How is everyone else doing? Im excited for the challenge I am doing for the next 6 weeks…… I wanna drop these last few stubborn pounds :willy_nilly::hurray:

I signed up for the challenge too! Halloween is a tough time of the year to not cheat too much so I think working my butt off before then is what is needed! I do think bloating will effect upper and lower torso so don't stress too much and see what happens next week. Keep it up!

if i wasnt critical of myself... i never would have lost ANY WEIGHT!!!! i like to catch slip ups though before they are HUGE EFF UPS!!!

went for a 5K run at lunch today around our buisness park here at work.... made me feel a little better. Had a few pretzels and 10 M&M's for snack... i feel better now LOL

i dont think its that i took my eyes off of it... as i think i have been doing alot of ab work lately... and not realizing that that WILL affect measurements... oh welllll
 
Thank God its FRIDAY!!!

Hey guys! Wanted to come on and update today since its been a few days!

Today is a great day… BECAUSE ITS EFFING FRIDAY!!!! WHOOOOO WHOOO!!! ? and there is a small chance we might have a half day if we get some sales in hehee. Also its exciting because I joined the 6k Halloween challenge and I am really excited!! I had my last little hoorah for the next few weeks last night. My hunnie and I ordered in pizza and had beer. I still did well though…. Had about ½ a miller lite and 2.5 slices of mushroom pizza… yummy . I realized I do not really like beer too much anymore… ick. Didn’t even want it last night… strange esp since that use to be a staple in my diet!! Lol
Last night I also took as my off night from the gym for this week…. Sunday I ran at the park by my house and did 3 ¾ miles, Monday I went to the gym on my own and worked my bis and arms…. Didn’t do cardio. Tueday I met my friends at the gym and I did the circuit, crazy ab work out, and 2 miles on the treadmill. Wesdnesday I ran the business park at my work! I did a 5K around the complex. So I was due for a day off and what better day than pizza and beer night hehe.

Today I am on my first day of the 6 week challenge! I am going to weigh myself tonight for my weigh in and start off my 6 week challenge with the spooktaculars!!!! YAY!

I am not sure what is going on this weekend… im sure a lot of running and eating healthy though! I love competition… im like TOTALLY revved up now !!! im excited because next week I go away on my vacation that I take every sept with my boyfriend. We go to the beach and attend a Volkswagen car show event… biggest one on the east coast! Should be a good time!

Awww...that sounds fun!!! A car show event..and a VACATION!!! :party:!!!...Me and my boyfriend go to this car show a couple blocks from the house...it's Classic cars though, but since it's at one of our favorite places...BOB'S BIG BOY DINER...(not sure if you have those out there)...but GOOD BREAKFAST!,.....:drool5: Hmmm..HAM STEAK!!! hahah! ;)

BUT... i am running a 5K on Oct 10th... so i am pumped for that!!! :) :hurray:
 
Maybe I need to join this Halloween challenge. My b-day is the day before so it would kind of be like a birthday challenge too.

Glad to hear you are still doing great, Melissa. Maybe your measurements were off due to a meal or some water retention or something? Just in case, work your butt off next week. :D
 
alrighty so a run down of my day before i hit the hay... hehe ya ya i know... im retarded.


anyways food intake:

Breakfast:
1 egg w/ shredded cheese
english muffin dry
1.5 whole wheat pancakes.... 1 tsp butter
2 cups of coffee

Lunch:
1/2 italian sub
diet coke

snack 4 gummy worms ( sour)

Dinner:
1/2 cup of chili ( i tried to pick all the beans out and eat them)
Salad ( grilled portabella, walnuts, crasins, 1/2 machintosh apple, bleu cheese) NO DRESSING
1/3 light beer..... wasnt into it. Im done ordering beer i would say.


Exercise: 2 mile run. BROKE MY RECORD AGAIN!!!! :party:
my previous best time was 16:33 for 2 miles.... well today i beat that and my new 2 mile time is 16:21!!!!

that is very exciting for me!!! :)

Today was arm day so i worked those and also did 2 sets of 6 inches... held each time for a minute staright, and i did some crazy eights crunches.


Yesterday was my cybex day and leg day.... my legs and butt are mega sore today so that was a great work out as well!!! :)


Tomorrow i am looking forward to getting a real tough work out in to finish up the weekend!!! :)

You are my greatest inspiration!!! I've read through your diary and looked at the pics of your progress... AMAZING!! Being 5'4" and 152 pounds I'm pretty much exactly where you were in the beginning of your journey. I just started a week ago counting calories, drinking lots of water, and exercising regularly. I already lost 3.5 pounds in a week. My goal is to get to 135 but seeing your success makes me believe I can push myself farther and get to 130 or less if I really stick to it. You ROCK!!!!!!!! THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR STORY!!:hurray:

hey!!! That is so totally awesome that this journal has helped you. If you ever want advice or need a kick in the pants.... seriously just get in touch through PM or whatever! Its alot of hard work... but i had a blast while doing it as i think you can see from my posts. I started this all in the beginning of february and i hit 125 in July.... totally doable!!!! you will be down where you want in no time... right in time for a new summer wardrobe :) i hope you started a journal on here. Many days the only reason i even ate well or went to the gym... was because of all the friends i made on this website... cheering me on!

Thanks so much!!! You of all people on here give me the most hope. I KNOW that if I try hard enough I can look like you! I am a size 8... reading about how you went from and 8 to a 2 makes me so pumped that it is possible to go down in size and not just stay in one size or have to move up. You are awesome!!!! I really look up to you (even though I don't know you, it's kinda weird but I do!!) I just started a diary... keep in touch :) :)

Well i am getting ready to go to the beach. Tomorrow morning i leave at 8:30am! yay!!!:hurray:

This week so far has been great for me. I have eaten pretty well and have been to the gym to keep myself accountable.

I dont really have anything too crazy to report though..... i am at 124 today.... and i worked arms this morning.... so i have jello arms today!
