Bad cramps… feel like im dying… it sucks being a woman one week out of the month haha. ( sorry boys)

Umm, uuuuuh, I mean...you're doing really good with your progress. To be honest, I haven't read every single page in your journal (because there's 35 of them at the moment) but it seems that you're doing pretty good and keeping really upbeat about everything. It's nice to see that. Keep up the good work and good luck with the family stuff.

Thanks for the well wishes for Grammy. She is resting comfortably at the hospital... well as comfortable as you can be. But she wasnt swallowing her meds right apparently and it was causing bleeding ulcers in her esophogus? i dunno makes no sense to me though.

Hawwwwwwt. Thats what i am hoping to accomplish... thats for the compliment though... cant wait to make my goal! :)

Ya know i think it is normal to question life, I question my regularly...lol...SOmetimes i think im slumped in wiht accepting what i have and not wanting anything more but maybe a siggy other ya know...why dont i really want more, lol, well I do, My prob is I have so much i wanna do that I dont know where to start...and being a single mom and lack of money has always ruled my life...Plus I spent half my l.ife with a kid in tow doing everythign I had to do and to better myself for my daughter (and also always putting myself last for everything, I dont even know how to break that cycle I cannot put myself first or take care of myself)and create a good life for us for years only to have that safe haven torn down and to need to rebuild and etc, lol...

Im content in the fact tha ti love my job even thou my shift sucks but i do love my job and my shift for the most part...I have two beautiful awesome kids that give me alot of joy...Im managing, i make enough to live of off more would be nice but im content...

I hear ya thou Im always beating myself up emotionally physically, verbally...I always look at my downfalls and failures...but ya know what doing that wont get me anywhere else in life

If things are bugging ya make a list as you do and in order put down things ya wanna accomplish/improve...you started with you and your lifestyle and if you can do that you can do anything

Im gonna tell you something I hear ALOT...

Can i just say i am SOOOO glad its friday :):waving:


Yesterday I went to the gym with a friend and we worked pretty hard. We did 45 minutes on the cybex machine on level 7… and it was hill interval setting so the incline went up and down. Then we went over to the mats and did crunches, butterfly kicks, 6 inches, planks, side planks, leg lifts w/ and w/out the ball, and throw downs. Felt great! Then he left to get back to work and I did arms. I did chest press, lat pull downs, row machine.
All and All a decent work out. I am really hoping switching things up like this will help get the weightloss moving again! I have been stuck at 127-128 for about 2 weeks now… so im really ready to get this party started again!

I am really excited because I found out my work is taking me to Las Vegas for our conference in August ( 13-16th)… I d LOVE to be at 120 by then…. just because I have to wear a gown…. And there’s a huge amazing pool at the Venetian and I am hoping to wear my swimsuit and look decent in it haha.

We will see though… I know the next few weeks are going to be tough so I am just going to push really hard the next few weeks and hopefully I make things happen :hurray:

Food intake for 7/16
Breakfast: plain cheerios w/ fresh sliced strawberries and skim milk, coffee

Lunch: Chicken Mushroom Spinach Lean Pocket, 1 cucumber w/ ff Ranch, Sobe Life water

Snack 3:00 : 1 peach, 2 lowfat graham crackers, salt free almonds

Dinner: Ham on wheat with spicy mustard and tiny bit of mayo… ( ½ tsp), lettuce , light n fit straw. Yogurt, steamed broccoli w/ garlic powder and little bit of parm shaker cheese

Dessert- low fat granola bar
 
i'm sure you'll look quite delicious in a swimsuit and gown right now, so no worries if you don't hit 120 exactly. but keep it up! workout looks good!

Alright so i am heading to go grab some breakfast right now and then i will be hitting the gym shortly after that for a workout with my sister!!! :) im excited to show her the new ab workouts i learned from my friend matt the other day!! :) my abs are really sore for the first time in about 2 months so thats GOOD NEWS.... im stretching myself! :)

anyways, i actually did have my bf take pics for me to see the progress since that haunting bathing suit pic in feb. i posted it in the before, after, in between thread so ill add the link here. as i said in that post... a good bit bummed out about my upper leg area :( really bummed its not transforming like my abs and stuff.....


grrrrr i lose all the boobs i have.... but my legs dont wanna budge. now obviosuly they have a bit because i have lost inches... but they are still so freakin thick! drives me insane grrrrr :cuss:

Getting very lean legs is possible but you really do have to give yourself a lot of time. It took my wife one full year to go from about 131 to 121 and at that time she finally got very lean legs. I personally like your legs. Don't worry about the boobs either. Well, I mean, I understand but hey, it happens to women when they lose weight unfortunately. My wife went from one size larger than D (can't remember what it is called) when she was nearly 150 lbs to size B at her current weight of 122. But I still like them because they fit her body well. Yours fit your new body well also. Enjoy it, you've earned it.
 
