Mrs Woods: No worries about all the questions

The snow CAN be fun when you are playing in it when it isn't super cold with a horrible wind. Driving to work can suck, many people get stuck, it can be super icy as well. Good tires and careful driving will get you there safe, and attempting to avoid the side roads the first couple days until the plows get to them helps too when you can. I ALMOST got stuck a few times but always managed to get out of it

Cars generally have block heaters. That means when it gets cold you have a plug that you plug into an outlet on the outside of your house and it prevents the battery/engine or whatever from freezing so it starts. My car is from Ontario and actually does not have a block heater. While I could put one in it's been surprisingly good to me over the years! And I have had a garage over the last 4 years-ish which definitely helps

Frozen water pipes can be an issue. Our homes are not supposed to have water pipes on outside walls, and when they do they are WELL insulated - or should be. And we shut off the outside water (what you would use to water your lawns etc in summer) so that those don't freeze either.
For me I don't mind the snow/cold but one wish it got cold first, then snowed, and stayed cold. Otherwise the snow melts and freezes and becomes horrible ice. And even the cold isn't too bad, it's the wind that makes it 100x worse!
Holly: Day was OK I guess. FedEx guy was about 30mins late which meant I left late and got home late but it was OK. So far today has been unproductive LOL. Got about 2 hours to get a bunch of stuff done before I leave for training at the new job! must ensure I eat in just under 2 hours.
Was 138.5 again this morning

Not looking good at all for my goals. Perhaps this new job will help me lose more weight too since I believe I will be walking lots and possibly doing some lifting.
