September 1st. And Christmas only seems a few weeks ago. I wouldn't tell anyone else this next bit, but just between we few friends
, when I moved the dog's sofa on Friday I found a bit of shriveled up holly
Sept 1st, is always the first day of autumn for me, although, these days it doesn't seem to fall until October. My thoughts turn to Halloween, Bonfire night(Nov 5th) and, of course, the dreaded C word... Christmas. I made my cake and puddings in August because dried fruit is always cheaper over here in the summer. I made low fat ones.
