Yes, I think this time I did find that inside motivation!! And the fact that now it is going down and looking in the mirror is not so bad adds an extra boost to that motivation.
Even if I stay where I am now till Sat. this month will be the highest lbs lost month for me. The second highest was 6 lb/month, in the past I could never do anything better than that.
This challenge is really good for me!! Keeps me focused and I like that it has an "end date". For me it is easier when I think about: half is done, another half to go. Then when it is done I just find another milestone, timeline i stick to and concentrate on that. Small steps.
Almost ready to go to boot-camp. DH is picking up DD from the babysitter, so the earlier I get out of work, the earlier I can get to the gym and hop on the elliptical.
The gym brakes up the monotony of working out at home. I am not sure I would be able to stick to it six days a week without those classes twice a week.

Breakfast: 1 medium banana(110), 1 ½ tbs wheat germ (37), 1 tsp honey(30) 1 tbs p. butter (90), 3/4 c. cereal (90),1 coffee (50) = 407

Snack: 1 orange (80), 1 ½ graham crackers (65)= 145

Lunch: Lean Cuisine spring roll (310), 2 c. lettuce (10), 1 tomato (10), 1 jello (10) =340

Snack: 1 rice cake (50), 1 plain ff yogurt (80) = 130

Dinner: 1 ww bread (35), 1 tbs peanut butter (90),, 1 ff blueberry yogurt (60), 1 c. ff milk (90), 1 medium frozen banana (110), ice cubes = 330

Dessert: none


Total calories for the day : 1407

Exercise.: morn= 38 min walk on treadmill, 2% incline, 3.8 mi/hr speed, burning 300 cal.
34 min elliptical and 30 min boot-camp, 500 cal burn = 800 calorie total

Calorie Deficit: 1166 I might have a little dessert around 60 cal to reduce this
 
Today started out slow. I did not sleep well, was up 3-4 times , it was humid and hot... Then 5.30 my alarm went off and I got up and made myself to exercise but did just so-so. I had to be at work early so I only did like 28 min walk on the treadmill instead my 38 min. I only burned like 225 calories, but that's ok because I am planning to do some more tonight, plus I did not have a rest day last week.
DH's birthday is this Sunday, i did not buy any presents for him because he is very particular about his stuff, so i never know what to get him. We usually just discuss it and if there is something he needs during the year, we buy it and call it a Birthday present.

Dessert: 1 ff yogurt (60) = 60

Exercise.: 28 min. walk on treadmill, 2% incline, 3.9 mi/hr speed (225 cal burn) , night exercise: 20 min turbo jam, 30 min jog/run (425 cal burn) = 650 total

I Can Not Believe This. I Lost 3.4 Lbs This Week!!!!

You won't believe this.
I hopped on the scale this morning, even that I knew I was doing exceptionally good this week I am still scraping myself up from the floor.

It showed : 151.6:eek2:

I lost 3.4 lbs this week. I thought I could never ever do that. My highest lost to date is 2 lb/week and I was killing myself.
I did have TOM last Saturdays which could have been modifying my weigh in. That's the only explanation I can think of."

Well, I am as happy as they come. And the new challenge for this week is a piece cake for me as I am already doing about 1 hr -1.30 exercise every day.
Psst: If I keep going as I have been through this challenge I will reach my goal weight by Halloween!! I don't count on it, but it surely seems a possibility right now.
WOW, I lost 8.4 lbs this month. DH is as shocked as I am .
And I have not done anything different this week then other weeks. Watching my food, doing my exercises. That's it.
Ok, I have to go now, I will be checking in later.
 
Dang girl that is totally awesome! I can't believe your body is letting go of that much at one time! Especially since you are so close to goal.

My body would be fighting every single pound!

I am a little suspicious as of yet, we'll see what the scale says tomorrow. I am jumping off the walls, as I was so ready for a slow down in weight loss, that it is really a huge surprise. Just look, I probably won't lose anything this week. LOL
Hopefully it is not my scale. :) Should get hubby on there to check for accuracy.
 
Saturday

We went to Great Barrington ,MA today for a “family day”. DD behaved herself for the most part but around 1 pm she just needed to take a nap. Hubby wanted to check out antique shops and some crystal stores. We strolled up and down on main street and went into stores that looked interesting. Ended up not buying a thing. Planned to eat in at Thai restaurant. I ordered a platter with a bunch of steamed veggies and fried tofu (that was not so healthy LOL), and asked for the peanut sauce to be on the side. Only ate a little bit of rice, all the veggies and dunked the tofu lightly to the sauce. Had two small veggie rolls for appetizers’, no sauce . Did my best in fitday to add up the calories and it came out to be 662. I am not sure how accurate that is but I have to go with that.
Still have some calories to spare for today and no exercise as I thought I make this a rest day.

Breakfast: 2 frozen waffles (160), 1 tbs walnuts (50), ½ peach (35), 1 ff vanilla yogurt (60) 1 coffee (50) = 365

Snack: 1 medium apple (80), 1 peach (70) = 150

Lunch: Thai lunch, fried tofu, 1/3 c. rice, 1.5 c steamed broccoli, ½ c. zucchini ½ c. green beans, 2 small egg rolls, 1 tbs peanut sauce = 662

Snack: none

Dinner: 1 homemade blueberry muffin (158), 1 ff blueberry yogurt (60) = 218

Dessert: none

Total calories for the day : 1395 w/o dinner

Hey hajni... woohooo congrats on the 3.4 lb loss this week. I'm really happy that you saw such a great number on the scale. If you do lose next week your going to be below your original goal for the challenge.. woohoo keep up the great work girly. I'm super proud of you and it just shows that all your hard work is paying off.

