Hajni's Diary: I will do it because I can

Made this modified pumpkin roll tonight, very low calorie and instead of the buttery filling I am filling it with sugarless jam.. (that's how I learned from my mom in Europe) 1 big slice came to like 65-70 calories, can't believe it!!!

I pm-d the recipe for you!! Hope you are going to enjoy it as much as I did. I usually keep the recipes to myself because I modify them soo much, and since they are virtually fat free and sugar free while they are ok, hubby points out more than often how they don't taste like the real thing... but I am content and it satisfies my sweet tooth so I won't go on a binge with a 600 cal. dessert.

Ok, you guys I never did this, I usually don't modify my ticker during the week regardless of the scale reading, always wait till the Official weigh in day.
So now I just broke my rule, because I am so happy to report that I saw 144 on the scale today, in fact the second time I stepped on it said 143.8, but I am going with the higher number... and I just HAD to change my ticker to show that and let me uh and ah over it.. :hurray: And I still have TOM...

Nov. 23rd (Fri) (29 days left)

Man, I feel like a million $ today!!!
On turkey day I over-ate a little, planned to eat 1600 cal and ended up with 2000 cal which was not so-so bad but still was over....
Anyway I thought I have to do some damage control today but I woke up, hopped on the scale and it showed....
143.4!!!!!!:party:
How did that ever happen???? Man, it gave me some extra motivation for sure!!!! Got up early to go shopping , got home around 10 am, slept, then went to the gym for 1.5 hrs, just got back and feel awesome!!!
Today's food is around 1400 cals and burned about 650 with the exercise, so I am back on track. Didn't really keep track of the foods, just kept adding up the calories in my head, so i am pretty sure it is close enough.
On top of that I got a running shoe for myself for $25!! So cheap...Which made me soo happy!!!
I have to go, somehow hubby and DD manages to turn the whole house upside down everytime I am in the gym....

I saw you got a pair of running shoes for $25...you lucky girl! I love buying shoes, but it always seems like the ones I want aren't in my size.

new walking/running shoes,I have lucked out and paid about $30 for the nike

I am 142.2 as of this morning.:party::party:

TOM was on its way out yesterday and took the last of the bloating with it.... So I am 4.4 lbs less than I was last Saturday!!!

I am sooooo happy!!!! The last 4 weeks should be a breeze!!!

I just ordered some new vids, cause I don't always like to get down to the basement to exercise in the cold winter... I didn't get turbo jam yet, but it's still on my wish list. :)

Thanks for visiting SweatPea!!! Do try Turbo jam!!! I am the queen of getting bored of a work-out video and this is the only one I don't hate before it even starts playing... LOL
I am trying mixing it as well, toying with the idea of going to the gym for pilates class which is on Tue. nights. We'll see.

Yes I can almost taste It!!!!!!!!! My plan is to reach 140 and probably maintain between 140 & 145..seems to be easier than try to stay 140 all the time...
I used to never run , couldn't even imagine running... started with the elliptical in the gym, working up my stamina and one day I decided to see just how I am doing and ran 15 min. straight..... Man I was so happy!!!! So I have been running since then, but I am not an avid runner, it is not a huge enjoyment to me....
 
Nov. 25th Sunday, (27 days left)

I did not post yesterday, I couldn't find the time.
Food was ok, could have done better but fell for a 1/2 slice of pizza making my calories to be like 1800, and only did 1/2 my exercise as we went to the parade of lights in our neighbour town. Boy it was so cold, I couldn't wait to get home.. I still came out ok, no loss no gain day for yesterday.
Today is going a lot better. Went to the gym, did all sorts of things kind of jumping from one thing to another, i was the only one in a gym, so i was just singing along my mp3 player... Running a mile, then doing some circuit training, then elliptical, back to circuit, some strenght training...etc. Food was ok as well, I have not finished my dinner yet, still have about 150 cals to spare, will update later what I figured out. Went a little over-happy with the whip cream in the morning, oh well.

Breakfast: Protein pancakes (300), 3 tbs jelly (30), 8 tbs ff whip cream ( 60), coffee (50) = 440
Snack: none
Lunch: ½ serving Maple syrup brown sugar pumpkin casserole (91), roasted veggies (116), shake : ½ c. ff milk (45), 1 ff yogurt (45) ½ c. frozen blueberries (35), 2 ww bread (70), 2 tbs sgf jelly (20) = 422
Snack: 1 granola snack bar (190)
Dinner: 1 c. ff milk (90), 1 c. Kellog's special K cereal (100) UPDATE: 1/2 pita bread (30), 1 jello caramel pudding (60), 1/2 small apple (40) = 320
Dessert: none
Total calories for the day : 1372 + 40 = 1412 (probably eat another 150 cals before the night is over, will update)
Exercise.:. 1 hrs 20 min in the gym (600 cal)

I am exited about being in a team for the Christmas challenge!! Hopefully I did not mess up too much with that week 2... oh well, I will try to make up... Also this week's bonus is very easy for me.. as I exercise well over 180 min a week.

I totally love your plan I can actually live like the way I have been doing I realized it has been a year since I left the 200's behind and I have been maintaining around 180's-190's I am more happier now but I know I can be ALOT more happier getting to the 140's then maintaing from there like you have done.
You have done so well.I am also finally getting around to making that bread pudding for my mom right now actually it is baking,T-day was so hectic for me I couldn't make it.Have a gr8 day Tammy
 
WOW,I started off by reading the first couple pages of your diary to find out what brought you here, then I read your recent page and OH MY WORD, in such a short time you have almost come to the end of your journey, HOW AMAZING!! You must be thrilled, and your family too. Can you believe that on the first page of this diary you posted that you kept clothes from when you were in the 150's and now your even under that, did you go out and buy some smaller stuff too??? CONGRATS, CONGRATS on a job well done!!! See it's people like you that keep me inspired and willing to keep up the fight. Thanks so much for being here, and way to go on getting almost to the end of your journey,:driving: I can't wait to get to mine!!

Hey girl.. thanks for the birthday wishes.. yeah i plan on having a great day today.. although it will be a busy one thats for sure.. haha I can't believe its only going to be 27 more days and your done with the whole weight loss efforts for good.. then it comes time to baby making.. haha I can't believe how fast this past year has flown by.. i never imagined it going this fast.

Man its nice that its gone by fast but at the same time kinda makes me sad cause that means at the end of next month you won't be around as much cause you will only be focusing on the maintance part instead of losing..

Thanks for the kind words Kim.!! I am thrilled to come so far in claiming my body back!!! I have clothes from the lower end of 150's and they fit, I think the pregnancy re-arranged me a little at places... so clothes that fit me at a higher weight are just now fitting me...
You will be at your goal weight before you know it, just keep going!!!

Yeah, it is sad to say (but makes me happy) but this is it for me, the final countdown. I will be around although definetely not as much and I doubt I will be posting much into my diary but i will visit all the diaries of friends I made here. it is time for me to focus my efforts somewhere other parts of my life...