WEll i have a few minutes before i shower to go to my parents for the evening so i will just log in my day so far. I went to the gym early today with my sissy and we did the following workout
30 minutes cybex machine. incline- 7, resistence 40
weight circut. 2 reps of 15 each.
Ab routine- 50 crunches feet on floor, 30 crunches left side, 30 right side, 50 crunches legs crossed in air. 10 Leg raises with large yoga ball between them ( those suckers are HARD!!), 25 throw downs, 30 secs butterflyt kicks, 30 seconds 6 inch leg lift, planks, and side planks

incline leg press, weight assisted pullups, spreadeagle machines ( hehe love that i renamed it) actually abductor and adductor muscles we were working.


Then we went to breakfast and i had the following:
1.5 whole wheat waffle ( dry, no butter no syrup)
1/4 cup oatmeal w/ little brown sugar and tiny bit of milk
2 strips turkey bacon
1.5 cups of coffee


lots of shopping and running around then. came home and had left over wheat pasta with sauce and turkey burger.


Tonight is a little game night and cook out with my dad, step mom, little brother, sister and her bf , me and my bf..... should be.... awkward. No details needed... just odd times... im sure some of you can relate hehe.

sooo im off to get a shower and put on my cute cute CUTE little blue sundress i bought today!!! and i felt GREAT IN IT when i tried it on! im excited.

so for now... its goodbye... but ill be back :)

ps- lots of gooood tasting food but baaaaadddd for you food there tonight... ill TRY to be good... but dont be surprised when i mention lots of icky foods i consumed. hey no matter... cheat day :) in moderation of course though.

snack: oat and honey granola bar, fresh peach, 5 pretzals

Dinner:
chips n salsa
1 hard taco w/ lettuce, beef, cheese, and salsa
Spanish rice, re fried beans

dessert: coffee from dunkin donuts and a slice of strawberry cake w. cool whip and fresh strawberries on top :)

OK day for food... but def not my best!!! hehe.

Gym today:
45 minutes on cybex incline 7 resistence 40. Burned 610 calories. I lifted and worked arms and then called it a day. yesterday was a tough work out so i didnt want to over do it!


tomorrow i am going to be attempting to wake up in the morning and do an AM gym session. :)

night night kids... off to bed!
 
Hey girl! Hope your cookout thing with the parents went well! It looks like your food was tasty! I'm extremely proud of how far you have come and your Before and After pics look oustanding! Maybe just reshaping your body with weight lifting might help you transition into a new stage of the game. You look really good now, but I can see how you want to target certain areas. (I absolutely HATE my legs!!) Keep up the good work girl!

Hey guys!!!!!

Hey guys how are you! I just wanted to stop by and say hello and see how everyone is doing!
Last night I had an incredibly tough workout. I met up with two guys who go to my gym and they were working legs last night… oh my goodness am I SORE today. I was pushed pretty hard through the workout they do. Obviously my body was use to working legs on the machines… and I worked muscles last night that I didn’t even know existed!! Hehe. Some of the things we did were Squats (not sure the weight), Lunges with two 10 lb weights…..40 of them, leg extension (45lbs), leg curls (60lbs), calf rasises (150 lbs), box hops/jumps, regular unweighted calf raises, and stepping. I couldn’t even get my cardio in my legs were so jelloy and tired!!! It’s a good feeling though!

People at work are probably thinking I took one up the ass last night because I am waddling around the office because im sore!!!! Hahahaha. Ew.

Anyways, some good news to share!!!! I hit 125 last night!!!! :willy_nilly: I am very very happy to say ive finally met my original goal!!! ? ON TO THE NEXT!! 120 is my next goal and I know its gonna be a tough road… but im totally pumped!!!!!! And now that I have some people to push me with weights… im gonna be stepping up the toning process!:biggrinjester:
Tonight is chest and back I think… im pretty excited.:hurray:

Also, just wanted to share this small tidbit with everyone. I called my doctors office to ask them out of curiosity what I weighed the first time they saw me. That was February 2005. That was actually a month after I met my boyfriend. The girl pulled my chart and here is what she told me
Febraury 2005- 133.8

Febrauary 2009- 151.8

SOOOO, ladies and gentlemen I weight less today then I did when I met my boyfriend AND when I graduated highschool. Im pretty psyched :hurray:

Anyways food for yesterday
Breakfast:
cheerios w/ fresh strawberries
coffee w. cream and splenda

Lunch:
1 chicken Kabob
1 cup of Broccoli
2 cups of watermelon

Snack3:00- Fresh Peach, unsalted almonds
Snack 4:00- 2 graham crackers, 1 coffee w/ cream and splenda, 1 crystal light

Dinner: chicken sandwich ( only ate bottom bun) w/ cheddar cheese slice, onion straws, little chipotle mayo.
Garlic parm fries
