hope I can do it this time

Hello, its been a couple of days since I have been on. Monday I didn't do a workout made it a movie day. Tuesday I did my hour walk with the kids and a half hour of cardio felt really good no stiffness(thank god). And today I did our walk to school so an hour walk(there and back) and have not done anything eles as of yet although I did have a good play session with my four year old and one year old. They wore me out lol but we all had fun. I have been at this a month and can already see a difference when playing with the kids I do not get tired as fast. Still can't play with them as crazy as my hubby does( more so cause it hurts!They like to jumo knees first on your back) but we can still have fun running around like a pack of loonies lol. Will try and get something eles in tonight if I don't fall asleep first. lol And as a side note I will be weighing myself on saturday as I will have a new scale at home and we will see how well I have done so far..........:D
 
hello havent been on in a while because i could not log on for some reason but not much has changed im walking an hour a day sometimes two hours if i need to pick up my son from school. i gained back the 5 pounds i lost. I have not been working out as much just too tired so i need to kick my butt and get back into it again or eles i am going to be realy mad and dissapointed with myself more then what i am already.
 
I'm thinking its going to have to be about 5am. I got to beat my kids out of bed lol they are early risers.


did my full body workout my arms are now rubber lol but that is good just hope I can lift the baby tomorrow.

Lol, when I read this I read it as, "Tomorrow I will just lift the baby," like a free weight haha. Sorry, my mind makes some crazy stuff up sometimes! And for a second I was like, hmm, I wonder if that works well... hahaha

Anyway, good luck on your journey :) I know it can be tough and I cannot even imagine how hard it would be to do it with a family to worry about. I only have me for now so it has been easier, but hopefully your family is a good support system :)

How have you been feeling since you started? Any extra energy or anything?

Hi there; just read your diary and want to encouarge you. I'm from Regina, SK but live in Ottawa now, so you're in my home town :)

Don't get discouraged about the five pounds. Or about not being able to work out as much as you'd like. It's hard with small kids. Maybe you can start with small goals, like not eating after 6:30 pm. Gee, that's not a small goal. If you can start with that, you'll see results. I'm finding the bigger part of weight loss is about how we eat. Hang in there and remember, we ALL have to keep keep trying after our "slips". lol Common occurence and you're in good company. Good luck ;)

I find it does as the baby like to be picked up lots during the day and he is about 25 lbs. Most of my day is pick up put down lol even with my 4 year old its crazy. I have found that I do have more energy although not in the last week or so but then I have not been sleeping very well thankx to my littlest man..lol With little one running around it is hard to get workouts in thankfully though I walk my oldest to school and that takes about an hour there and back, once spring hits I will also be picking him up again so it will trun into a two hour walk during the school week. The only other saving grace at this point is my youngest two still nap most days so I can usualy get something in while they are asleep. Summer Vacation will be fun there is lots to do here so as long as its not too hot out we will be able to enjoy playing at the park more.

Cool I hate it here, I am so a small town person lol but we are getting used to the city slowly. I have been down this road before normally when I start to gain its becasue I am prego but that is not it this time(thank god I don't want anymore kids right now). I jut have to get back at things full force again. I try not to eat anything after 7pm but sometimes find that I am hungry as my night goes on so I tend to snack on fruit or veggies.
 
Hi! I had to stop and say hi cause we have almost the same ticker :) My biggest problem is eating late too... All the voices in the fridge get louder and louDER and LOUDER the later it gets... Anyways... good luck! I am rooting for ya!
 
yeah they are very close cool.. its not the fridge so much at my belly saying feed me lol I need to ignore it and drink more water or something..or maybe just rip out its voice lol..
 
So far today all I have done is run after the kids. I don't really count it as any type of workout but at least it is movement and I didn't spend the entier day sitting on my butt. I am going to get a workout in tonight even if it is just running up and down my stairs for 20 min, I would like to do more but will see how the rest of the day goes.

I have trouble snacking in the evening too I didn't before, but my daughter is having a case of terrible 3's lol and when ever she start screaming for an hour the stress get to me and I eat. Hopefully this week will be better for me. I am amazed you even have time to workout, Keep it up!!!!
 
It is defenetly hard to find/make the time to do it but I try. Thankfuly school is in and as I don't drive we have to walk there every morning so at least I get that muh in mon thru fri.
My four year old is still in the terrible 3's lol I figure by the time he gets out of them he will be moving out lol.
 
Well bggest loser kind of pissed me of tonight likd what's up with that..
anyways while I was watching the biggest loser I did a 30 min workout of just random things did ten min of jogging ten min if crunches and 10 min of squats. Will do more tomorrow as I have now agravated my cough(dang). I have an hour walk tomorrow morning going to see how long(far) I can run home( may be hard due to the snow and ice on the sidewalks/roads) and hope I don't slip and fall. :(
 
Morning, man am I sore this morning lol :D Going to be heading to school in a bit so that should take care of my sore legs loosen them up some. Had pizza for supper last night and piged out which was bad but oh so yummy. Haven't had pizza in months so I enjoyed myself lol but paying for it today my insides are not happy with all the grease. Going to eat much better today! Anyway got to get moving need to get the kids ready for school (yippy!) lol.
 
well I manage to jog about three blocks! (woohoo) I suck at running but that is further then I could do in the last few months. Had to stop though because I was having a really hard time catching my breath. I walked faster coming home( I made it from the school to the house in under 15 min) which is good since it is about a half h our walk so I guess i was hauling ass lol even surprized my hubby! sweet! :) well got to get about the day some more will have lots more walking as I need to run a few arrrends this afternoon and I hope to get a good workout in tonight.
 
Tonight I got in a good workout I did 30 min of cardio and 20 min of weights wow am I tired now lol but I feel good. Got in almost an hour I will be there soon if I don't get lazy again.

I would love to reach the point of my journey to do the cardio and weights that you do. I want you to keep it up and keep being a postivie light here.

Umm sure just remeber I am a cheap drunk three drinks and I am done lol plus its been like three years since any drinks lol. Living farther from school is a big plus would be nice if we didn't have such cold winters lol. I hope my shirt will fit right now I look prego in it lol, but I did buy a new outfit that does fit well the pants did now they are a bit to big thank god they came with a belt lol.

Hey its ok. Thank you! :grouphug: One day you will! I have always been a walker very rare to even take the bus although sometimes I have to being in the city which is why I miss small town life but what can you do..lol. I find the cardio and the weights very hard so I have to push my self hard to get through them. I have very little endurance/stamina and find I am very tired after a good workout but one day I will get to the point where I can stay awake lol.

I know you will get there too!! Just got to keep at it. :)
