You can DO the perfect day thing.i know you can but thing is you must really get into it!!!!like find some healthy no fat food and try to LOVE it get addicted to it|!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Clear you mind of pizzas and crap you have had them stop now think of this as getting healthy rather than a diet.Really something that you can stick to , for more than a couple of months.

I dont understand why you cut out coffee.Is it cause of sugar?

JESS! Hurrah!!!!! Helllloooooooooo!!!!!! :hurray: You, are just what I needed! On the 11th (I think) I weighed 87.5 Kilo's! Not good! Well, the coffee is for two reasons really. Its quite bad that my main reason is the calories in milk- I have at least 100mls of full fat milk in it now and I hate it with anything less, and drinking it all day adds up to at least 500 extra empty calories a day. The second reason, which is why I should be doing it, is because I had a urine infection recently, I was actually weeing blood! SCARY!!!! And that was almost certainly from drinking nothing but coffee. My exzema has been quite bad as well (and that also got infected when I had my urine infection.. Felt like one big infected thing.), and it is taking ages to clear up properly, and dairy can aggrevate it.So I should cut out the milk really. Just didn't want to moan about minor health problems and send everyone to sleep :) You can wake up now!

I haven't drunk anything but coffee again today, I will have a fruit tea before bed.

I have had total diet fail for the past few days.... My appetite is humongous. I went out with my mate Charlotte on Sunday, got drunk, had hangover food the next day, got a teeny bit drunk again, hangover food again today arrggghhhh. I feel like hitting the bottle, actually beating it up because it has wrecked my diet :)

Tomorrow I really actually am going shopping for food. Definitely!!!

Two massive bowls of shredded wheat

Awh Ruth! I know the hangover food very well! We must avoid it lovely! Can you not just cut down to 1 coffee in the morning and 1 in the afternoon? Or you can have a coffee but only if you drink a pint of water or do 10 starjumps first? :p That way you can kinda make the coffee work in your favour if you have to do healthy stuff to earn it.
 
AYus, we must!!! There is something about it being hot that makes me want to drink, I crave vodka and oranges for some reason.

Earlier on I put 250mls of whole milk in a sports bottle for tomorrow. I said to myself that once its gone I shall have no more. That's enough for 2-4 coffees, so I'm thinking its my choice how many I have, maybe if I'm tirder I'll have it with less so I can have more coffee. But if that doesn't work I will give your idea a go :)

How has this turned into a giving up coffee diary anyway lol :)

Tomorrow, it shall be about actual food :D
 
ASo I really actually JUST NOW did some shopping! GASP!!!!

I did such healthy shopping I thought everyone would tell me off for not eating enough. My calorie-ometre must be way out tho, because I totted up all the calories for the seemingly low cal things, and it actually reached almost 1400!

It is the bf's turn to pay for the shopping, but he keeps getting out of it. So I thought I would just do shopping for myself and eat differently from him and the kids. My diet is going to be pretty same-y for the next 6 days, but its really late and I couldn't be bothered with doing it properly, and I know if I procrastinated it just wouldn't get done... As it hasn't been in about two weeks of "Meaning to do it". I absolutely hate having a bare fridge!

The plan is:
250 mls smoothie- 125ish
Carton of fresh soup- 200ish (Got a variety of lurverly flavours)
Sweetcorn and onion omelette with peas- 470ish
Big tropical fruit salad- 180 (I couldn't believe how many calories this is! I got 4 ready prepared ones)
40g mixed nuts and sultanas- 209
250 mls whole milk in coffees- 170
=1354

I am also going to go to the gym and burn off at least 250 calories every day, doing weight training on alternate days.

6 days of perfect eating to get me BACK ON TRACK!!!!!

Well, yesterday I had an afternoon nap. Which lasted till 11 o'clock tonight, which isn't good AT ALL.

Opening ceremony tonight! I shall probably be in the land of nod by 9 :( Think I'll go and watch the torch with Lily tho. If I can figure out where to actually go, because the olympics website is crap. You zoom in to see the road names, and the bloody route disappears!

These really help.... My giving in muscle shall be strengthened. This is why Kate's got skinny and stayed that way, because her muscle was strengthened from saying NO! at work all the time.

I really do, more than anything want to be slim. I can be! I will be!

Decided to start weighing myself again so I can take part in the August challenge. I want to lose at least 9 pounds this month.

You have just floored me!!!!!!!! I really can't see how you think I am skinny! Do you really see that???? and I am a freak cos I still feel fat. I feel fat right now, my stomach is bloated and tight in my uniform!
I really must try and accept how I look, I really need to.