Maybe we can chat tonight if not i'll talk to you soon. gotta go get my workout in now since i just got alex down for his nap a few minutes ago and i want to get in my 45 minutes for the challenge today for sure. Lots of hugs. Hope the rest of your day goes great and the week to come too.
 
Sunday, hubby's birthday

HI Heather, thanks for stopping by. Well, today the scale showed 152which is 0.4 lbs higher but fluctuations like that for me are normal.
I really will work hard this week, because I would love to see 150 on the scale by the end of the week. That would be awesome!!

Today was a good day, it is not over yet, DH's family is due to come over any minute to celebrate his birthday. I already decided to eat one of the slim-a-bear ice cream sandwiches for dessert so I am good to go.
Breakfast: 1 c egg beaters (120), 1 baby zucchini (3), 1 ww bread (35), 1 tbs jelly (10), 1 ff vanilla yogurt (60), 1 peach (70), 1 coffee (50) = 348

Snack: none

Lunch: ½ c. cottage cheese (80), 1 pear (100), 1 tbs walnuts (50), 1 low carb tortilla wrap (50), 1 tbs wheat germ (25), 1 c. ff milk (90) = 395

Snack: ½ c. ff milk (45), 1/6 c. protein powder (55), ½ c. frozen strawberries (25), 1 ff vanilla yogurt (60) = 185

Dinner: 2 ww bread (70), 1 veggie burger (90), mustard, 2 c. steamed snow-peas (120) 2 c. mixed salad (25) = 305


Dessert: 100 cal slim a bear ice cream sandwich (100) = 100

Total calories for the day : 1333

Exercise.:
45 min turbo jam + 32 min running = 725 cal burn.

Great Monday

Ok, so hubby's family came over last night and brought: 1 white-chocolate cake, 1 raspberry cheesecake and 1 vanilla-chocolate ice cream cake over :eek::eek:.
But I am proud to say, I have not touched any of it. Instead I ate my slim-a-bear 100 cal ice cream like planned. It was hard looking at all those goodies but now a day later I am so glad I have not touched them. I would be mad at myself I know.
So today was great, I had boot-camp at the gym. Also did my morning exercise, but all day kind of felt like coming down with a head cold or something. It is better now, hope it will go away.

Breakfast: 1 weight control hot cereal (160), 1 tbs walnuts (50), 1 ww bread (35), 1 tbs p. butter (90), 1 c. ff milk (90) = 425

Snack: 1 medium apple (100) = 100

Lunch: Healthy Choice vegetable soup (160), ½ c. cottage cheese (80), 1 tbs walnuts (50) 3 slices melba toast (60), 2 c. lettuce, tomato, cucumber (35) = 385

Snack: 1 ff vanilla yogurt (60), 2 graham crackers (65) = 125

Dinner: ½ baked acorn squash (86), 2 c. lettuce (15), 1 tomato & cucumber (15), 1 Quorn chicken naked cutlets (80), 1 c. ff milk (90) = 286

doctor's appt.

I had a regular visit with a new doctor today due to my insurance changing and my old doctor not taking the new insurance.
Everything is perfect and we were talking about weight loss as well. She whipped out a BMI index ( i thought here we go) but her practice does not go by the chart we all know too well. She told me as long as I am under the BMI of 27 ( which is 157 lbs for me ) she considers that as healthy weight and not overweight by any means.
So I am good to go, clean bill of health.

Will update my exercise and food tonight.
 
Great Tuesday

ok, so today was kind of off since I had the drs appointment, but I kept on with food and still have to do my night exercise later.
I do have to say, I am weighing myself everyday and it seems the scale got stuck at 152. Since Sunday I am holding on..
Ok, I had a shake for dinner, and ate at 5.30pm, so by 8 when I do my work-out my stomach would be somewhat empty. Planning to do 1 mile running and turbo jam and only burn like 300 cals with it.


Breakfast: 2 ww bread (70), 1 tbs p.butter (90), 1 tbs jelly (10), 1 ff vanilla yogurt (60), ½ c. frozen blueberries (35), 1 coffee (50) = 315

Snack:
1 kellogs special K Bar (90)

Lunch: Lean Cuisine Pizza (330), 2 c. lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers (35), 1 jello (10) =375

Snack: ½ c. ww cereal (60), ½ c, ff milk (45), 1 tbs walnuts (50) = 155

Dinner: 1 mango (135), 1 c. ff milk (90) 1 ff vanilla yogurt (60), 2 veggie dogs (90)

Exercise.:. morning : 40 min treadmill, burning 300 cal. evening: 20 min turbo jam, 20 min running : 400 cal burn = 700 cal burn

Hey Tammy, thanks for visiting. I keep in mind that those desserts will not be off-limits forever just until I reach my goal and then I can have them in moderation... That helps.
So I am holding steady at 152. for 4 days now. Even that my routine is the same as it was last week. it would be premature to worry about plateau but the thought crossed my mind. My last plateau lasted 4 weeks at 166, about 15 lbs ago. And since I am pretty close to my goal.... I just have to wait it out till SAt. It has happened before that all the way till Thursd. I had not recorded a loss and all of a sudden lost 1.6 lbs overnight. Plus I had a huge loss last week, my body might be "recovering" from that. :)
This weekend is my FIL and BIL birthday party is coming up. Then in November my MIL b.day. December has friends b.days... Hoping to be in maintainance mode by then. :)
Something is "off" with me the last couple of days. Feel like I am going to come down with a cold. Dull headache, sleepy all day long and decreased energy level. hoping it passes soon.
Ok, i have to get to work.
 
OMG Hajni I disappear for little and you turn into skinny minny-LOL great job! You are going to be in maintenance in no time!!I am so proud of you!
