I have edited my goals (post on pg.19-linked in my signature). I am 134 today. WHAT??? YES!!!
So I have not hit my 132 goal for today, but I have passed 136 which means I am in the healthy range, and I've hit my over 10lbs lost goal all in 1 shot. SWEET! And after eating badly yesterday including 2 chocolates instead of my 1 allocated and air popped popcorn with butter and salt. But that's OK because I'm at 134! :party:

So I still don't think I can lost 4.5 in just over a week, but time will tell right? Sadly looking at my chart the point for today is WAY off the trend line which makes me think it's a random fluctuation, possibly from weighing later than usual today. But whatever, for now I'M HAPPY!! :hurray::jump:
 
Yay.....you have really kicked it in to gear over the past couple weeks! I'm so happy for you! The holidays didn't hold you back!!!

Actually you are pretty right, last 3 weeks I've lost, and actually since Sept 7th when I was back to my 145 I have either lost at least a 1/2 lb or stayed even on my Saturday weigh ins, that's not too shabby. Hopefully I will keep losing like I did this week, a 3 lb lost since last Saturday hehe.

Holidays haven't held me back...yet...but also only had 1 Christmas dinner so far. Will be going out for one with A, just the 2 of us on my company's money as nobody is coming here for it. Then will do our own thing at home as well probably on the 24th unless we decide to find a place open 24th or 25th for dinner. Then since A got a turkey for Xmas from work and it's almost 8 Kg we will cook that New Years Eve for our party and have an awesome feast with whomever is able to make it...so the next 2 weeks are going to be REALLY hard, and I keep craving chocolates so I need to be careful not to eat too many in a day. But so far so good!

Although today I did eat a quarter pounder with cheese from McDs. We were out and hadn't had breakfast and I'm glad we did cuz it was another 3-4 hours before we got home after 5pm LOL. BUT went to the Highland Shoppe and they had a 1day 20% of sale so YAY got the kilts and sash and some other things at a better discount than we were going to I believe.
 
135. But still 10lbs lost! Hopefully I don't go above this now and keep going down :)

I'm trying really hard not to buy chips or sweets. I have Ferrero Rocher at home and a box of Purdy's chocolates at work. Will have both available for the taking on New Years Eve. But until then I do not want to have any more junk that will tempt me in the house.

We are now planning a turkey dinner on New Years Eve. I've never cooked one so a friend is going to help me. Need to make sure it fits in our roaster pot thing since we've never used it and it's almost an 8Kg turkey. Hoping it turns out with my friends help since she has done it before :) Also hoping my pay comes early on the 31st so I can get home and get cooking!

135.5 today. *sigh* but that's what I get for the McD's on Saturday and then the movie theatre pizza, fries, and sour patch kids last night. I'm sure some is due to the salt/grease but still really sucks. Hope I'm back to 135 tomorrow and do not hit it again after that, EVER (until/unless I get pregnant but that's different LOL). Still have a lack of motivation today to do any work in the office. But it's 11:15 so I'm going to enter the 1 order I have to, then start prepping for inventory (printing sheets etc). By then it should be lunch and I have to pick up food from mom's work and drop off some milk and then I will come back, eat, and get going. I really want to do it all today, but if I ate least get most of it done that would be great. Will be listing what stuff I want to get rid of too so that Head Office can tell me what to do with it.

At least I "work" from home tomorrow! Not sure if I will be going to Staples today, depends when I finish and if they will still need me. Same with Friday and next week.

134.5 this morning. I'm okay with that. No idea what to do for pur little 2 person dinner tonight but need to figure it out and shop for what I need. Probably my lemon mushroom chicken with mashed potatoes. Hope to get laundry and some cleaning done since I'm working from home today.
 
Ate way too much chocolate yesterday but it was sooooo yummy. Plan to see Frozen tonight so likely candy and pop for sure, unsure if poutine, pizza or anything else will be eaten, going to eat leftovers before we go so I'm not as tempted. Been a decent day got dishes done and will do laundry shortly. Hopefully will go through some of the boxes in the basement so it's not all left for the weekend will everything else planned.
 
So I have been slacking...on everything. Have not been eating healthy AT ALL (oh just realized I haven't changed my signature in a while hehe still says 136.5...silly me, will change that shortly). Anyways, been eating badly, too much chocolates, went to 2 movies this week and ate the full bag of sour patch kids from the first (partly at the movies, partly over the next 1-2 days) and the skittles from the last movie I ate a lot of. *sigh* Then yesterday we ordered pizza and wings and fries, so that's my lunch today and dinner tonight and possibly the same tomorrow. Ugh! Can't remember my weight the last 2 days but it's up to 135.5, and I believe the last 2 days have been about the same. NOT COOL!

