hope I can do it this time

Well did my walk this morning took a bit longer as I had to pick up a few things on the way home, but it was good made me sweat more lol got to lve milk jugs. I am starting to feel better thank god but now my kids are getting this cold ggrr going to make for a long weekend. I have to pick up my oldest after school today so i will have had a 2 1/2 hr walk in total today. Which will make up for tomorrow as there is no school again. He hasn't had a full week of school since January :nopity:. Just hope the ids wll play nice for three days lol yeah right I know..lol rarely happpens...boys lol

No other extra walks I do take a short cut home got to love train tracks! If only they didn't dump me out in really bad areas lol stupid gangbangers/crack heads....lol

That sucks about getting dumped into bad area's - you need to carry some bear mase - you know ...incase a bear gets into the city...hehehehe - I know they sell it in regina beause the 1st can I bought was from there, it was from one of those weird Army/Camping Surplus Stores- it's about the size of a can hair spray though. When I walk to work I carry wither the bear mase in my bag or dog mase (dog mase is a small container that actually fits in your pocket).....you know incase of a bear/dog attack,..lol.

The bear mase in Regina is about $30 more than in Banff....which I though was weird because Banff is EXPENSIVE....and when hikin in the mountains you might actually see a bear - you think they'd take advantage of that and mark it up!
 
Hhhm that is a thought but my luck this kids would get a hold of it. Yeah that is strange but maybe they want ppl to actually buy the stuff lol who knows....mornings are normally quiet around here so not tooo worried but still never know these days.
 
I know what you mean about the kids getting nightmare my 3 year old is in one of those phases, so last weekend we made a sign to put on her bedroom door, "a monster repeller with magic stones" and it had been working great, she even made one for her little brother lol, don't know if that kind of stuff works with little boys! It has been nice not having piercing cream wake me up at 12 am.

I have tried pretty much everything I can think of lol thankfully its not an every night thing they seem to take turns lol. At least if the youngest wakes up usually there is a good reason(crapy diper).
 
Feeling even better today my energy seems to be returning(just in time for the kids to be sick :banghead:). Going to try and workout later today might even be able to get the hubby doing something although he did hurt himself at work yesterday so we will see. I know I am still not up to full speed yet but going to try and do some cardio and see what happens hopefuly I won't spend the night coughing my lungs out.:ack2:
 
Well so far today has been a good day. Feeling way better and my cough is much better although it is still there. So I am going to work out today, going to try and do 2 min of step ups (last time I did that I got lie 54 or something) and 20 min walking up and down my stairs and some Bob's bootcamp from my biggerest loser 2 workout dvd. I'm going to be sore and tired when I am done but I am sick of not ding much this cold can kiss my butt... :D
 
Great Job sticking it to your cold!! It's really going to help you get well fast!!! It's sounds like you have a good variety of workout DVD's - it great to have variety - I only have turbo jam - and it was great for about a month - after that I couldn't stand it - now I'd rather just go to the gym, which suck on days you don't feel like going out.
 
Yeah I have the bigglet loser 2 and star trainers cardio and carmen elctra strip tease plus a few more coming by mail sometime in the next two weeks.. helps keep it from becoming boring. I want to find tubo jam here I seen walmart has the px90 stuff but is still like 150 so I am like no..lol that is too much. Found most of my dvds in the cheap bins lol so don't feel so bad putting out money for myself..lol dang kids always need something..lol alwell..


yesterday I did 5 step ups not a realy great increase but still better then less or nothing lol tried to do 20 min ging up and down the stairs yeah that was a laugh lasted about 4 min before I was dying lol will have to work on that. I need a house with more stairs lol mine are a goat path but my legs sure get a workout. Going to do my dvd workout today didn't have time last night because the kids were having a hard time sleeping. Lots of ppl out and about with all the nice weather making more noise then the kids are used to only benifet with winter people stay inside..lol
 
Hey congrat on getting your workouts done!! My daughter doesn't sleep till 9 pm I put her to bed at 7:30 and she keeps me going till like 8:45. hopefully this is just a short phases!!
 
My boys do that some night I have to stop putting my 4 year old down for naps, although somedays he still needs them. Will be nice when school starts this fall I should have no problems with bedtimes.