I do say no at work all the time but I fail in the evening!!!!

I think seeing the torch would be very exciting....we are all big Olympic watchers and it will be something we all watch as a family and that makes me happy :)

AKate :D Have replied to you on your diary. A few treats in the evening here and there does not make diet fail! Its when you eat whatever you want, whenever you want which makes that.

Tete I didn't get to watch the torch unfortunately :( Nick was out and I had to wait in all day for a courier to come and collect a lamp I'm sending on ebay :( Its lovely that you all sit down together and watch it. Think I may go to Hyde park tomorrow, have a picnic and watch it on the big screen. Thanks for the cheers!!!

Well, my shopping came, and they gave me pure pineapple instead of fruit salads, which was annoying as I wanted a variety of fruit. And the lovely people at asda thought it would be nice to give me two free packets of biscuits as well- posh ones, without preservatives, made with butter. The swines. So I did have one. Maybe it would work in my favour having one biscuit a day... I can show the part of me who wants to ransack the whole packet, who is the BOSS!

Perfect day one
Apple and Lime smoothie & 40 grams nuts and sultanas.
ONE honey biscuit
3k at the gym in 27:28
Onion and sweetcorn omelette with salad
30 minutes sorting out the garden.
Pea soup
4 teas with sugar (My fault, no sweetener!).


Edit----- Had 8 more biscuits. Couldn't stop thinking about them. Maybe it is not in my favour. Ooops.
 
APerfect day one, take 2 :)

3k at the gym, inc 1k on steep incline: 31 minutes + body resistance/weights for 20 minutes.
Might have a movie marathon.

I don't know what has happened to my sleeping! I went to bed at half 6 last night... Woke up wide awake at half bloody 11 at bloody night. So I am really struggling today. Proud that I went to the gym tho :)

I really hope I manage these 6 perfect days. I just want to sink my teeth into a pizza right now.
 
AThank goodness I slept for 14 hours last night and got my sleeping back to normal hours!!!

Have lost 3 more pounds according to the scales :hurray:

I am super bored, which is why I am writing todays food now. I only usually do it near the end of the day, maybe one meal in advance. It will be interesting to see if I actually stick to the plan. Havn't got much food to choose from, so it shouldn't be too hard.

butternut squash and bacon fresh soup- 230
3 egg sweetcorn and onion omelette with a sprinkling of that powdered hard cheese, and lots of peas 500ish

Aching a teensy bit, but I will go to the gym and do 3k even if I just walk it all.
Also going to do an hours housework/gardening.

Found some pictures of me when I was skinny- Think I weighed about 10 stone 7, so this wasn't at my slimmest, but still pretty near. The jeans I were wearing were 29 waist (and were loose, my smallest ever waist measurement was 27), and the orange jumper size 10... I think I ill look at these when I am thinking to myself that I can never be slim... I did it before, and I can do it again!!!!!

I did the 3k in 21:17, with a 3 minute warm up, and a couple of minutes walking. Which I'm pleased with.
Had a packet of hula hoops as well.
Didn't do housework.
Did more super healthy shopping to be delivered on Friday, when this weeks healthy shop runs out. In fact, I may do it for the week after as well. Just because. There will be NO EXCUSE!

I've said it once I'll say it again...I think you are stunning no matter your weight.....but holy heck you were super slim! I think you should be whatever weight you feel happy and healthy at that is all that matters...you being happy :)

Well I do have to confess to getting a pizza yesterday. I had run out of eggs for dinner, the kids were hungry, I have lost my cash card, and you can pay by paypal for a dominio's, so I did it. I ate 6 slices. Was stuffed. Then I drank a whole litre bottle of smoothie after, which is fairly calorific really, even if it is good for you. Then I couldn't sleep and had two weetabix with sugar. My other food for the day was pineapple, nuts and fresh soup.

I am not going to let an evening of over-indulgence wreck my diet tho. NO SIR-EEEEEE!

Back on the diet train again, and its a long way to the next pigging station.

Think I will do a new ticker at the beginning of every month, seeing as the damn thing doesn't show up in the signature.

I am quite proud of myself that I'm sticking to the gym :) Had a rest day yesterday but I was aching so badly. My food yesterday was good, but I did have a kinder bueno and two portions of nuts.


Will have to watch Geordie shore :)


The shopping came today.... I am revelling in its glorious healthiness. My fridge looks great :) Just like opening it and seeing all the healthy thingies in it.