At work today and got the rest of inventory to count, if I don't get it all put on the report that's OK as long as it's all counted and pictures taken of what I need to send. The rest can be done on Monday and then Tuesday I can either watch Dr. Who on Netflix or set up client displays to get ready for next year or whatever until my pay chq comes, then I RUN AWAY and cook a turkey :). Left my water bottle at home and I hate tap water so not sure what to do about liquids today. Got sprite and coke in the car for new years but I think I should bring them inside since it's supposed to get super cold tonight and I'm not sure if I'm working my other job tonight. I can always leave it here over the weekend and bring it home Mon/Tues next week once the house is cleaner.

Oh yeah, did not do nearly as much as we could or should have on my days off. Hoping I do work tonight for the money, but also not because then I can clean and do laundry instead. Time will tell! As long as I don't have to work 31st evening I'm just fine working tonight and Monday.
 
Icy, you have been on a great tear lately, losing weight (awesome!), so don't beat yourself too much about the last few fun days. You'll be back on track shortly.
 
Ugh. Still not being good to myself. Eaten left over pizza and chocolates but drinking more water which I guess is good. 135.5 today, which is 1.5 UP from last week-not cool! Does not look like I will make my goal of the 120s by Dec 31st unless my scale has been playing tricks on me, which I doubt. *sigh* I will weigh in on the 31st if I remember and mark it down on here - I've been bad about keeping track the last few days. Hopefully I will be able to buckle down in the New Year and get some good and faster results than the past few months. I only have 2-3 months MAX to hit my target so it will be crunch time. Just gotta get through the next few days which I know will be full of more bad food choices.
 
Just do your best and restart next year (one can say that because it's just a couple of days). You are allowed to celebrate 2013 is going and 2014 is coming. One can always celebrate with fruit too :)
 
Celebrate with fruit, I like the idea but sadly I doubt the reality would work for me. At least not for tomorrow night.

137 this morning, not impressed. I think it was the same yesterday but I didn't believe my scale. It sucks because after 134 low I'm 3 lbs heavier and unhappy about it. It's weird though because my belt has tightened a notch from 2 to 3 which is nice but not sure how much to trust that since when I measured my stomach maybe 1-2 weeks ago when I first tightened it, there was not change in my measurement. Decided not to measure anything else at that time since I didn't want to see no results anywhere else either.

I really do need to get on the ball in the new year. I'm hoping the 2nd job helps me burn more cals, but wasn't there last week and not sure I will be this week because they have been finishing too early for me to bother going. I need to get other workouts in though too on top of the job, cardio type to help burn more cals and get my heart rate up which the job doesn't do. I will weigh again tomorrow and try to eat well today in hopes that perhaps it's just water retention or something like that. I know tomorrow will be full of over eating and alcohol so if I can do well today and tomorrow morning that will help ease it. I will try not to focus too much on the scale tomorrow or even up until Saturday and start paying more attention to that next week. Will still weigh and track but just gotta let it go and work harder come the new year. Time is running out so I can't keep procrastinating and making excuses, I just have to do it, like it or not, if I ever want to lose the weight and feel good about my body.
 
You've still done really well icychic, the holidays are just a very tough time. You are not very heavy, so I am sure that losing 7-10 pounds does make a noticeable difference in the way your clothes fit and other things.

I think it would be great if you found some kind of a workout that you actually enjoyed, I think when you enjoy it, then it is not as hard to get motivated to do it. Is there something you and your fiance could do together? What about Wii fit? I have heard that can be fun. Or maybe ice skating?

Maybe making it into a kind of date or way to spend time together would help? :)

You are making some progress though!
 
I second that advice!

For me, it was yoga, but there are several things you can try! Being able to enjoy the activity just makes is so much better and a lot easier to be consistent about it.

I think you are right. I need to find something I enjoy because then I can perhaps look forward to it rather than dread it and find reasons and excuses not to do it. Losing the weight for the wedding is a good motivation, but obviously it isn't enough to keep me going.

Sadly my fiance has a more labour intensive job and he generally does not want to do much afterwards, or on weekends. Plus weekends end up being busy. For my schedule it will need to be something I can do while I'm at work, so no equipment other than a mat and possibly dumbbells if I bring them here.

I hope you both have a Happy New Year as well, and everyone else here too!

Weighed in at 136 this morning, which is down from yesterday thankfully but still 2 up from my lowest of 134. So I end the year having lost 9 lbs :( Sad but it is better than nothing! And leaves me with about 16-21 left to lose in 2-3 months. I CAN DO IT! But for tonight I shall not think about it. Finishing inventory at work and waiting for my pay cheque, then leaving to get my friend and go home to start cooking a turkey! No Staples yesterday or today so that's great (or tomorrow of course). I'm super excited for tonight :D Hoping the turkey and everything else turns out well! EEEEE!!!!!!! Sadly it seems my chq isn't even on a truck with FedEx yet...so I may be waiting right up until noon for it :( Guess I should get going on inventory!