Today walked my oldest to school on the way home I decided to try and jog( hahaha I hate running.) jogged about four blocks in total not alot but not bad. Going to try and keep it up would be nice to get a half hour in and I can take the baby with me as I have a jogging stroller..lol I am going to run somemore on my way ack to school this afternoon it didn't kill me this morning so shouldn't this afternoon lol(I hope). Going to pull out my exercise ball tonight and work with the weights, going to try and use the 5 lbs ones I have been using the 2.5lbs they are almost to light and the 5 lbs are almost to heavy can't win but going to try anyway nothing saying I can't switch them out as I go.
 
yesterday did an hour and forty min walk was good. Also did a workout with my hubby, I never want to do that again he is very annoying. Always adding some little BS comment I was ready to kick him out of the house for half an hour so I could work out in peace. Have found through last night that if I am annoyed or getting pissed off I don't wanna workout which is so not good. Ok anyways other then that yesterday was good this morning was a bit sore but have walked that out! :) Hubby wants to work out with me again tonight but I may just send him out for coffee don't know if I wanna listen to his bs about what we are doing...gggrr men :cuss: sorry aparently I am still a litted pisssed with him.

AWESOME job! Keep it up and in no time the 5lbs will be too light and you'll have no problem running 30min!

I normaly try and kick him out of the house for a bit lol then its just me and the tv and I can make the stupid comments lol. And it is nice that he will workout with me I just may need to find some ducktape so he can't talk lol.
 
I am having a hard enough time running 2 blocks with out dieing lol but I will get there. Although I don't think s today as we now have snow on top of all the ice.ggrrrrr stupid weather. I can't wait to use bigger wieghts I need to buy sme hand weights all I have are ones for a barbell? r whatever it is came with my house though hehehe love free crap..lol

My walk this morning sucked its windy and snowing but temp wise it is warm go figure. I have some how managed to screw up my knee (might be the weather change though not sure) but it is being a pain and I was having a hard time walking at a good speed was fine when I was walking with Damien (my oldest) but after I dropped him off at school and picked up some speed it begain to ache..dang but I just pushed through that and took some tylenol when I got home so now pain free for now lol.
 
You should probably take it easy on the knee and focus on arm and core muscles for a couple days. At least until it stops hurting. You don't want to mess up your knees, once they are gone, that's it.

Lol, you should be proud that you can run at all! I don't know if I breath wrong or what, but I can't run more then 10 feet without wanting to die. Good job!

That sucks - knee pain is the worst, occasionally my knees hurt...now that I've been doing exercises they are stronger and hurt less often - but aggravating them is bad if they are hurting - take it easy keep it low impact.

If you get knee pain often - jogging might now be a good choice. Running outside on the cement is VERY hard on your knees. Power walking can get your heart rate up just as high and it's low impact.

That sucks that the weather is shitty. It's crappy here too. I went outside to get some air and it SNOWED last night! Not alot but it's there and it's windy cold and wet. It's one of those days where curling up with a blanket and a hot cup of coffee and not having to go ANYWHERE would be ideal!
 
My knee has been messed up for years so its nothing new, I don't have to worry about to much cement here most of the sidewalks are ashvolt cheap city lol but the ice sure does suck. I think once the "wonderfull" weather figures out what the hell it is doing my knee will be good to go again for now though I will be taking it easy also going to buy new shoes tomorrow that may help as mine are pretty much dead. lol

Mizzie I have a hard time remebering to breathe don't know why can do it any other time with out thinking when I run or exercise I have to think about it otherwise I will stop..its stupid I know..lol
 
haven't been on in the last few days it has been chaos around here with getting ready for spring ( I hate shopping with kids lol) and birthday parties. I havn't gotten in any workout although I did do a ton of walking this weekend spent most of yesterday trying to recoupe some energy from friday and saturday. What crazyness lol but this week should improve only thing coming up is parent teacher interviews on friday (yippy..NOT!) So I should be able to get back into my routine. Will be nice when my new dvds get here they look like fun should be here this week or early next week..I hope lol I really wanna try em out can't remeber what they were called though... anyways this kinda went in several directions at once typical me lol. Plus I gotta go kids are demanding something. lol
