were no pop quizzes, so i guess.........i'll go to the gym again tonite.

2 nut and grain slices of bread
1.5 tbsp of horseradish and cheddar spread
1 small chicken "stripe" cheap crap.
8 ounces of green tea soymilk

I really really really need to work on my diet. I forecast myself defrosting my chicken breast and checking the expiration date on my frozen vegetables...and finding my tin of oats.

Today, I celebrated my very first paycheck with KFC.......it was buy 1 get 1 free? .......... my roommates called me out. shouldn't be their business, but i know they're tired of seeing me miserable. bahhhhh

tomorrow workout will be between 10am-2pm.
 
Good job on getting that workout in! I gotta drag my behind to the gym tonite after work too... Hope I make it :)

downside: didn't workout tonite.
lunch was a salad sampler for the beloved coffee house (student-run; fresh; sustainable foods- woohoo!)
downside.....after 2 hours, i ate 3 slices of pizza and half of a choco cupcake and 3 handfuls of chips, it was our last day for this one class, how elementary, nonetheless, hehehehe FUN

upside: didn't eat dinner, metabolism slow'd down like a mofo, but i'm keeping myself hydrated. I was thirsty since 4pm, and now i'm drinking some water....yeah, stupid me......
upside: was on campus 14 hours, although i was sitting alot, i biked around quite a bit, and walked. :D

i'm going to stay hydrated. i'll be back 2mrw!!!

Okay now... I want you to try something. I want you, JUST FOR ONE DAY, to PASS on all those foods that are making you not reach your goals. No excuses, just pass them up. Promise yourself, "Just for today, I'm not going to eat anything that isn't healthy. It's not forever, it's JUST FOR TODAY." See how good you feel at the end of the day.

I know the pizza is GOOD! And I LOVE cupcakes too! Chips... yum! But at the end of the night, I PROMISE YOU, feeling good about what you ate instead of feeling bad feels so much better than that food tasted! Do it just for one day... please. And then let me know how it felt. You will still get to eat those foods again... just not today. :)
